Brad Pitt takes the Fall 2007 cover of V Magazine, as photographed by the wonderful Mario Testino. Here are some highlights from the V magazine interview by Christopher Bollen:
I know you’re in Prague right now, but the Fourth of July was yesterday. Did you celebrate it? No, we missed it here. But when you have four kids, every day is the Fourth of July.
Has becoming a father transformed your life? Yeah. It’s hilarious. It’s the funniest, most lovely thing I’ve ever taken on. And the biggest pain in the ass as well [laughs] And I couldn’t go back. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina? It’s so manufactured. We don’t pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my mo into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprise about that.
There is a popular idea that you lured the paparazzi to Africa when Angelina gave birth to spotlight problems there. Was that really purposeful? It’s fourfold. For one, we know that’s going to happen so it becomes a plus. It’s all about cost and gain, plusses and minuses. Two, and most importantly, we loved the idea of our daughter being born on another continent, something she’ll be able to have roots in as well and want to explore as she gets older. That was the preeminent factor for us. Three, we knew that they had very strong privacy laws there. And we knew there was going to be a huge bounty on our heads and we were going to get very little peace unless we went to a place like that. And four, it happened to be a place that we loved.

Ben and Casey are at Deauville for the film Burn Baby Burn which Ben directed and Casey starred in. JenniferG was not seen on the red carpet or in France, nor was there any sighting of her and their one child.
Angelina and all four kids were with Brad in Venice and in Deauville. Angie is devoted to Brad.

Jude Law is the one who gets arrested for hitting a paprazzi yet they discuss Brad & Angelina’s views on the paparazzi. Why don’t they talk about Jude Law? How many times are they gonna roll out that same interview with Angelina talking about the photographers using long lenses instead of going up close to the kids? I’ve see that clip 5 times on that show in the last 2 weeks alone.

I agree with you I can’t stand Showbiz tonight. I guess they are gonna link Brad’s interview to what Angelina says because they are talking about him tonight on the show.

Editor of Details on Showbiz Tonight talking about the interview :D Both women agree that he looks better with a few crow’s feet and less baby face :D Even better - talking about he and Angie and the great work they are doing and how beautiful the kids are. They are “selfless, loving parents” :D “They are doing a lot of things to help change the world for the better”. Very nice!

I don’t think E truly understand the “deep friendship” comment. It doesn’t mean love or that they are friends. It means it was never passion, and whatever it was it is now over except for whatever memories or experiences they shared. I agree they will never play that video. It doesn’t fit their agenda. I am waiting for a comment from x’s pr person to say they had love not friendship. Peace

I love the editor of Details magazine, Greg Williams, he did a great job talking about Brad. I loved when he said that Brad was frustrated with the media for being focused on stupid things, like Paris Hilton.
That bit*h Brooke Anderson tried to turn it in to something, starting drama, but the editor totally squashed her. They couldn’t even say nothing. They knew what he said was the truth. Oh, I loved the segment.

Since RyanS came aboard E! there is no attempt to tell the truth. GuDiP tries to be fair but they have almost pushed her off E! for Ryan and that is so wrong. Whatever negative slant can be put on a story E! now does. The Daily 10 is much more balanced and fair except for DebbieM (I can see why the View fired her, she is an idiot).
Showbiz Tonite story on Brad/Details was very positive. What a surprise!
