Grey’s Anatomy cum Private Practice star Kate Walsh married movie executive Alex Young on Saturday.
Kate, 39, wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown to the ceremony, where she exchanged vows with Alex, 36. The wedding was held at Ojai Presbyterian Church in the town of Ojai north of Los Angeles and the reception was held at Spanish-style estate Ojai Valley Inn & Spa’s Casa Elar.
Guests included Grey’s co-stars Katherine Heigl (with fiance Josh Kelley), Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez (she was in the wedding party) and Justin Chambers (with wife Keisha), as well as the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes. Also in the mix were The O.C.’s Tate Donovan, actress Kate Beckinsale and her director hubby Len Wiseman.
According to People, a gospel choir sang “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts at the beginning of the ceremony.

I look at her face and it seems she doesn’t know that this is supposed to be a happy day. The groom looks happier than she does. He appears to be coaxing her into being happy. Not a good way to begin a relationship. She appears to be pretending; only able to fake a smile when the official photographer dictates it.
She recently said she had a bridezilla moment about something to do with the wedding. I wonder if she is unhappy because something didn’t go off as planned. If this is so, she had better learn quickly that not everything in life goes as we plan. This is a lesson she should try to learn quickly if this marriage produces children; or lasts long enough to produce children.
I think he’ll last about a year with this seemingly unhappy woman. She looks like one of those women always looking for something to argue about, unable to see the happy side of life. I wonder what her family background is.
I think Kate looks like someone who is overwhelmed by emotion. She must have had her high during the ceremony itself and looks exhausted. Not because something is amiss but because the ceremony was her emotional moment.
Now Alex looks like he won the lottery, at the races and big time in Vegas all in the same day. No woman would have second thoughts with a guy that looks at her like that.
A wedding can be very draining emotionally, those pictures caught Kate whe she was still taking it in and recovering.
I think it is so ******* amazing all that you think you can tell how a person is feeling. What the **** do you know and who the hell gives a flying ****? Are you all two years old that does not understand how stressful a wedding is, especially when you have ******* helicopters flying above you. Im not even married or have ever had a wedding and I get it. My gosh, people’s stupidity amazes me and I find it quite amusing. Thanks for the laughs ********.
Kate looks gorgeous! She is obviously overcome with emotion at the moment. People cry at weddings ya know, tears of joy.
In fact, in the Entertainment tonight article, it was reported that Kate was so emotional she had to take a moment before reciting the vows.

Now on to the lecture because I read all of these posts and I have had enough. To those of you who think Kate does not look happy, I must ask: Can you read her mind? I have examined these photos and while she doesn’t have a smile plastered on her face I wouldn’t be too quick to judge that she isn’t happy.She looks overwhelmed.Weddings are overwhelming especially for the bride!Perhaps she is overwhelmed because she has just seen the unwanted paps at her wedding.Perhaps she is thinking about her father who could not be there because he died when she was 22. She also looks deep in thought as if someone is talking to her and she is listening carefully.Let’s also not forget the paps enjoy taking the photos that they know will lead to gossip(ie:the times when the bride does not have a toothy grin).

There’s a helicopter circling their wedding, if that wouldn’t put any of you a little off on your big day, I don’t know. Not to mention the stress and emotions that comes with a wedding! They both look STUNNING (love her dress!) and of course they’re in love, why marry someone your not in love with??? There’s tons of candids of them holding hands and kissing around the net. Weddings can be stressful, that is true. But it is the duty of the wedding party and the photographers to get the bride perked up. I broke my right foot two days before the wedding, couldn’t wear shoes making me look a bit heavier in my dress, on strong pain killers to get through the function and limped all the way to the alter. Still my wedding party, especcially the groom’s men and the photgrapher kept making jokes and cracking me up. My photos are full of me laughing hard, being happy. My kids just love to see the video and mummy and daddy laughing silly.
