OlderAngelina Jolie Visits Iraq
UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie traveled to Iraq and Syria to see first-hand the humanitarian needs there — the plight of hundreds of thousands of families uprooted by the ongoing conflict in Iraq.
According to UNHCR, “Yesterday in Damascus (Syria), Jolie visited a UNHCR registration center and spent hours talking to Iraqi refugees in their homes. Today, she crossed into Iraq to visit 1,200 refugees trapped in a makeshift camp at the border, unable to flee Iraq, and later watched scores of Iraqis crossing into Syria at a border checkpoint.”
“I have come to Syria and Iraq to help draw attention to this humanitarian crisis and to urge governments to increase their support for UNHCR and its partners,” Angelina said. “My sole purpose in both countries is to highlight the plight of those uprooted by the war in Iraq.”
After talking with stranded refugees at Iraq’s Al Waleed camp on Tuesday, Angie said: “it is absolutely essential that the ongoing debate about Iraq’s future includes plans for addressing the enormous humanitarian consequences these people face.”
While in Iraq, Jolie also took the time to privately visit US troops and other Multi-National Forces based in the area.

i agree some parts of so easy post but there are few things w/made me raised eyebrows but tht’s ok, at least she’s not tht post, so i want her post a great one.i guess becoz she is not a fan, tht’s ok, but I BELIEVE ANGELINA IS VERY SINCERE THN most people i know in HOLLYWEIRD. it’s been many yrs, she’s doing it.if i were a famous wannabe, i will befriend her to keep me grounded instead on focusing on my look, fortune & fame. i think she has done way beyond my expectation about famous people can do. she came all the way down from her pedestal and go out there in those very criticaly violent and grim places to get down and dirty. i never heard any famous ones did tht, not even oprah winfrey, bono , bill gates ,etc. thogh i acknowledge all their generosity, i APPLAUD MISS JOLIIE, THE MOST!i am not really fond of celebrity, becoz most of them , just spend all their fortune for themselves and for anything they want buy big houses, cosmetic surgeries, boozing,partying,spa, luxurious getaways,etc. they forgot without their fans , they won’t be up there . so for some people to say PR or they are not sure or don’t care , if she is sincere, tht is plain stupid. i don’t hv to be a fan to be convince. heck, i myself want to pick, why shld i put my life on the line, speciallyif i hv my kids and loving family and besides i hv to finance my trip?. my point is, she can live better just doing movies, if she wants to fake out , WHT FOR? ….wht can she gain from it? for more thn 6 yrs, WHY? is she crazy? or desperate of attentions? she don’t need UR ATTENTIONS! she has a very loving, supportive,happy family! plus, fans & jealous people says” SHE GOT BRAD PITT!” i think the other reason, why women hate her because she is un-attainable plus, sus-maryosep brad pitt! these women are desperately wishing to land in the hands of mr. pitt excluding the fans, i think most fans love angelina and few shallow ones, just learn to tolerate her. my apology, for some people out here, if i struck a nerve, it was not intentional, just pure honest and innocent remarks from real people.

Bravo!! Angelina Jolie is the best!! I just love her and Brad and her whole family! She is so brave and so kind!
She has absolutely no buisness meddling in world politics.No one wants to listen to someone that fraternizes with terrorists.She needs to stick with what she does best,volunteer for the do nothing agency(U.N) being a ho and making crappy movies. I can’t seem to find any respect for this pitiful excuse of a woman. Celebrity self importance overload indeed!!!!!!
Why do haters even bother to come here? This information is for fans. We’ve been fans of either Brad or Angelina or both with no problems. Why the hell do they come bring their gloom here? Why do they even care to take the time to post? Don’t they know that nobody cares what they have to say except themselves who reply to their own posts?
