Brad Pitt - “Details” October 2007

Brad Pitt looks simply delicious in the October 2007 issue of Details magazine, as shot by noted fashion photographer Steven Klein. The Details cover boy takes a jab at heiress Paris Hilton and admits how protecting of a father and partner he really is.

On Paris Hilton and her celebrity: “This Paris Hilton quest for fame… she’s blissfully oblivious.”

On the things that scare him: “The only thing that frightens me today is something happening to my kids or something happening to Angie.”

On taking things to the limit: “Listen, I’ve always embraced extremes, so it doesn’t feel odd to me.”

Brad (and hopefully Angelina Jolie!) will make it out for Sundays’s premiere of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford at the Venice Film Festival. The entire Jolie-Pitt family arrived in town earlier today.

Hi I loved the video, before this thread gets so big that my question gets lost what kind of software are you using to make it?. I have made a few videos of my family but I have not been successful in adding the writing like you did. I want to make a similar video for my granddaughter and I want to write the story with the pictures. I asked MF about 5 threads ago (cause she makes great videos, I have watch most of them) I know how to set them to music but no titles or credits. I also would like to know where you get the themes(how the pictures flow from frame to frame) I have a few that came with my program and have looked on a web site or two but, I haven’t seen any as nice as the one you just used and the ones MF uses on her videos. Thank you ladies for any help.

Hello, um, well you may not know me. I also make vids for Brad and Angelina. I would be more than happy to help you. I know you asked Preggy, and believe me her vids are amazing, but since she isn’t here at the moment I love to give some advice or tips. I don’t know if you like my vids so I am gonna share one with you. This is not my new one, but one that everyone likes and my new video did get an honor on youtube but for you, something more romantic.

Its called Brad & Angelina - Forever. I love the song.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMETckRmTe8

If you like that then here is some pointers for you. The software I use is called Windows Movie Maker 2. In order to use this you must use Windows software, like Windows XP or any of the newer versions.

It doesn’t sound like you have Windows Movie Maker, if you did the setup is very easy. You can download it at the Mircosoft website.

Although mine came with the laptop so I am not a %100 on that. So when ever you see this, I would be more than happy to help you out.

I learn fast. Just look at my very first video and compare it to the ones I make now. I think they improved dramatically. I haven’t even been doing this that long.

So I would love to share all the things I learned. I have done some research, hit the video making forums, gotten some really cool software, and I have really nice pics thanks to the lovely Jared and the amazing fans.

The important thing to remember is to just let it flow. Feel whatever it is that you wanna make. Have the message you want to portray in mind. All of my vids have been inspired by something. The vid I put up for you to watch was made more for the few viewers I have than something I was inspired to do, but you know what? My viewers do inspire me. I wouldn’t do make videos if it wasn’t for them. Although I have a very very very very small number of them. I love you guys.

The music to me is key in the making process. The right song lifts you up and gives you that drive you need to go forth. I listen to every song I use like a million times. So when I put the vid and the images I use in the film maker I know they come from a place the words can touch, will touch the viewers.

I am a Leo and I have a huge ego, comes with being born under my sign. So I will tell you, I think every video I make is a masterpiece.

I am humble enough to know when someone else does great work and I just fall flat.

I have often been disappointed in my work because…it just isn’t good enough.

I think I am way off…topic. I need to know if you use Windows Movie Maker or not, then we can start from there.

Anyway please ask for whatever help you need, or if you rather get help from someone sane I totally wouldn’t blame you. There are some amazing video makers here (Preggy-Jolie, Missouri Fan) and I know they can help you.

:)

I am so excited and cannot wait to see these two gorgeousness rock the red carpet in VFF.

it is rumor, same **** as BP star in Dirty Trick with GP.

some very interesting photos and thoughtful answers- so sweet of him for the ‘what scared him the most’ part.

Oh yes, the press in Singapore are very kind to them, I have never read a bad press about them before.

Just 2-3 days ago, part of the Heroes cast were here and there is this article that wrote “With such an attendance by the press from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, you would think Brad Pitt is in town”.

Twice when they featured photos of Brad Pitt and Angie, they listed them as Brad Pitt and wife.

Also on a travel page, they mentioned Angie’s UN trips encourages travellers to travel to remote countries to do voluntary work

The press here doesn’t hound celebrities in the same way as in the US….we don’t allow press photographers into the airport so if Brad and family were to come here and stay in the Airport Transit Hotel, I think we probably have to bribe the employees at the airport for photographs or just buy airtickets so you can hang around the airport lounges for glimpses of them.

