Brad Pitt takes the Fall 2007 cover of V Magazine, as photographed by the wonderful Mario Testino. Here are some highlights from the V magazine interview by Christopher Bollen:
I know you’re in Prague right now, but the Fourth of July was yesterday. Did you celebrate it? No, we missed it here. But when you have four kids, every day is the Fourth of July.
Has becoming a father transformed your life? Yeah. It’s hilarious. It’s the funniest, most lovely thing I’ve ever taken on. And the biggest pain in the ass as well [laughs] And I couldn’t go back. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina? It’s so manufactured. We don’t pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my mo into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprise about that.
There is a popular idea that you lured the paparazzi to Africa when Angelina gave birth to spotlight problems there. Was that really purposeful? It’s fourfold. For one, we know that’s going to happen so it becomes a plus. It’s all about cost and gain, plusses and minuses. Two, and most importantly, we loved the idea of our daughter being born on another continent, something she’ll be able to have roots in as well and want to explore as she gets older. That was the preeminent factor for us. Three, we knew that they had very strong privacy laws there. And we knew there was going to be a huge bounty on our heads and we were going to get very little peace unless we went to a place like that. And four, it happened to be a place that we loved.

Why is he still talking about Jennifer?
She is the only one not bringing this **** up anymore. I am not her fan, by far, but the loons go on and on about the VF article she put out, but that was right after the split. This is like years later. Jolie has even brought it up recently. They should just say “no comment, different time in life” I think their giult causes them to answer.

What defense of Jane? Jane had nothing to defend. She visited a former daughter in law she still cares a great deal for. Still bitter much? Face it. Pitty’s a narcissistic, selfish animal and he’ll never learn.
Btw, I don’t know why people are btiching about the air-brushed pictures. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a celeb on the front cover of a magazine w/o air-brushing. They do it to everyone. So what, if they erased a few lines here and there? It’s still his pretty face :)

I think Brad is being asked about fatherhood and everything else but films. It’s not his fault. If he balked, the media would spin it and say he was conceited because he sisn’t want to answer questions.
Well, since he pretends he doesn’t pay attention to what the media think , it should make no difference for him if they judge him conceited.Or maybe he pays attention after all, because he seems pretty aware of all the so called BS written.
It reminds me of Jodie Foster always taunted about the gay thing, asked for justifications, coming out.Her only response:”I have no comment about it”.She is bashed for that, perceived as pretentious but she sticks to her position.THAT is really the attitude of someone who doesn’t care about the media and focuses the interviews on her WORK.
Jane Pitt still considers Jen as a daughter, she’s not going to apologise. She knew the camaras were there and still let them take her pics on father’s day. What is Brad going to say? my mom hates angelina? PLEASE
LMAO! My sides are hurting from reading all of BP’s attempts at damage control now or so the nuts say. It’s like they come up with an excuse for any and everything he does and make it out to fit the picture of Brad they wish is still there …that he loves/is pining for his ex but the reality of it is…he doesn’t, he has moved on and so has his ex yet the fans of this couple have not and remain behind bitter as ever.
So stop trying to come up with reason for this or any other interview, stop over thinking simple pictures and coming up with stories you think match b/c like everyone else here you don’t know these people and what they are thinking.

But now I’m going to say something about the interview: Wtf?? His MOM doesn’t deserve it?? Yeah yeah yeah, I’m sure she’s a really nice person and all, but GMAFB. When he says in one of the interviews when asked about her weight that she is fine and the the mags over exaggerate is that not defending the angie weight issues?
When he talks about his choice to move away from his marrige independent of any feelings for Angie because his marriage was not working is that not defending the Angie is a homewrecker charges?

He said she is a fantastic mother. Witch means that she is not going to abandon any of her children and she doesn’t love her adopted kids more that her bio daughter or vice versa.
And he also said that he has no plants to stop having kids with her anytime soon.
He said that his biggest fear is if anything will ever happened to her. He said that after meeting her he became a new man.
He said that his marriage had many problems that they where trying to solve before he let himself to think of a future with Angelina. which means Angie didn’t break any marriage.
But he is jerk because he dosen’t say…well…..more! LMAO!!!

What’s really funny is that everything she does in her life is still in direct reaction to what Angie and Brad are doing, even if she doesn’t utter his name in an interview, whereas Brad may speak about her if asked a question, but lives his life for Angie and their children. People like you are more focused on words than actions, so I don’t expect you to get that right away, but think about it a bit. The last laugh is on you!

They were talking about his comments on his looks and whoopie said he couldn’t be ugly if he took an ugly pill. Joy was talking about how he is a man of substance and people like Kevin Federline should be worried about there looks as that is all they have. Barbara was quoting the entire article about how he said he is good with turning 40, how he couldn’t just sit on the couch anymore he had to get involved, about his kids etc… Elizabth which I was surprised said he has AJ he could never be ugly and he should never worry about anything. She kept saying how he has AJ. IT was very favorable.
