On-and-off-screen couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens look like tween royalty at the European premiere of High School Musical 2 at London’s O2 Arena on Sunday.
Vanessa paired her stunning strapless floor-grazing gown by Trina Turk with silver Prada mules while Zac wore his pride for London with a navy jacket with a UK flag inner-lining (aka Union Jack jacket).
Zac, 19, recently told People he can’t remember the first time kissing Vanessa, 18.
“I truly didn’t realize that there was not a kiss. It never stuck out to me,” he says.
V recalls there was a kiss, but “on the cheek [and] that’s as far as we got.”
“You guys, your memories are failing you,” director/choreographer Kenny Ortega said Friday at a press conference in London to promote High School Musical 2. “I went to their parents and asked for permission. I went to Vanessa’s mom first, and then to Zac’s mom second and said, ‘Do you mind if I request a kiss in the event that we want to use it for the end of the film?’ And we did it. Then, we all sort of decided that this wasn’t about that.”
“You seemed to enjoy it though,” Ortega said to Zac, who blushed but didn’t deny the comment. (The kiss never made the cut for the first film.)

LOL, I love ya Shusha, and agree (except it’s V’s fake giggle and voice that grate on me personally) but I have a feeling the Zanessa tweens are like ava who? merv who? lol. Maybe we should say Zanessa as much a “couple” as Tom and Katie are.

Aaaahhh! I was there! Best day ever! Just because of this lil candid moment, after watching the movie, me and my friend we’re walking by this one room and there was zanessa!!! They were sitting in this chair, and zac was kinda leaning on V and he said something like “Van baby, i’m tired!” and then there bodyguard person was like “You wore him out vanessa?” she just giggled, I almost died, he calls her van! how cute is that? and she wears him out, how hot is that? but then we got the mean look from the guy standing outside the door so we bent it out of there. but the movie was awesome, i love zanessa, they are the hottest couple ever! jared your awesome keep bringing us more zanessa!

I am far from caring about fashion. I went to a funeral in jeans and sneakers, but you’d think that Zac could afford a real suit. Zac looks stupid. Lucas Gabrelle on the other hand looks like the comedian Ron White. Zac if you ever read this heres a hint, when your girlfriend puts on the nice cloths, you wear a real suit.

el it was pure dumb luck, we were leaving and people were directing us to walk in a certain direction, and I’m like i don’t think we should go this way, so we went the other way, and stumbled upon like the cast lounge area or whatever it was, it was the wrong way, or the right depending on how you look at it, ; )
