Of all the smart, beautiful women in the world Matt could get, he picks this bartender. I can’t even call her pretty. Matt is super smart - he went to Harvard and he winds up with this women who poured drinks for a living…I don’t get it. Is this marriage for real?

Wow this couple has been on more red carpet the past two months than anyone. They are on a world tour of The Bourne Ultimatum but really, it’s a hit all over. Why do you still need to promote it? Congrats to Matt on that film even though he said he hated doing it, LOL!!!!

I love Matt, but his wife is not pretty. Her eyes are too far apart and her gummy smile is gross. But she must have a nice personality if he married her. And I’m sure her pregnancy helped move the marriage along.

Lucy is a beautiful woman and clearly Matt adores her. They’ve been together for four years and have a child together for heaven’s sake. She is always dressed appropriately for these events and doesn’t try to overshadow her hubby. Matt may need a stylist but I imagine that will happen when pigs fly. More power to him for not kowtowing to the image makers. He’s an actor not a “movie star.” Also who the hell knows how smart Lucy is?? Some of the posts really surprise me. So if you are a waitress or bar tender you don’t have brains? What classist attitude!! When I was in graduate school many of us did waitressing to help pay for school. And some of the brightest people I know had to do bar tendering and such for a living because life circumstances such as single parenthood put them in that place.

To say that a bar tender is not worth a Harvard educated man…and you call yourselves American?

So luciana may not be the prettiest girl around but she just has a cool attitude and seems like a nice person and that’s probably why matt fell in love with her. It takes a lot more than looks to have a successful relationship. Looks get old very quickly and its what’s inside that matters in the end.

Yes, there were pictures of all of them together in Hawaii w/ the step-daughter. Other pictures of him and the step daughter and their own daughter and his mother have been shown on this blog. And Matt even said they bought a place in New York so the step-daughter could see her own father who is still in her life. She probably has visitation times w/ him. All these stupid judgements are absurd.

I don’t care what his wife looks like, Matt seems very happy with her and that’s what’s important. I’m not a big fan of his and don’t go to any of his movies but he’s one of the few celebrities who stays out of the spotlight unless the photogs catch a few pics with him and his family. He seems like a nice guy who’s making a huge effort to keep his family together all the time. Give him a break! At least he’s not keeping the family tucked at home while he’s out fooling around afterhours from making movies like all the other celebs seem to do!

I agree with the above comments about Lucy being a big titted gold digger. Matt has become highly arrogant in recent years and has unfortunately been influenced by George Clooney. Matt is ugly but smart and has sold himself short by marrying this ugly AND stupid woman who’s vocation seems to be getting herself knocked up.

For the record, ignorant Americans, if Lucy is from Argentina she is most likely white, as the population in Argentina is overwhelmingly white, mainly of Spanish and Italian descent, due to the fact that there were very few slaves in the country and the indian tribes were scattered around, and the influx of immigrants from Europe in the latter half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Contrary to what was said in an earlier post, her suntanned skin does not look mulatto. Also I think she is a very attractive girl, far more so than Matt.

She seems like a plain and simple girl, maybe Damon is like most guys, they want to feel superior to their partner. Better looking more successfull and so on.. then they feel safe.

How with all the bartenders in the world did he pick this one. When they first started dating, her old bar mgr said she was a great mother. She is never with them except for a few pics here and there. I have only seen Matt holding the baby in France. she is a really cool chick, and i know for a fact that she’s not just some gold digger. she didn’t even know who the hell he was when he tried to pick up on her at the bar she worked at. she’s totally the opposite of hollywood star-struck people like we all are on this site.

i’ve been told, by my friends who still keep in touch with her and have hung out with her and matt, that he’s a very down-to-earth guy and that they’re genuinely in love.

#7, I agree, of all the people to marry he marries a bartender, a lot of successful men do not care how bright a woman is as long as she is appealing to him physically. Look at Trump, he has married couple of bimbos with the exception of his first wife Ivana who was a terrific business woman, that is why he dumped her for a dumb blonde named Marla Maples. Just as Good – a Weekend with Matt
It was all about Matt Damon for us this weekend at CTV – we partnered to present a special screening of his documentary Running the Sahara on Saturday afternoon, we hosted the Running the Sahara afterparty at 299 Queen West that night, and we were one of the sponsors on Sunday night at the OnexOne gala at the Four Seasons Centre.

