Brad Pitt takes the Fall 2007 cover of V Magazine, as photographed by the wonderful Mario Testino. Here are some highlights from the V magazine interview by Christopher Bollen:
I know you’re in Prague right now, but the Fourth of July was yesterday. Did you celebrate it? No, we missed it here. But when you have four kids, every day is the Fourth of July.
Has becoming a father transformed your life? Yeah. It’s hilarious. It’s the funniest, most lovely thing I’ve ever taken on. And the biggest pain in the ass as well [laughs] And I couldn’t go back. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina? It’s so manufactured. We don’t pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my mo into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprise about that.
There is a popular idea that you lured the paparazzi to Africa when Angelina gave birth to spotlight problems there. Was that really purposeful? It’s fourfold. For one, we know that’s going to happen so it becomes a plus. It’s all about cost and gain, plusses and minuses. Two, and most importantly, we loved the idea of our daughter being born on another continent, something she’ll be able to have roots in as well and want to explore as she gets older. That was the preeminent factor for us. Three, we knew that they had very strong privacy laws there. And we knew there was going to be a huge bounty on our heads and we were going to get very little peace unless we went to a place like that. And four, it happened to be a place that we loved.

I used to visit nursing homes with my choir to sing and I would pass out socks with my HOSA organization (Health Occupation Students of America) I was a member for 4 and the president for two years and we did it every Christmas. How nice of you to give some advice, that is very stressful period, placing people you love into another persons care. I had a great aunt in a nursing home, it was a really good one. They really take care of their residents. Its soooo important to make sure they are in a place where they get the best care possible, so please take as much as time as you need. These days it’s good to be a BAMPZS fans, isn’t it? We have seen our fave couple so loving and loved up, and the beautiful kids up and about. No wonder the fanistons are really going nuts.
This Brad has spoken poster has been consistently annoying us with her fixation on Brad going back to Jennifer, AS IF!!! Wish we had the ignore button like the one JJB. Oh well, just skipping her posts!

Awww, the trolls are unhappy that Brad threw Aniston under the bus? He did it nicely, but, he still did it. LOL. Saying what he said in 2005, that the end of their marriage was a mutual decision and it wasn’t due to Angelina. It’s tough hearing from Brad that he was unhappy and unfulfilled. And had to get out. That he didn’t know how many days he had left, but, he sure as hell, didn’t want to spend them with Aniston. That he pretty much was bored and sitting on his butt during his time with her. It wasn’t death till us part, but, it will be death if he didn’t part.
I loved him saying he might have been having a mid life crisis in his 30’s. LMAO! Don’t pin his relationship with Angelina on that, but, hell, go ahead and pin his relationship with his ex on it. Well played.
And then to say, he could never imagine his life without his family, he could never go back. He doesn’t want to. He’s happy and he’s got no regrets.
Then the topper, the interview where he clearly says that Angelina is his Great Love and he lights up. Aniston got deep friendship, Angelina gets the title of being his Great Love. Yep, Aniston was always the great friendship. Never a great loveship, so to speak.
I do have to laugh, Brad doesn’t have any right to answer questions directed at him by an interviewer about his divorce. But, everyone else can talk about it. But, not the man who was the other half of it. Nope. Only if he’d said what they wanted him to say. Which he didn’t. So, now he needs to not talk about it. LOL.

Showbiz tonight update:
I love the editor of Details magazine, Greg Williams, he did a great job talking about Brad. I loved when he said that Brad was frustrated with the media for being focused on stupid things, like Paris Hilton.
That bit*h Brooke Anderson tried to turn it in to something, starting drama, but the editor totally squashed her. They couldn’t even say nothing. They knew what he said was the truth. Oh, I loved the segment.

You really are a lovely young woman, I am still on the phone but three way, my other colleague is doing most of the talking, that’s why I got her on, so I am posting while they talk and I jump in when I can. My friend is in California and it is very upsetting for her. My other friend is telling her exactly what she needs to do.

Dang, now you have me fantasizing about what the baby will look like. It will probably weigh 10 lbs — 6 lbs of body and 4 lbs of chin.
