I am so sorry to hear that. You and your family will be in my prayers.

You are so right about cherishing your loved ones. Last year, I lost 3 loved ones; my brother in October, my mother-in-law in November, and my father in December. Today, my father would’ve been 66 years old. My brother was only 41 years old. He had cancer, tumors in his chest, on his kidneys, and in his head. Before he died, God took him for a while. He was in and out and after he came back in, he told my parents that he had talked to our brother that passed at the age of 8 in 1972 (before I was born), who he said is now a grown man. My mother-in-law had a similar experience. I had visited my family the day before my father passed. The last thing my father said to me was, “I LOVE you, girl!” And then he gave me some sugar and a big hug. Gosh, I miss my daddy!

I just want you to know, Jared, that right now, I know you are hurting and your heart is heavy with sadness, but please try to take comfort in knowing that your loved one is in a much better place. They are at peace, without a care in the world, just like a little happy child.
