Brad Pitt looks simply delicious in the October 2007 issue of Details magazine, as shot by noted fashion photographer Steven Klein. The Details cover boy takes a jab at heiress Paris Hilton and admits how protecting of a father and partner he really is.
On Paris Hilton and her celebrity: “This Paris Hilton quest for fame… she’s blissfully oblivious.”
On the things that scare him: “The only thing that frightens me today is something happening to my kids or something happening to Angie.”
On taking things to the limit: “Listen, I’ve always embraced extremes, so it doesn’t feel odd to me.”
Brad (and hopefully Angelina Jolie!) will make it out for Sundays’s premiere of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford at the Venice Film Festival. The entire Jolie-Pitt family arrived in town earlier today.

I think the interviewer ask him about Paris,I don`t think brad will talk about something without asking about it.

as for him being afraid only of something happening to the children or to Angie, well, we have all seen how none of those children or Angie are ever without a bodyguard.
on the issue of how close the kids seem to their bg, I think it is a good thing. I grew up with extended family around, plus servants. It seems natural and extremely healthy to me to know that you are loveable, not just to your parents but also to your aunts, uncles, cousins and nanny. That there are people who will look out for you and take care of you and you are never alone and uncared for. Despite how we frequently take the nuclear family of mum, dad and 2 kids as the only model of family and the only way to raise children, truth is, this is largely a 20 century phenomena. For thousands of years, people lived in extended family structures or tight knit village communities, where everyone knows your name.
The Jolie Pitt family live a highly nomadic life, not unlike the nomadic families which still roam over sibera, mongolia, the middle east, africa. And not unlike the way American Indian families lived just 200 years ago. Admittedly, these nomads don’t travel as fast or as far as the Jolie Pitts. But then, neither do any of these nomads have any concrete home to return to. EAch home is just a tent, to be torn down and rebuilt somewhere else. A nomads life is highly transient in its own way and full of uncertainty. if you break a leg or fall ill, it may not be easy to get to a hospital quickly. In contrast, the Jolie Pitt children have some physical anchor points. They know that though they leave their home in Santa Barbara or NO or whereever, everything will still be there when they return and they live a life of greater certainty in that help is always close by.
It seems to me that its not the place, nor the building which are important, its the people caring for the children. In Brad and Angelina’s case, one of them is always available to the children. They’ve had the same bodyguards, the same personal assistant - Holly, and perhaps, even the same nanny. Whereever possible, they travel as a family unit. Just like the nomads do and have been doing for countless generations. The nomadic children are OK and so, I believe, are the Jolie Pitt children.
One day, the Jolie Pitt family will travel less. They’ve hinted as such and so it is clearly on their minds.

Yes, he talked a lot of sweet things on his X and was always smiling and lovey-dovey in public and red carpet even though their marrriage was already crumbling since 2003. and he divorced her anyway. so this split second of picture doesn’t depict their life.

Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie trying to save the relationship with distance? The couple have separated themselves from each other and for the first time in a while and are traveling alone. The usual fare for Brangelina was to travel together and showcase the kids and their relationship for the paparazzi across the world. For now that appears to have ended.
First Pitt went solo to New Orleans to promote his pet cause of helping to rebuild New Orleans. He met with the NBC Today show and did interviews to try and bring attention to the plight of Hurricane Katrina victims two years after the catastrophe. The pair re-united in New York later that week for a fundraiser.

Angelina Jolie went back to what she does best this week and headed over to Iraq solo. Brad Pitt stayed home and played super dad. There were some great photos of Brad and his daughter Zahara as they took it easy and laid back on the grass in a park, went for an ice-cream and even took a ride on a horse carriage.
Reports now claim that Brad Pitt will join his pal George Clooney at the Venice Film Festival. Now the real test will be if Angelina tags along. Jolie is said to not trust Clooney. An earlier report from the National Enquirer cited an insider that said, “George Clooney is not exactly Angelina’s favorite person, even though he is one of Brad’s best pals.”

Where in the world is the sexy Angelina Jolie? She has lost way too much weight by her own admission and now a claim from Life & Style Magazine reports that she has to use a body double for the nude scenes in her upcoming thriller ‘Wanted.’ Has it really gotten that bad? Maybe it was for modesty now that she has four kids but a report from the weekly entertainment magazine claims that Angie’s bony figure was the reason.
The mag details this week that “Wanted” producers were forced to use a body double for one nude scene, in which Angie shares a bathtub with costar James McAvoy. “She’s kind of wasted away, Angie’s friend tells the magazine.

#232, you don’t need to post this story, L/S had been repeating “the relationship was under strain ” ” Brad can’t take it anymore” blah, blah… for almost 3 years. Was Brad under house arrest by Angie ? or been kidnapped by Angie ? ( even the Taliban have already released the Korean hostage after 21 days) Brad taken as Angie’s hostage was sure the longest or under some voodoo spell by Angie ? Brad have been in several relations before, if the relation was not working, he would terminated it., just like the way he dump Maniston, they were even legally bond. Brad Pitt doesn’t say much, because he wants to keep his private life private. He is going to be forty-four in December, he has a family. When he is being asked serious questions, I’m sure he gives serious answers that come from his heart.

I love Steven Klein. His collaborations with Brad and Madonna are always outstanding. He never ceases to surprise me. He is truly a visionary and one of the most interesting artists of this generation.
MediaWeek has a lead for our blind item conundrum. The newsstand rate for In Touch and Life & Style will go up from $1.99 to $2.99. Funny, we thought the whole appeal of those magazines was that they cost about as much as a Vitamin Water.
Five other Bauer publications will also raise their newsstand prices.
Where does that leave our poll? Betting on Radar failing always has good odds, and In Touch or Life & Style might not qualify as a “new glossy.”

Since I haven’t read the article it’s just speculation but Brad’s reference to Paris Hilton seems to read more as a descriptive phrase than a personal commentary on her. It says a Paris Hilton quest for fame as in that type of behavior - seeking fame for fame itself not as a byproduct of achievement. He may even just mean that crazy level of fame Hilton has. I think the oblvious part of his comment may be referring to Angelina. That she is oblivious to all this level of fame or perhaps the continually fabricated gossip swirling around her as she lives her life and raises her family.
That’s my speculative read on the excerpt.