Please know that Matt Damon is amazing. I still don’t quiver but I am now a big fan. Matt is gracious and generous - qualities that that cow Charlize Theron doesn’t share. More on that later.

For now…about Matt. First the philanthropy.

Running the Sahara is a passion project. A film about three dudes who decide to run across the desert and raise funds for clean water in Africa. Matt narrated and produced and he wants to sell the movie so he brought it to TIFF.

Like the best of them in the game – like George Clooney, like the Pitts – Matt understands he is the product. He understands that we will buy if he sells well.

And so he arrived to the theatre on time on Saturday afternoon, a bloody hot one in Toronto. eTalk was the first to interview him on the carpet. He had a great firm handshake, his publicist wasn’t in my face like a hawk, he kept talking even when he was prompted to keep going to the next journalist, he wanted to make sure I understood his level of commitment to his causes.

Then he proceeded to stop for every outlet on the carpet, in the blistering hot sun, sweat pouring down his face, but a smile at the ready for each person. This may not seem like a big deal – it’s only appropriate professional behaviour, right? Wrong. You’d be amazed at how many of them just don’t get it. Like that hag Charlize Theron. More on that later.

Back to Matt – same thing last night when we talked at OnexOne. He spent close to 45 minutes on the carpet. He posed for photos, he waved to the fans, he answered questions, he was lighthearted and fun and always always poking fun at his best friend Ben Affleck. Love, love, love.

And now here are the romantic smutty details. Luciana was with him the entire way. On Saturday at the Running the Sahara screening, they pulled up in a jaguar – they were both sitting in the back seat.

Now you know in any car, especially a jag, three people can fit comfortably round back. No one likes to sit on the middle hump. There was only the two of them, his publicist had arrived earlier. But Luciana was sitting in the middle. They wanted to sit closely together. Cute, non?

He got out first, helped her out. And now that I’ve seen her, standing 5 feet away from her, I can tell you 100% no question: Luciana is beautiful. She is beautiful. Our entire crew was amazed at how beautiful.

It’s true – she does not photograph well. But in person, her pregnancy glow is stunning. Yes. Pregnancy glow. Skin is even toned and perfect, the sweetest humble smile, content to fade away, and a kind word for everyone.

Both of them, in fact, are fantastically friendly. We were all at a party for the movie that night and they mingled with the crowd, Matt happily took photos with fans, Luciana chilled out beside him. But while they’re not horny and porny like the Pitts, they do have their moments.

All along the carpet, Matt was conscious of where she was, making sure to check on her every few minutes and they made eye contact often. Every time he nudged forward, he’d pat her bum…not in an erotic way, but just like – ok honey, keep moving, I’m right here.

Totally warm and fuzzy without being annoying…definitely a suitable alternative if Pitt Porn isn’t your thing.

It amazes me every time i come across anything american.You prove to the world time and time again what a nation of idiots, bigots and racists you are. Marriage is a union between two people that love each other with the vison and stability to provide a stable environment for the upbringing of a family if they so wish. While appearance is a factor to most people it is not everything as many other factors such as companionship, love, desire, loyalty frindship and so on create the attration to one another.

in my opinion she is beautiful. Regardless whether you agree or not is irrelevant. Education has nothing to do with it either. THe USA can hardly pride itself on educational excellence when most americans can’t tell where europe is or iraq for that matter(a recent cnn poll).

What is wrong here is you see a hispanic girl with a kid. To you ‘white’ americans they are dirt. perhaps you should look closer at yourself, your own personal fortunes or misfortunes, your own beauty or lack of, who you have in your life or ask your self why you dont have anyone. And remember being ‘white ‘ does not make you intellectually superior or in any other form.

Ask yourelf carefully what makes you believe you are any better. I don’t care to much for M.Damon, his wife, other actors etc, but i do find it disgusting when you put somebody down because she doesn’t have US denntures, has a kid from a previous marriage, is not white has no wealth like Damon and barended.
