OlderJude Law @ Venice Film Festival
Jude Law keeps in casual in a pair of black Nike sneakers (with red swooshes) for the Sleuth photocall during Day 2 of the 64th Annual Venice Film Festival on Thursday in Venice, Italy. The British beauty was accompanied by co-star Michael Caine and director Kenneth Branagh.
In the film, on his sprawling country estate, an aging writer (Caine) matches wits with the struggling actor (Law) who has stolen his wife’s heart. Caine played the role of Milo Tindle in the original 1972 film Sleuth. In the 2007 film, Caine performs the role of Andrew Wyke, originated by Sir Laurence Olivier, and Jude performs Caine’s original role of Milo Tindle. This is the second film in which Jude performs a role originated by Caine. In the 2004 film Alfie, Jude played Caine’s career-establishing role of the title character, Alfie.
Sleuth opens in limited release on October 12.
Jude, 34, has been romantically linked to German beauty queen Susan Hoecke but his rep Sara Keene recently quashed those rumors saying, “They are just good friends and have known each other for a couple of years.”

that’s o.k. we know how you feel. any girl lucky enough to have her way with THAT man will have been to paradise and back. just looking at him makes me weak in the knees and everywhere else for that matter.
People are just so funny…some say Susan Hoecke looks too young…others said Cameron looked to old (which I personally don’t think there was anything between them but dinner, but people commented nonetheless); some say Susan is too skinny, others comment on another person he was with in the past being too fat…so screw it, Jude doesn’t have to give a s**t what we think!

OK with me. Of course I wish it could be me but that’s close to impossible so I will have to get my thrills by seeing him happy.
He looks VERY hsppy in these pictures. And I am too because most of
the news and reviews coing back from Venice now are very good. A
5-minute ovation after the premiere showing and only 2 reviews that
are not compimentary. I think he’s back wher he belongs. Such talent
and such beauty cannot be ignored. He evokes tremendous loyalty in
his fans because added to the beauty is so much admirable in his character and persoality that we love him all the more and more and
more!
