OlderAngelina Jolie Highlights Humanitarian Crisis
UNHCR goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie listens to one elderly refugee’s story at the makeshift Al Waleed camp inside Iraq on Tuesday. This woman is just one of some 1,300 trapped unable to leave the country for neighboring Syria.
Angie has worked with UNHCR since early 2001. In May, a foundation set up by Angie and Brad Pitt, donated $1 million to help those affected by the conflict in Sudan’s Darfur region and neighboring Chad.
UPDATE 1: The Huffington Post reports Angie gain flew commercial with no staff, as she did with Darfur last year. She is stealth! (Head bodyguard Mickey Brett did tag along, though.)
UPDATE 2: OK! Magazine just updated their site with Angelina posting with Lance Corporal Samuel Petersen, 22, of the US Marine Corps.

Dad Brad Pitt was left to look after the kids today after Angelina jetted out to Iraq on UN business. After whisking Pax off to the Natural History Museum to see the dinosaurs, he then went for a horse carriage ride around Central Park with Zahara. And she loved every minute.

AJ is on a mission for the UN to document the problems of Refugees in Iraq. She is not there to give an opinion on the war. We have leaders in Congress and our great President who have to answer for the war as well as the voting American Public. If trolls would get their heads out of Outta Touch and Lies and Lies, then they would know what AJ duties entail. Many have posted links regarding her work with the UNHCR. As much as I admire Angie for her humanitarian work, I am a bit worried that she is staying in such unstable place like. Hope you get home safely and soon Angelina.
