OlderLuke Wilson Visits Brother Owen
Luke Wilson joins friends and family to be at older brother Owen’s side at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in West Hollywood on Monday. Also pictured visiting the hospital: actor pal Woody Harrelson.
It was recently confirmed that Owen did, in fact, attempt suicide and he has been depressed for the last few months. But it’s not over a broken relationship, reports state.
Extra reports, “The Calls For Service report from the Santa Monica Police Department, which lists the reason for the 911 call from Owen Wilson’s house as an “attempted suicide.” The call was received on Sunday, August 26 at 12:08:16pm. The incident was ‘cleared’ almost five hours later at 5:07:16pm.”
Owen recently released this statement via his rep:”I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”

You know what’s sad is that so many homeless people get harassed and asked to leave private property, but these paparrazzi seem to be immune from any lawsuits or laws.
I really think that you should take this down. This is NOT gossip news or something that should be up on a celeb gossip/posting site. This is a serious FAMILY issue and you should RESPECT his and their privacy Jared and take this down. You are promoting the paps taking pics of his family and him in a horrid and sad time in their lives. I know saying this is prob just a waste but,

These pictures are so intrusive, I wont look at them. I think we should respect their privacy. I know if my brother were Owen last thing i would want to see are the paps.

why would you pay for and post these pics, only to encourage the photogs even more, when the family has asked for the media to respect their privacy? Thats poor form. A suicide attempt is not entertainment
I’ve always liked Owen Wilson, although I tended to think of him as kind of a shallow, woman-chasing man *****. Now, I feel bad for thinking of him like that. Get well, Owen!

There must be a better way to rally behind the Wilson brothers right now. These pictures are wrong Jared, we should not invade this human tragedy. You need to take these pictures down. This is a very challenging time for this family and we need to find ways to show love, concern and healing…not gawk at their angst! My heart goes out for all of them…

You post these photos and then you put Owen’s statement pleading for privacy afterwards. Um, what about this post is doing that? This is just very uncouth.
I am glad that Owen is feeling better, BUT leave him and his family alone!! looking at those pictures to see how scared and worried Luke looks makes me sick that nobody is regarding his privacy!

I agree with some of the others who think pictures of visitors for Owen is disrespectful. I’d rather not see them and it’s worse when I can see the pain on Luke’s face. No, I didn’t want to see the pictures. A simple report that Luke visited his brother is enough. But more, I feel so much for Owen and hope he has a full recovery - both physically and emotionally. I’ve always liked Owen both on screen and of what I’ve seen him away from films.
I won’t look at any more invasive pictures related to Owen’s current condition.

I agree - those photos are too invasive and shouldn’t be purchased or posted. The Wilsons are facing a very serious issue and should be allowed to come and go from the hospital and heal in peace.
Luke’s face is heartbreaking. I can’t imagine having the world stalking me as I was dealing with a family member’s suicide attempt.

Isn’t Britney headed for another breakdown or wearing something really hideous? Isn’t Nicole Richie sucking on a crack pipe while patting her pregnant belly? Isn’t Paris getting stuffed by some greasy gigolo? Take pictures of that. ****.
Sorry, but when it comes to **** like this, leave the guy alone. Unlike the usual celebutards, I doubt he did this as a publicity stunt (I’m waiting for Paris and/or Lindsay full pap coverage of their suicide attempts now that Owen is getting all the attention). Let the man have some dignity.
That picture of Luke Wilson is seriously in bad taste. He’s clearly distraught, you’d think the photographer would have a least a speck of humanity and give him space.

From having a family member who commited suicide when I was young and knowing what it is like and knowing what they must be going through. Seeing this picture is gut-wrenching. Seriously, this is bad taste. Take it down.
