Football, Jared. Football. We live it, breathe it. Becks would never call it anything else. It’s sad that he is injured - I hope he does recover soon. I’ve never been a Becks and Posh fan but it does look that England needs all the help it can get.

Actually Soccer was a term coined in England - around 1886 or so - check it out - derived in a similar fashion to rugger, brekkers, and a host of “Englishisms”…..don’t give Americans the credit for inventing a word like that - they tend to go in for works like ***** and ho, and replacing the letter “C” with a “K” for ease of comprehension.

Ha ya, we didn’t invent the term. I heard it was coined by a brit who had a hard time distinguishing rugby from English football. #14, thanks for narrowing the intelligence of the entire country of America to a few celebrities and hicks. >_

YES, ITS FOOTBALL…AND PLEEEEASE….AMERICA IS A CONTINENT…IN THE REST OF AMERICA IT IS CALL FOOTBALL, FUTBOL OR FUTEBOL. THE NAME OF THE COUNTRY THAT CALL “SOCCER” IS UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! BUT AS GOOD MEGALOMANIAC AS THEY ARE THEY CALL THEMSELVES JUST AMERICA. MAYBE THIS THE CAUSE THAT POOR LITTLE AMERICANS (THE USA ONES) HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THEIR COUNTRY IS ON THE MAP. Soccer and football are the same thing. What’s played in England was originally called association football (can’t remember why) and the nickname “soccer” was shortened from asSOCiation. So its still all football in the end!

These Beckham ***** are a WASTE of America’s money!
