OlderHeath Ledger @ Venice Film Festival 2007
Despite reports of a break-up from actress Michelle Williams, Heath Ledger was pretty much all smiles in his camouflage Ray-Ban Wayfarers at the I’m Not There photocall during day 7 of the Venice Film Festival on Tuesday in Venice, Italy.
Williams‘ father, Larry, recently told Australia’s Daily Telegraph: “We have known about their troubles for a while but it’s always a very difficult thing in life when these things happen. I know Heath and Michelle still care about each other deeply and are very committed to being great parents to their daughter.”
Apparently the pressures of work caused their break-up: “You can never be stunned by what happens in Hollywood - I learned that when we were dealing with Michelle’s career when she was younger. Michelle was grown up at 16 and, just like Heath, her life has had an extremely fast pace to it. I feel tremendously for her and for him, and hope they will find what they want in life.”

That man seriously isn’t cute. And his not that much of a talented actor neither, diasappointing on both fronts when you really think about it.
He has a great body and i think he’s a good actor. Didn’t like his and Michelle’s attitude when they were together. I think it’s better they broke up!

I think Heath looks cools in his sunglasses. To me, he looks different than in his other pictures for some reason.

He was great in “Broke back Mountain.” Should have won the oscar. The hat worked well for him in that. Now he looks so ordinary
Sorry nothing attrative about this guy, plus he dresses like he buys his clothes at a second hand store. Michelle is very pretty but she was picking up his bad habits, looking like a bum.
Gusu — I agree. That was the last time I thought there was anything remotely cute about the guy. Initially, he and Michelle seemed happy — he w/ the glow that comes w/ a newly established relationship, and she with the glow of a pregnancy of the kind that hooks a man. But, as we see, it doesn’t. Neither has looked happy for a long time and she in particular looks morose ALL of the time.
Probably best that they split, but I feel sorry for theit little girl, of course.

My guess is his career isn’t going so well and he has nothing else to fall back on. He’s trying to hang on for dear life to an acting career that is just about dead.
Nothing lasts forever. These stars should always prepare for the famine, especially when they grow older and lose their looks. Heath was never a really big star like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise, so he should know better. It’s quite sad.

#16. The guy who won was good. I like him. But he won for lisping good. It is harder to do a young guy aging, with a deep inner turmoil over repressed sexuality and give a good performance without ever having a chance to exaggerate. Movie was subtle and multi-layered. Harder to show your talents doing a physically fine person. he made audience feel for him without crying or acting out. heck, he hardly spoke in the movie!!

Probably the reason of the split is that Heath would not marry Michele. It works for Jennifer Garner for entrapping Ben Affleck by getting pregnant right away.

Heath is gonna start looking good again now. LOL!!! I like his outfit. It is very “retro” looking consistent with the movie he is promoting. “I’m Not There” is about the life and times and music of Bob Dylan.
He used to be cute but those dirty clothes and his kid brother’s coat are not nice. Those are the clothes u put on a scarecrow.

Heath has lost the baby face and has grown into a very sexy, handsome man. He has killer bone structure and a very attractive face. He has zero “fashion” sense and tries to maek himself look unattractive with facial hair and crappy clothes, but he fails. At least he dressed up for the festival screening of his film! LOL!!! I don’t mind the prop, but I wish Heath would drop it with these costumes and props, bcz, the junky clothes are costumes and props. If he wants to be normal and not be standing out, he needs to get a pair of jeans, a fresh looking t-shirt and a neutral looking blazer and get his hair groomed. My guess is that the hair is still long bcz of Dark Knight (Batman.)still shooting.
He does look relaxed and happy, tho. I hate that he and Matilda will have to divide their time together. She is SO adorable. Looks like her daddy.
There’s nothing worse than a balding guy with long, stringy hair, desperately trying to hang on to the strands he’s got –covering them gingerly with a hat to “camouflage” it. He should do a Bruce Willis and shave it off or get a buzz cut. It shows a lot more confidence and I think he can pull off the buzz cut well. What he’s got going on now makes him look super-old. He also needs a tan because his palor looks unhealthy. What the hell happened to him? OLD!
It’s kind of ironic, since Michelle Williams keeps looking younger and younger. She’ll be a fetus again soon.
