Maggie Gyllenhaal strips down to her lingerie as the new face (and body) for lingerie line Agent Provocateur.
Serena Rees, co-founder of Agent Provocateur, said: “Maggie is not an obvious sex symbol. She is interesting looking, confident and beautiful in a way that is non-threatening, which makes her appealing to men and women alike.”
Maggie, 29, replaced supermodel Kate Moss as Provocateur spokesmodel.

Maggie is old hollywood beautiful. If she were alive back in the 20s or 30s she would definitely be considered a sex symbol. But out idea of beautiful has changed. Now people like the bleach blonde, fake big boobs, orange skin look
She’s not pretty at all. Her body is okay, I guess. She shouldn’t be modeling lingerie.
Let’s get real. I like her enough as an actress. I’ve never been blown aways. She really is just average as an actress to me all around and not at all pretty.
Some of the pictures are really great - it’s just the one in the chair with the black lipstick, the smirk and the deep “marionette” lines on the side of her mouth that make her look like some used up bondage hooker - ack - she just looks harsh.
She’s not an ugly girl. But that is an ugly photo.

When you have to start your promotional campaign with she is not a sex symbol then stop the campaign. I see them losing money. She makes humans want to turn away from sex. there will be a decrease in human reproduction for a while.

I’ve seen her in tons of stuff and she’s extremely unattractive. Her body is terrible too, she has no muscle tone and flabby titties.
She’s good in indie films though. Her look translates well there. A lot of her fans aspire to her look, but in general, she’s not at all pretty.
And if she didn’t want to be judged on her looks she should have thought twice about this ad campaign.
I live for Agent Provocateur, but this kinda makes me think that AP is a little less sexy : (
She has a nice body, especially for having just had a baby, but she’s rather unfortunately-looking in the face. She’s a great actress, but I agree with the other poster who says she has zero sex appeal. I’d love to see her in a Gap campaign, but not this. She is a really bad fit. They should have picked Chloe Sevigny! Chloe is unusual-looking but still sexy in her own way.

She looks good after having her baby! I am not saying that she is cute, and all, but she looks hot in her underwear! Her husband LOVES it..so that is all that really, truly matters!
Considering that she just had a child, her body looks great unless its been airbrushed. The face, they need to airbrush a little more or use another.