200 LOVE ANGELINA : 09/02/2007 at 2:28 am

Thanks LOVE ANGELINA. I guess senior missed my comments to her
I mentioned your name to that post that you are one of the master video maker I’m still a newbie to that. The reason I would like her to send the message to the Youtube inbox is I will refer her to you. I’m glad you volunteered.
I learned from asking jolie4ever, angelah and others I met in the Youtube. I almost give up doing it. My husband helps putting song in my computer who knows where is he getting it. I’ll tell him the song and he just load in my computer. While angelah was on vacation I’m so greatful you answers my questions. You are very helpful young lady like jolie4ever and angelah. I’m very proud of you too!
Thanks!!

Can the quote about the only thing he fears is something happening to his kids or to Angie FINALLY put to rest the trolls who insist BP is unhappy with Jolie???
*******************************************************

LOL of course not! They will say he only made that statement for PR purposes. You don’t have to let their stupidity get to you, though, if you don’t want it to.

(P.S. People, please do not confuse me with jill. I’m Jill with a capital J.)

A guide to the Toronto International Film Festival Jay Stone, CanWest News Service

Published: Saturday, September 01, 2007
The Toronto International Film Festival starts Sept. 6, showing 349 films over its 11-day run. It also attracts hundreds of movie stars, thousands of journalists and hundreds of thousands of viewers, most of whom wind up in front of me in line.

How can you organize yourself? Here with, one man’s guide:

Top five movies by intriguing title:

http://a123.g.akamai.net/f/123/12465/1d/media.canada.com/8975269b-0529-4353-a446-

Brad Pitt makes a funny face for photographers during a press conference for the movie ‘Babel’ at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2006. He’s set to return to the film fest this month.

Glory To The Filmmaker! (Takeshi Kitano, Japan)
Young People ******* (Martin Gero, Canada)
My Brother Is An Only Child (Daniele Luchetti, Italy)
The Pope’s Toilet (Enrique Fernandes and Cesar Charlone, Uruguay/Brazil/France)
Heavy Metal in Baghdad (Eddy Moretti and Suroosh Alvi, Canada/USA)

Top five people it would be cool to talk to:

Woody Allen: The director everyone wants to work with. He’s not doing much press, but he’s due in town with his new movie, Cassandra’s Dream, with Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell as troubled brothers who fall in love with the same woman.

Jimmy Carter: The former U.S. president and his wife Rosalynn will be at a screening of the Larry Charles documentary Jimmy Carter Man From Plains, and will be interviewed in a public forum by Allan Gregg about their activism work.

Ian McEwan: The British author whose books have been turned into intriguing art films (The Cement Garden, Endless Love) arrives with Atonement, with Keira Knightley in a story of love lost in the years of the Second World War.

Manoel de Oliveira: The Portuguese master is, at 98, the world’s oldest working filmmaker. He will will present his just-completed new movie, Christopher Columbus: The Enigma.

Lou Reed: The ultimately hip New York rocker is in Toronto with Julian Schnabel’s film Lou Reed’s Berlin, a documentary of a live concert version of his 1973 concept album.

Top five celebrities you would want to be able to tell your neighbours you saw:

George Clooney: Hollywood’s reigning hunk (middle-aged division) stars in Michael Clayton, a drama about a lawyer suffering a crisis of conscience.

Brad Pitt: Still sexy after all these years, Mr. Angelina Jolie appears in The Assassination of Jessie James By The Coward Robert Ford, which almost made it into the Top Five Intriguing Titles.

Cate Blanchett: She’s smart, she’s beautiful, she’s in two of the most promising of the festival films: Elizabeth: The Golden Age, a sequel to Elizabeth, and I’m Not There, in which she’s one of the performers playing an aspect of Bob Dylan — one of the few working musicians still to have aspects.

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams: He’s the former Mousketeer from Cornwall, Ont., who has become one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, although his new film, Lars and The Real Girl (a man falls in love with his sex doll) may be a particular challenge. She’s the rising star from London, Ont., who has been linked with Gosling since they co-starred in The Notebook. Her festival film, Married Life, is about a married man who wonders if he should divorce his wife or kill her.

Jodie Foster: The gifted actress carefully guards her private life - outwaiting the tabs, which seem to have lost interest in speculating about her sexuality - and appears in only a few films. Her new one, The Brave One, is the story of a woman out for revenge after she is attacked in Central Park.

Five most promising titles come Oscar time:

Elizabeth: The Golden Age: Cate Blanchett won the Oscar in 1998 for playing Elizabeth. In this sequel, she falls in love with Sir Walter Raleigh (Clive Owen). Regal heartbreak ensues.

