Brad Pitt takes the Fall 2007 cover of V Magazine, as photographed by the wonderful Mario Testino. Here are some highlights from the V magazine interview by Christopher Bollen:
I know you’re in Prague right now, but the Fourth of July was yesterday. Did you celebrate it? No, we missed it here. But when you have four kids, every day is the Fourth of July.
Has becoming a father transformed your life? Yeah. It’s hilarious. It’s the funniest, most lovely thing I’ve ever taken on. And the biggest pain in the ass as well [laughs] And I couldn’t go back. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina? It’s so manufactured. We don’t pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my mo into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprise about that.
There is a popular idea that you lured the paparazzi to Africa when Angelina gave birth to spotlight problems there. Was that really purposeful? It’s fourfold. For one, we know that’s going to happen so it becomes a plus. It’s all about cost and gain, plusses and minuses. Two, and most importantly, we loved the idea of our daughter being born on another continent, something she’ll be able to have roots in as well and want to explore as she gets older. That was the preeminent factor for us. Three, we knew that they had very strong privacy laws there. And we knew there was going to be a huge bounty on our heads and we were going to get very little peace unless we went to a place like that. And four, it happened to be a place that we loved.

Sam, Sure is only cute, Shiloh is beautiful. There is no way Suri can match Shiloh just like there is no way Suri’s parents can match Shiloh’s parents. Shiloh is the most beautiful child and her parents are the most beautiful parents in the world.

Sam troller is getting desparate and getting crazier . From comparing Brad with every HW actors, now he’s comparing his 15 month old daughter with every baby in this world. DISGUSTING !
It amazes me that most of the fans here now, have nothing but compliments for Brad after bringing up Jennifer after 3 years apart. Brad knows that this movie is going to flop and flop badly, and he, the supposedly big star, still needs to stay connected to Jennifer, because they do not have enough fans to carry their movies. Jennifer has said she has not talked to Brad, do not talk to Brad, and have no interest in the future to talk to Brad. What did we truly learn in that name dropping of Jennifer. He and Jennifer was not working he went with Angelina, and we know all of that. The bottom line the children and Angelina do not give him enough good PR, so he needs, and yes needs Jennifer to stay associated with the most beautiful family in the world. What are the odds. I think we know who the true star is, the one with the real class is, as well as the one that truly want to no longer be associated with these two people. Maybe by the time the other movie he promote comes out, and this one flop, he will understand that nothing he can say at this point will make anyone like him. Brad Pitt’s career is a wrap. We do not even need to say anything about Angelina. AMH has proven no one wants to see her, period.

It was dina #1, I was on the edge of my seat watching that match in the third set, but our girl pulled it out :). ITAWU regarding John M and Tracy Austin. John M. is getting a little better when talking about the sisters, but Austin I can’t stand that woman, never could.
Did you watched the Roger F and Andy R. match? The first 2 sets were tight, both went into a tie breaker and Roger won them and also won the third set, I am so happy for him.

Hey Alex - Yeah, I was glad to see Venus win, but I hope she comes out with a better serve on Friday! LOL! If she doesn’t, it’s going to be a very short match. And she needs to cut down on the unforced errors, too.
Also - Did you see the Federer/Roddick match? Andy just needs to give up the ghost and let Federer have the match on a “walkover”. I swear that would be less embarrassing than being toyed with for 2 hours! At one point some guy in the stands yelled at Federer, “Come on Roger, give him a chance!” It wouldn’t have been so funny except the score was 7-6, 5-5 with Federer winning the first set in a 7-4 tiebreaker! LOL! That’s as close as Andy has played Roger in almost 4 years. But it was so obvious that Roger wasn’t even putting out maximum effort. He was on cruise control all night and Andy had the peddle to the floor! I’d feel sorry for Andy…but I just love watching Roger play tennis. Roger Federer in full-flight is a thing of beauty. It’s like watching Tiger groove his driver. Schweet!

What you’re saying doesn’t make a shred of sense. How does Brad ANSWERING a question (not bringing her up) about JA put butts in movie seats? Do you really think someone is going to read Brad’s interview and think “Oh yeah, that’s right, he used to be married to Jennifer Aniston so I’ll go watch his movie now”. HELL TO THE NO!
Use your brain girl - this is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie you’re talking about - the most talked about, photographed, chased by paps and beautiful A-List movie stars on the planet. They don’t need ANYBODY to get them publicity, let alone some washed up sit com star who has done nothing for the past 3 years of any great note.
Come back next year during awards season and after the box office numbers are in and we’ll play a little game called “I Told YOU So”. In the mean time, why don’t you switch teams and enjoy the beautiful family that they have, and the amazing projects they’re working on. Or would you rather ogle Jen’s ‘classy’ dogs? Jennifer doesn’t have a career. Her last three movies in a row have bombed. Most of the ones before that also bombed. She hasn’t worked for two years. She’s got a couple of films in the works which will probably go straight to video. She’s not starring in any of them. She can’t carry a film. She can’t even carry a sitcom any more. She drags down everybody she’s connected with. What are Cox/Arquette doing lately? How about Sheryl Crow? Aniston’s like a vampire sucking the life out of people. Brad couldn’t dump that sorry b*tch fast enough. Since he left Aniston, he’s had three movies out, all commercial successes: “Babel” (GG award winner and Oscar nominee), “Mr and Mrs Smith”, and “O13″. In the same period, everything Aniston has touched has turned to sh*t. Flop after flop after flop. So who needs who, you tell me? Brad doesn’t need that fugly cow. But she needs him because she’s nobody without him. No more career. No more A-list. No more social life (tailgating the Cox/Arquettes everywhere they go doesn’t count as a social life). No man. No kids. No nothing. All she’s got left is memories and a few psycho fans like you. Well, like the man said, you can’t win ‘em all.
Listen for a long time he said nothing about his breakup apart from stating the rumour that the marriage broke up due to a desire for kids “is a good story but not true”.
It is not damage control as it is about 2.5 years after the event. He said what many families that break up say. They the two people in the marriage needed to make a decision whether they want to salvage the marriage or not.
I like this family and believe that saying those who hate Angie are Aniston fans is being simplistic. People could hate her because she is a threat to what they know and are used to… Who knows, who cares. I used to think ” the girl next door” tag was silly regardless of who it was attached to. He has moved on from his marriage all you people should too.
I love looking at any couples in love and I feel that this woman who admits thats he has low moments and had issues of self worth has finally found something that makes her feel good. The term “do gooder” should not be a negative term.
