Charlize Theron slips into a featherduster dress by Versace and joins Canadian director Paul Haggis at the In the Valley Of Elah premiere during day 4 of the 64th Venice Film Festival on Saturday in Venice, Italy.

A gorgeous feather duster at that!!!

In the Valley of the Elah “focuses on the psychological scars that haunt returning soldiers and provides a powerful commentary on how society is treating veterans and their families.” Charlize, 32, plays a New Mexico police detective drawn into the investigation.

She has always had the confidence to wear more than the “safe little black dress” and she looks beautiful. Not afraid of going a little more high fashion that other celebrities, and for that, I applaud her.

She looks amazing!

Charlize is fabulous, but I don’t like the dress.

You can tell from Charlizes’ arms that she has a thin figure, but look how thick-waisted and dumpy that dress is making her look. The colour is also dull.

Given Charlizes’ super model looks and figure, that she would chose such an ugly and ill-fitting dress is a little puzzling.

I can’t agree that this dress is “unique”. To me, it’s just plain ugly.

she is the whole package, so beautiful, talented and elegant.

that dress is wrong for her body type.. upper part is way too low cut on the sides, it makes her torso look much too wide..

gorgeous face but the gown is not working on her. it elongates her upper body too much. but afterall, charlize has been known for her dramatic style…remember the big bow grey dress she wore to the oscars?

anyway charlize your dress is incredibly beautiful and unique a real piece of haute couture and we all students designers are just downs hands face to that beauty wow ! oh and you are getting beautiful and beautiful and i agree with some poster who said that your place is with the actresses of the golden age the anorexic whores of nowadays can’t even get close to the 0.000009 of your class, elegance, beauty and talent .

OMG you people have no sense of fashion whatsoever. That dress is gorgeous. It’s couture. I guess you only like boring plain satin dresses, anything artsy and couture you think equals ugly. Whatever that dress is amazing and ofcourse I think Charlize Theron is the most beautiful woman in hollywood. Not Angelina Jolie. Charlize looks like a real movie star and she can act her ass off. Charlize has the prettiest face in hollywood most definitely.
