Charlize Theron slips into a featherduster dress by Versace and joins Canadian director Paul Haggis at the In the Valley Of Elah premiere during day 4 of the 64th Venice Film Festival on Saturday in Venice, Italy.
A gorgeous feather duster at that!!!
In the Valley of the Elah “focuses on the psychological scars that haunt returning soldiers and provides a powerful commentary on how society is treating veterans and their families.” Charlize, 32, plays a New Mexico police detective drawn into the investigation.

Very pretty woman. She really aims for the grand couture look a lot. It’s a hit or miss but at least she tries. Most actresses dress the red carpet as if they are going to a banquet of insurance salesmen.

That dress is hideous! And it makes her look thick around the middle like she has no waist. Normally you can count on Theron to wear something stunning…just not so stunningly ugly.

it looks like they took the top half of one dress and the bottom half of another and put them together. lol she’s the only women in Hollywood that gets a pass for having a not so impressive body. very odd body, but her heavenly face and amazing talent makes up for it.
she’s going to age great. she’ll be one of those hot old chicks with a lot of wrinkles, who refuses to get plastic surgery. and that’s going to make her even hotter.
I agree about aging beautifully. Jared I was ready to fuss at you for making fun of her dress but actually it’s a little feather duster-ish. She’s so tall and carries herself regally. She usually goes a little edgy with the fashion but I’d rather see what she’s wearing than all the high school football banquet dresses. I hope she doesn’t go for the cosmetic surgery. She’s one of the last normal looking celebrities.

This dress is doing nothing for her figure. A skirt like this need to be balanced with a small waist and bigger bust. Thin just dosen’t cut it. I thought she would have a better understanding of her own body shape considering her background in fashion.

Charlize is fabulous, but I don’t like the dress.
You can tell from Charlizes’ arms that she has a thin figure, but look how thick-waisted and dumpy that dress is making her look. The colour is also dull.
Given Charlizes’ super model looks and figure, that she would chose such an ugly and ill-fitting dress is a little puzzling.
