Samanatha Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?

Christina Applegate (Married with Children) and Barry Watson (7th Heaven) continue to shoot scenes for their upcoming ABC comedy Samantha Who?.

Applegate, who also produces, plays 30-year-old psychiatrist Samantha, who, after becoming the victim of a hit-and-run, develops amnesia and has to rediscover her life, her relationships and herself. Watson plays Todd, Jean Smart plays Regina Newly, Jennifer Esposito plays Andrea, Kevin Dunn plays Howard Newly, Melissa McCarthy plays Dena and Tim Russ plays Frank.

Tidbit: Originally, the show was named Sam I Am until ABC renamed it due to conflicts with Dr. Seuss.

hey jared, have you forgot that barry watson was also in an ABC show once before called “WHAT ABOUT BRIAN?” “7th heaven” wasn’t the only show he was in. so get your facts together jared!!

Boring.

Stupid.

She looks like crap too btw. You’re right #2 she doesn’t look 15 anymore. Which sucks. Because whether your fat old as$ likes it or not youth is sexualized. That spans every culture for a reason.

I hate to tell you toobadsooosad, but “What About Brian” is NOT coming back. Low ratings forced ABC to pull the plug and Barry Watson was lucky enough to land the pilot for “Sam I Am” in time. Then lucky again when ABC decided to pick it up. I’ve watched the previews and read a little bit about it…..I think “Samantha Who” looks like it might be funny. Good mother/daughter chemistry between Applegate and Jean Smart. We’ll have to wait and see, come October. Frankly, I think we need more funny, female-centric sitcoms on TV today!

She’s supposed to portray a 30 year old..? She’s already 36, and looks it. I give this stupid storyline three episodes.
