A spokesman for 20th Century Fox recently brushed off questions about Marley and Me, in which Owen is to star in alongside Jennifer Aniston. “It’s a totally inappropriate at this time when all of our thoughts and concerns are with his health and well being,” the spokesperson told Variety.

Drugs are way too accessible in HW.
This is why i hate those magazines. They take every opportunity to exploit a situation.
As the mother of a former addict my heart is breaking for him and his family. My son never attempted suicide but nearly died from a crack cocaine addiction. He was a wonderful, bright happy child who started experimenting in his teens. He finally hit bottom in 1992 and has been clean and sober since. He now owns his own business a beautiful home and family. You can recover but YOU have t want to. Friends and family cannot force you to. My prayers are with him.

I REALLY hope the latest meme isn’t going to be that Kate caused Owen’s suicide attempt. It wasn’t her fault. If someone is in that state of mind, nothing will deter them, not love, not money…nothing. He had his own reasons for doing it, and I truly hope he is able to address them and keep it from happening again. All the best to Owen and his family.

Tabloids will make a soap opera out of anything. Owen Wilson is responsible for his own life. It cannot make Kate Hudson feel great to be implicated in his suicide attempt. I hope he gets the help that he needs.

That is exactly what I read on another site, too. Once people knew he was OK, it was just some irreverant humor at her expense, NOT his. He’s OK, so just lighten up. People joke about dark things in life as a coping mechanism, also. We don’t need any stinkin’ blog police around here.

Drugs are very accessible everywhere, not just in HW.
They are really exploited this tragedy by putting Kate’s pic on the cover, dragging her into it.
Life is so precious….
Trustingly, this will be Owen’s wake-up call to get on a straight and narrow path to full recovery….all friends who continue to use substance of any kind will need to be removed from his life after appropriate therapy.
Owen Wilson is loved and supported in, hopefully, a loving and professional recovery environment in the months ahead.
God Bless Kate Hudson….I can imagine she adored him when he wasn’t using!
