Brad Pitt takes the Fall 2007 cover of V Magazine, as photographed by the wonderful Mario Testino. Here are some highlights from the V magazine interview by Christopher Bollen:
I know you’re in Prague right now, but the Fourth of July was yesterday. Did you celebrate it? No, we missed it here. But when you have four kids, every day is the Fourth of July.
Has becoming a father transformed your life? Yeah. It’s hilarious. It’s the funniest, most lovely thing I’ve ever taken on. And the biggest pain in the ass as well [laughs] And I couldn’t go back. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina? It’s so manufactured. We don’t pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my mo into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprise about that.
There is a popular idea that you lured the paparazzi to Africa when Angelina gave birth to spotlight problems there. Was that really purposeful? It’s fourfold. For one, we know that’s going to happen so it becomes a plus. It’s all about cost and gain, plusses and minuses. Two, and most importantly, we loved the idea of our daughter being born on another continent, something she’ll be able to have roots in as well and want to explore as she gets older. That was the preeminent factor for us. Three, we knew that they had very strong privacy laws there. And we knew there was going to be a huge bounty on our heads and we were going to get very little peace unless we went to a place like that. And four, it happened to be a place that we loved.

Boo Hoo Hoo! Brad’s in Damage Control cos he has a crap movie coming out soon.Angelina has trained him well.
If he doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him then he shouldn’t bring up his ex from 3 years ago (to look like a good guy) and if he hates the intrusion into the lives of his children then he shouldn’t be talking about them to sell magazines, period.
Brad is a hypocrite. If he thinks Paris is oblivious then so is he;
I like the photos they used for the cover better in V than Details. I still plan on buying both magazine if I can find V where I live.

I saw this and I love it, but this interview only see few people, and in v magazine all the people, and is what he say to the people he said in v magazine not in a tv local.

When I read “so manufactured” and “drag my mom into it” parts, I felt as if Brad was blaming Jen also for allowing what happened to his mother in front of her house.
Brad is telling things without making it obvious. Someone in his past tried the same thing in her very famous interview but failed it badly.

What all people? Up until a few days ago not too many people on a lot of boards didn’t know that V mag existed and that clip is on Youtube….do you know how many people watch youtube daily? The difference is that when he talked about his children he is in control (that is his right) Becuase he only talked about them. He didn’t have camerar shove in their faces. what’s wrong with him talking about his your children? people do it all the time. the only difference is that other people are not as famous as he is, so they are not in the magazine. whether he is talking about his kid or not, the gossip magazines still use them to sale magazines anyway.
