Ryan Reynolds hypes up his upcoming movie The Nines during MTV’s Total Request Live on Tuesday in New York City. The mystery thriller tells the story of a troubled actor, a television show runner, and an acclaimed video game designer find their lives intertwining in mysterious and unsettling ways.

The Canuck cutie was also spotted carrying his suit (left) as he left his downtown hotel on Wednesday. Ryan, 30, headed uptown for a taping of Late Night with Conan O’Brien. The episode airs tonight on NBC!

The Nines opens in limited release this Friday, August 31.

I like Ryan alot!! What a pleasant surprise he is in the land of Hollywood.I want to see more of him!! In movies and in the flesh.

He for sure has that smoldering thang going on, and the icing on the cake, he is funny!! What more could we ask for?

Cute Ryan is a busy boy lately…..workin’ a lot, and dating the beautiful Scarlett Johannson. They are keepin’ it on the QT — but I have seen a few pap shots of them lately. I wonder how his old love Alanis feels about that? Maybe it will inspire her to write some moody songs on her next album. It seems to be workin’ for Miss Mandy Moore.

How do you go from Alanis to Scarlett Johannson?

Personally, in my opinion, if Alanis had a thing for him, it makes him more interesting. I love how she expresses herself through her music.Her passion comes through and that is what makes her an amazing artist.

I don’t know anything about Ryan. How long did he date Alanis?

He was dating Alanis 4 years and they were engaged 2 years - and then he left her for the Jessica Biel and now he’s with Scarlett no talent Johansson. Who’s next? Maybe Justin Timberlake…
