Brad Pitt takes the Fall 2007 cover of V Magazine, as photographed by the wonderful Mario Testino. Here are some highlights from the V magazine interview by Christopher Bollen:
I know you’re in Prague right now, but the Fourth of July was yesterday. Did you celebrate it? No, we missed it here. But when you have four kids, every day is the Fourth of July.
Has becoming a father transformed your life? Yeah. It’s hilarious. It’s the funniest, most lovely thing I’ve ever taken on. And the biggest pain in the ass as well [laughs] And I couldn’t go back. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina? It’s so manufactured. We don’t pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my mo into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprise about that.
There is a popular idea that you lured the paparazzi to Africa when Angelina gave birth to spotlight problems there. Was that really purposeful? It’s fourfold. For one, we know that’s going to happen so it becomes a plus. It’s all about cost and gain, plusses and minuses. Two, and most importantly, we loved the idea of our daughter being born on another continent, something she’ll be able to have roots in as well and want to explore as she gets older. That was the preeminent factor for us. Three, we knew that they had very strong privacy laws there. And we knew there was going to be a huge bounty on our heads and we were going to get very little peace unless we went to a place like that. And four, it happened to be a place that we loved.

“The interview was a class act.” Really. Do you think that it is classy to lie. How many of us really believe that Jen and Brad have a deep friendship. Really??? Come on. I bet that they barely talk. What do you loons think are they talking alot, meeting for time together. That’s what people who have a deep friendship do. This was an out and out lie!
There is no way that brad and Jen have a deep friendship now. He is doing this to make him look better.
And be honest he left jen because he was attracted to Angie. No outside infleunce! Really be honest brad! You guys idolize a man who lies. In my opinion Jen said way to little in theat Vaniety fair article. If I would have been Jen I would have made him out to be the lier and cheat he was.
The public already think that brad cheated so saying this makes him look really like a idiot. Oh yeh he is a class act alright, his pictures are so photoshopped he looks fifteen, he sells his kids for fame, he talks about his x wife all the time to make himself look good! What a class act.

In the movie ‘Meet Joe Black’ the daughter kisses the father on the lip too. Are they incestuous too? Maybe it is just a culture thing.
Sad for Jen, with all of Angie’s alleged past faults, she is still no match for Angie.
Personally, I don’t care for any egocentric person. why should we care for Jen? she is not mistreated. she is done nothing for others.
And then when she went on Oprah, it seemed like the only thing she found offensive about the article was that it said she was crying so much. I just expected her to say that it was not right about bashing Angie like that.

No, even if part of the reason he left was he was attracted to someone else, I would still want him to say it was just between the two married parties. It’s disrespectful to say someone was favored over another. It doesn’t look good for Jen either. To each his own I guess.
And I do expect them to not speak to each other but maintain a deep respect for each other after having been together for several years.

….and you guys are bitter because the man that lies isn’t with the woman you are rooting for. This always cracks me up b/c people don’t cheat(phyical or emotional) unless they are unhappy at home and it’s clear that both Jen and Brad were not happy with the marriage despite what she says for Jen was beginning to hang out with Vince V. in March of 2005 and no one has made a peeped out of it.
The fact that posters like yourself are still talking about it lets me know that you are somehow bitter about a relationship that you were not involved in. Relationship end everyday and that’s what happened and it seems that both Brad and Jen have moved on to enjoy their lives…why can’t the fans do the same?

I hate people bring up her past behaviors to trash Angie.
First: Her past personal behaviors do NOT Contradicted her present humanitarian efforts. In fact, her past is Exactly what make her humantrain efforts so believable, because she really knowns what suffering is like and that relate her to other unfortunate people.

The politically correct way to not publicly humiliate a colleague. You may not like Brad speaking politically correct about his ex-wife but he did not publicly humiliate her. He says I consider my years with her as having taught me what I really want from my life; it was my lesson to learn not hers.
I admire Brad and Angie for trying to create the vision of family they want and their humanitarian work is astonding. There are so many places in your own communities that you can make a difference. We have made a life time work of taking care of the poor but there are so many areas that need your efforts that it seems so counter-productive to keep harping on one failed relationship in a sea of failed relationships. I prefer to give them kudos for the good they do and the love they put into their endeavors.

Hi Everyone=All of you BAMPZS FANS:) Havn’t had a lot of free time due to lifes ups and downs but when i do i am here,that’s a given. Brad finally spoke out. Everyone else was speaking for him and that was getting so nerve wracking. Certainly was about time, but with him being so private ,didn’t know if he would. WOW!! Love It! I thought he let Jen off the hook too easy for the hullabaloo she created for daytime entertainment pity partie’s but who am i to try to change his tune but one more forever fan who posts my own opinions favorable to him and Angie.
SO Brad speaks for himself and what a sweetheart he is, such a kind man,. a good man. No wonder Angie whould be there for him .
