He also has been known to sing Lionel Ritchie(an openly straight man)and Journey songs. What does his singing a George Michael song have to do with anything. And lets look at the lyrics of your song of choice, specifically the line that reads, “And I am dancing with the “freaks” now.” Are you saying that gay people are freaks? If so, how ignorant of you.
Dont you think that if you where famous and were uneasy being photographted with your secret lover that your body language would reflect that? Pati, ask your psychology teacher… I think they look like a happy normal “couple.”
I think most of U here are STUPID. Just a couple of pictures and all of a sudden WENT = GAY. Wow, you all get hypnotized quickly. If it was a girl with him people would say : Oh look he has a new GIRLfriend.
I won’t believe it until he says he is gay.
Actually Wentsworthit, Wentworth has made numerous statements that would say that he is infact not gay. That coupled with the body language shown between Went and Luke. Would make it rather obvious, I think, that they are just friends and not a “couple.”
My psychology teacher happens to be an openly gay man. So his opinion was given from the gay perspective, which I think only gives it more credence. But I will be going to his class tonight. I would be more than happy to have him reaffirm his previous statement. If in doing so, I will appease you and maybe end this pointless string of conversation.

Some people are just in denial…like they have a chance with Wentworth. The moment I saw the pics with Luke, I just knew that he is absolutely gay. We just have to accept that fact and move on.
Man, I can’t believe how people are tearing each other up over this. It’s not a big deal, folks. Or at least, in a just world, it wouldn’t be.
I’m personally waiting for the day when pictures of Joe Celebrity and his boyfriend generate the same amount of interest as Joe Celebrity in a girlfriend: either instant apathy or a brief surge of enthusiasm followed by apathy. It may even happen in my lifetime, you never know.

ok i’m reading these posts, and some of them are saying things like. “stop denying him being gay”, or ” these fangirls are in so much denial” or “people are not paying attention to his skills as an actor” well if you really think about it, the people who started all this, are people like perez hilton who really really want him to be gay. people who are disappointed about, or are in denial of these accusations are not the ones who started all this. people out there complaining about how there is too much discussion about whether or not he is gay, and the people who say he is gay for sure, you are the people who are really making a big deal out of something that isn’t! think about it…when you see a picture of two people together..what do you think? you think oh that’s great, a picture…but these people like perez hilton make a big deal and start throwing out accusations that he must be gay!!does that make any sense?? i think it’s really funny that people are trying to be really intelligent and trying to seem “mature” about the matter by saying “get over it, he’s gay, why are you in denial” think they are acutally making any sense… what?? get over it? we are in denial? how do you even know he’s gay? stop trying to make all these big statements and trying to sound all sympathetic towards went when you don’t even know for sure! there is more evidence towards went being striaght than there is of him being gay.. am i correct? i just had to get that off of my chest… tell me if that made any sense, i tried to be as clear as possible about my point. hopefully i got it across.

Who cares whether Wentworth is gay or not? Does it really matter? JUST WATCH THE DAMN SHOW! And I personally think it’s rude to spread rumours about SOMEONE WE DON’T EVEN REALLY KNOW! He’s an ACTOR! THAT’S IT! And he just HAPPENS to be acting in a TV show we enjoy watching. His personal life has absolutely nothing to do with ANY of us!

Are you guys serious? This girl Pati made me laugh my ass off though. She is a ******. Oh and spare me the dictionary definition of ******. Personally, if he is gay, good for him, if he is not, good for him too. Either way none of you will sleep with him which would be the only reason anyone should care. I think he is a sucky actor though. But the boy has to make his money so whatever it takes to do that, including keeping a part of your life to yourself is fair game. The big point here is that sadly being gay is detrimental to an actor’s career. That my friends, is the truly sad issue here.

Well Mario, I am sorry how you feel about my using “the dictionary definition.” You see, everyone had been having a reasonably civil discussion. Until Blah decided to take it to a juvenile level, by calling me a name. I only wanted this person to know the proper definition of the word retarded. So that they would know how little sense the insult made.
And to Mel, basically with these pictures and other well, basically laughable reasons I have seen on this message board and others like it, are being used as unsubstantiated proof as to whether or not Went is gay. I would say that “I” am NOT the one who is as you say “living in denial land.” But it is rather people such as yourself, who are first refusing to take at face value what the man himself has said. Which is that he is not gay, he would one day like to have a “wife and children”, and that he prefers a “woman” with intelligence and a strong sense of self. Secondly and finally, you are taking photos and the words of people who offered no real proof of the claims they make to be fact. Rather than the made up crap that it really is. There IS someone living in “denial land.” And that would be you and others like you.
I was in denial for the longest time, (and I was CONVINCED he was straight!) but ONE look at that photo COMPLETELY CONVINCED me that this man is gay..he awkwardly smiles at the camera and walks a couple feet out of step from his friend…like he got caught red handed….WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!

Call me an idiot, call me dense, or call me naive, even. These photos do NOT prove that Wentworth is gay. IMO. My friend from Cali says that straight guys hang with gay guys all the time out west. I have to admit though, that if this happened where I live, there is no questioning it, he’d be gay, period.
These photos don’t prove a thing. I do have to admit that I now have some doubt, but until I hear from his publicist, his agent, or Wentworth himself, I don’t believe that he’s gay. :)

You guys crack me up!! Every person that is photographed with Wentworth has to be romantically involved with him LOL!!! Then everyone starts making assumptions and jumping to conclusions based on what exactly? because it sure isnt facts!
Face it, you dont know him and you’ll probably never even get to meet him, you dont know how he leads his life apart from what you see in pictures and what he chooses to tell you in interviews. He’s an actor, thats his job and thats the only thing he has to share with the public.

I am a great fan of wentworth. Though I do not fantasize having a relationship with him, I do feel disappointed to learn that he is a possible gay man. I think most of us have invested so much in the characters of Michael and Sara and somehow, the pair won’t be convincing if Went is gay. My another reaction is, what a waste! Why most hot guys are gay. This seems unfair to ladies!!