Michael Clayton: George Clooney works for a law firm as a “fixer” who must face the truth of what he has become. Ethical conundrums ensue.

Rendition: One of several post-9/11 movies of the fall, this one stars Reese Witherspoon as a woman whose Egyptian-born husband is held at a secret CIA detention centre. Interrogation ensues.

No Country For Old Men: The Coen Brothers version of the Cormac McCarthy novel, which excited crowds in Cannes, stars Josh Brolin as a man who steals drug money and is hunted down by Javier Bardem. Bloodshed ensues.

Reservation Road: One of several vigilante movies of the fall, this one concerns the death of a child in a hit-and-run accident. The all-star cast includes Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Connelly and Mira Sorvino. An Oscar campaign will ensue.

Best reasons to root for the Canadian film industry:

L’Age Des Tenebres: This social satire from Denys Arcand - the closing-night movie at the Cannes film festival - is about a Quebec civil servant whose fantasy life makes him a great lover and bold knight.

Eastern Promises: David Cronenberg’s new movie stars Viggo Mortensen as a Russian gangster in London and Naomi Watts as a nurse investigating the death of a teenage prostitute.

Emotional Arithmetic: The festival’s closing-night movie, directed by Paolo Barzman, is the story of three friends who survived an interment camp during the Second World War. It stars Susan Sarandon, Gabriel Byrne, Max Von Sydow and Christopher Plummer.

Fugitive Pieces: The festival’s opening-night movie, directed by Jeremy Podeswa, is based on the Anne Michaels bestseller about a man haunted by his childhood in wartime Poland.

Just gossip from UK tabloid, inaccurate as usual, but cute nevertheless.

Brangelina are serener

After a stormy ride in the past few months, it appears Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally sailing in calmer waters.

The couple, dubbed Brangelina, were all smiles as they enjoyed a gondola ride in Venice with one-year-old daughter Shiloh - who has her mum’s famous pout - adopted Zahara, two, and step-brother six-year-old Maddox.

Angelina, 32, and Brad, 43 - reported to have had a series of rows over their kids - are at the Venice Film Festival for Brad’s new film The Assassination of Jesse James.

Ace Tomato, great comment. Krungkrung #104, my computer does the same thing every so often recently. I don’t know why it shows that page when I click to go to the next page. BTW, I am waiting for red carpet pictures too. Goodnight loyal fans. Thanks a million JJ.

Channel 322 of satellite tv sky is where you can see the red carpet in Venice, today at 8.30 p.m.

What is wrong with http://bafans.invisionzone.com/ It’s not working.

Nevermind it works now.

Lastly, Thanks Jared for the new pictures of Brad.

OMG what nice photoshop pictures

He looks great and so young… But I think PH isn’t worth commenting… May be he was really asked to comment on her? Steven Klein makes such interesting photos! The beautiful video of Jolie-Pitts! Have seen it yesterday and really liked it!

why you think everything he says is true and come from his heart.it is just one sentence.he said nice things about his X too.even in cannes he talked about little jen so what?according to people he was the person who didn`t want children in his past relationship.so you want to believe those?
I believe their picture talk for itself, they are not happy and they are not talking with each other they are not even attracting to each other lately.so why we don`t want to believe they have problems.

and ofcourse today in red carpet they willsmile and they will show you how much they love each other, but who is that much idiot to believe photo in redcarpet can tell somebody is happy or not.

221 truth hurt

1.they are just photo, what is the difference between photo out and in redcarpet.in both of them they are aware of camera.

2.go and check your archive if you have one even in the begining of their relationship we never saw them very attractive to each other,in almost three years we just saw them 3 times kissing and no one of them were clear.

3.about happy or not happy common they just came out of airplane of 8 or more hours flight.they are tired what do you expect?even in past photo in airport you never saw them smile to papz.

4.you are the same person who said why brad doesn`t talk about angie in his interview like he did about his EX.naw that he talked you are saying he told lie.he is not living his life according to you.and about his sentences he didn`t say some extraordinay things in it,normal people care about people who they live with.

and they are his kids even if angie and brad split ,they will remain his kids so it is very natural to say this.and I can tell you for sure that sentence come from his heart and you can understand that from his actions.hr traveled to chicago to just make his family settle down while he could stay in LA to do his work then join his family but he cares about his kids and his familymore than himself.it is so obvious.

extremes ? he lives a luxury lifetyle not an extremist one. It seems this photo is airbrushed or he has had a lot of facial surgery.
