Fashion Faceoff: Phillip Lim Dress

Britney Spears gave us more in a pure white Phillip Lim dress at the grand opening of LAX nightclub in Las Vegas early Saturday morning. The pop princess finished off her look with YSL “Tribute” platforms and a fedora.

Lauren Conrad wore the same halter bubble dress in black at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood party in Hollywood late April. The Hills star completed her look with a pair of peep-toe pumps by Steve Madden.

Rihanna also stayed basic in black at singer pal Chris Brown’s “Off The Wall” 18th birthday party in early May. The Barbados babe sexed up her look with a pair of leopard-print pumps by Christian Louboutin.

Who wears it best — LAUREN CONRAD or BRITNEY SPEARS or RIHANNA?

1. Lauren - length is perfect, hair half-up/half down show cases the neckline, and the black peep-toes keep the look feminine and sweet.

2. Rihanna - same great length, hair also showcases neckline, and the leopard preint heels give the same look a bit edgier.

(These two both acessorized in sync with their personalities and both win for having their own sense of style.)

3. Brit - length - too short, hair overwhelms, and the shows are heavy and detract from the hemline — drawing attention to quite awful legs. And the Fedora with sewn in wig?

Style = working what your Mama gave you with a little bit of chic.

R*I*H*A*N*N*A, people! Rihanna almost always looks good (and interesting/original); Conrad is a pretty girl but kind of generic/dull; and Britney has never looked attractive (except to some men, in the most primitive way - hah!) in terms of style/fashion. The end. ;)

I go with LC because she is drop dead gorgeous a mixture of christine taylor and carmen electra. Plus, she has great personal style that reflects her classy personality.

Then, Rihanna. She pretty also and has a very in your face style.

Brit looks cute in the dress(big fan here) but honestly you need to be super skinny to wear this dress. Brit has been looking good but she’s not super skinny, her body naturally has those great curves. And on Rihanna, the dress is just OK, not good but not bad either.

I like it best on LC. Maybe it is her posture but the dress looks more chic on her. I think Rihanna’s heels are cheesy but otherwise she looks nice. Britney looks like a mess. She looks better than usual but she is still a mess.

It’s funny how some of these Britney fans keep posting that she won.

I’d say it is a tie between LC and Rihanna, but I like LC shoes better. Britney shouldn’t even be in the running because she looks horrible compared to Rihanna and LC. But she looks better than she usually does I guess.

Britney’s legs are too fat and I really don’t like that hat she’s wearing… Both Lauren and Rihanna look very gorgeous in the black dress. This time I’ll vote for Rihanna because I liked her shoe better.

this is how i would rate the starlets:

Lauren-very femine and has that classic and clean look; very much like her personal style. (Pretty)

Britney-what can i say Britney’s-britney and always the attention catcher, stands out;much like herself. (Wild)

Rihanna-sharp,kinda gives you that bam! feeeling when one see’s those wild pumps,very stylish and fashion forward. (Trendy)

outta of the trio i would have to say lauren or rihanna wore it the best, i stuck between pretty and classy/stylish and trendy. but britney got more attention when i first saw this, cause she’s BRITNEY!

Does Britney EVER win when it comes to fashion? No. First of all, the fedora looks ridiculous with her straight bleach-blonde coloured mermaid looking wig. Not to mention, if you’re a little heavy, don’t wear white. Black is slimming. And if you’re going to wear a white dress, don’t pair it with black shoes. And another thing, if you’re still a tad chunky, it’s best not to wear a balloon dress that’ll make you look ten times fatter than you are. Chris, this girl knows NOTHING about fashion it’s sad.
