Grey’s Anatomy cum Private Practice star Kate Walsh married movie executive Alex Young on Saturday.
Kate, 39, wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown to the ceremony, where she exchanged vows with Alex, 36. The wedding was held at Ojai Presbyterian Church in the town of Ojai north of Los Angeles and the reception was held at Spanish-style estate Ojai Valley Inn & Spa’s Casa Elar.
Guests included Grey’s co-stars Katherine Heigl (with fiance Josh Kelley), Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez (she was in the wedding party) and Justin Chambers (with wife Keisha), as well as the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes. Also in the mix were The O.C.’s Tate Donovan, actress Kate Beckinsale and her director hubby Len Wiseman.
According to People, a gospel choir sang “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts at the beginning of the ceremony.

The bride looks like she doesn’t want to be there and in the photos where she is actually smiling, it looks fake. Her dress is mediocre at best and couldn’t she have done more with her hair and make-up. She looks blah! I don’t know what the fuss is over her anyway.

everyone who thinks they know whats going on inside kates head really need to sort yourselves out! you know nothing about her or alex and as far as i can see and they are as in love as you can be.you are all cynics too. who ever said timing had anything do to with love. when you meet the right person you just know. if they knew they were going to spend the rest of their lives together what the hell would it matter if they got married 2 months or 2 years later.
but on a ligher note, the whole wedding looks gorgeous. the venue was stunning, kate was as gorgeous as always and alex is actually looking pretty handsome. i love how every bridesmaid dress is a little different, kate your giving me ideas here girl! im so happy for her and i have every faith their marriage will work and last. i wish them all the happiness and love in the world.
Wow the bridesmaid dresses are actually better than the wedding gown. That gown was bad for custom made i mean it looks like something someone wore in the 1950’s.

Wow,there sure are a lot of haters here. I don’t get it. Who cares? I don’t particularly care one way or the other about Kate Walsh, I only looked at these because I like looking at wedding dresses (don’t care for hers, btw).
And #19, Dina - perhaps Kate Beckinsale is at Kate Walsh’s wedding because they are FRIENDS?

I almost meant to add this to my comment above (#94). Anyone who thinksthat because they didn’t date that long, they are doomed doesn’t know what they are talking about. A month after meeting my husband, we moved in together. We’ve now been married almost 19 years. Unless you are Kate Walsh and/or Alex Young, you know NOTHING about their relationship.
