Brad Pitt takes the Fall 2007 cover of V Magazine, as photographed by the wonderful Mario Testino. Here are some highlights from the V magazine interview by Christopher Bollen:
I know you’re in Prague right now, but the Fourth of July was yesterday. Did you celebrate it? No, we missed it here. But when you have four kids, every day is the Fourth of July.
Has becoming a father transformed your life? Yeah. It’s hilarious. It’s the funniest, most lovely thing I’ve ever taken on. And the biggest pain in the ass as well [laughs] And I couldn’t go back. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina? It’s so manufactured. We don’t pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my mo into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprise about that.
There is a popular idea that you lured the paparazzi to Africa when Angelina gave birth to spotlight problems there. Was that really purposeful? It’s fourfold. For one, we know that’s going to happen so it becomes a plus. It’s all about cost and gain, plusses and minuses. Two, and most importantly, we loved the idea of our daughter being born on another continent, something she’ll be able to have roots in as well and want to explore as she gets older. That was the preeminent factor for us. Three, we knew that they had very strong privacy laws there. And we knew there was going to be a huge bounty on our heads and we were going to get very little peace unless we went to a place like that. And four, it happened to be a place that we loved.

The difference between Brad talking about the demise of his marriage and x doing it, Brad actually talked about the demise of his marriage. X talked about Brad not coming to the final performance of Friends, and someone calling her homely, and his not being sensitive to her, and her, and her, and her. Brad was very generous to X, not overly, but not hateful like she was to him. I don’t know what the difficulty is with the trolls understanding this. But then if they understood, they wouldn’t be trolls. Trolls = limited understanding. And for someone to still think this man will go back to x after stating several times that they, he and Angie, are having more children is beyond dumb or stupid. Trolls, please let it go. It is over. X is a past quickly fading into oblivion. Peace

Brad didn’t brought up anything. He was asked a question and he answered back. He wasn’t asked about his split in his previous interviews so he didn’t said anything.
If JA has the right to talk about her split then he has the right to do it too. The difference is that Brad is talking about the subject in tow paragraphs among many other things.
JA did a whole ass interview just to talk about the divorce and not only that but bring a bunch of friends to comment on HER marriage like they where his wifes too.
If you have a problem because he made your idol look like the liar she is it’s not his problem. He said there where many question to be answered and lot of thinks to be disccused about his marriage between the tow of them before Angelina.
That clearly means that JA knew that the dismissed of her marriage was caused by HER and Brad and nobody else. But she played the victim and pretended she did nothing wrong.
Well unfortunately that’s not the case. Face it for once. She is responsible of what is happening to her life.
Their marriage wasn’t working. They grew apart. Case closed!!!

Mmmmm, I’ll bypass the troll droppings, accompanying maggots and
annoying little gnats. Let’s get right to the heart of things, that
is lov’em or hat’em, Angie and Brad are totally fascinating. They are
so fascinating that we just can’t stand to leave them alone. They are
endlessly being analyzed and asked about their personal lives to the
exclusion of everything else. Including the fact that they are world
class moviestars making quality pictures. I think Brad is speaking
somewhat of this insanity that consumes people and his annoyance with
it. He knows that this is not real, that it is not really important
in the long run when compared to fatherhood or the fact that New Orleans
is a long way from being rebuilt. Us fans have it bad no doubt, but
just consider some of the non-fans who are fascinated just as much as
we are, but against their will. They have no choice but to spin that
fascination as something akin to sleeping with Lucifer and blame Angie
and Brad from everything from spinach poisoning to global warming. :lol:
Poor lost souls, it’s all Angie and Brad’s fault! :D

Hiya Coal and AG— how do you like the current entertainment so far?
I find it a tad discomforting watching the agony of the trolls, but in general it is a good hilarious and a fun show.

Hmmmmmmmm the sounds coming out of my microwave reminded me of another day right here at JJ’s when the trolls found out the whole family went to Venice when they were banking on Bradley going all alone :lol: :lol:

This lovely couple have given us the bomb and it feels soooo good to delight in their great love affair. What a happy energy!
So many good posts (so little time but a standout for me was:

How can you not get it? When Brad says that he has a deep friendship with Jen, he isn’t just trying to calm down the rabid Jenfans—
HE’S TRYING TO CALM DOWN THE RABID ‘BRANGELOONIES’ (a reference I detest but it refers to all of us. But if it means that I am crazy/good about this family, fine.)
He is sending a message loud and clear for ALL—Jenfans and truefans of the family–to cease and desist with keeping this triangle alive.
Gosh I know sooooo many of you will be pissed at me for ‘going here’ but honestly, we have got to stop having such a ‘gang mentality’ with Aniston bashing because eventually these boards will rot away as more and more good and truefans grow tired and bored of that kind of negative energy.
As fans of this family, we are getting back in spades all our loyalty and
faith in them with their continued solidarity and commitment to each other. Best of all, we are getting it PUBLICLY.
To add to the triangle stupidity anymore is just showing loud and clear that this isn’t what has motivated us. We want blood and still more blood.

Angie once said when she met Brad, she thoght that he was married to his best friend.
Now Brad is saying that Angie is HIS GREAT LOVE and HIS BEST FRIEND!

you even lost the title of his best friend right after Mrs Brad Pitt.
The mother of Brad Pitt doesn’t have any problem with the love of his son. If she really had problem, she would not come to visit them so often wherever they are, she would not accept the eldest three kids of Brad and Angie as much as the youngest one, she and Jen would get together as often and much as they could and more just to piss off Angie which has never happened.
In last almost 3 years Jen and Jane got together 2 times, the first meeting was reported, the second meeting was photographed because it was in Jen’s house.
If Jane Pitt had any problem with Angie, we could now her arrogant manner through Jen and her PR team with the proof. They can do anything to put Angie down. So far nothing as you see.

here is my 2 cents: Angie is not like any other weakly women. she is very independent and very articulate about her needs/wants. She probably doesn’t want Brad to defend her. Why should he? His mom is a different matter. She is not a public person and can’t give interview or public speech to defend herself. She is also may be prone to look at the headlines of tabs in local market and got hurt from all the lies. Brad is protective of his mom just like anyone close to him who may need defending.

Actually, I picked the quotation of Foster in the last Entertainment weekly (she’s on the cover by the way)in a 4 pages ITW.And I was just using her as an example to handle a journalist when you don’t REALLY want to answer a private matter.Since all the fans here repeat “He has no choice, he was asked “, I just wanted to point that you always have the choice to say no comment even if you’re Brad God Pitt.
Since Foster doesn’ fit your criterion for fame(a étime Oscar winner) ,I would say Depp who always refuse to discuss his private life and therefore keeps the journalists focus on his work.
(I guess it won’t do it for yousince you have placed Pitt on some kind of pedestal so above everybody else)
For the record it’s not hate:I actually love or hate pepole with whom I interact in real life, not those I only know by pictures.

I myself think jane pitt went to see jenn because she was having a meltdown after brad and angie walked the red carpet for oceans in calif. i think jen called janie maybe crying because it was fathers day. well any way a nice ex mother-in-law went to check on jen,did you see when they both parted how they looked miserable.brad and angie i bet knew about it,anyway its over our lovely family is doing ok no harm done,or maybe her and paul were having trouble since she won’t talk to her mother well she called the ex mother-in -law.like i said no harm done.
