Angelina Jolie spends the morning with her two middle children — Pax, 3, and Zahara, 2 — at a park playground on New York City’s Upper East Side on Wednesday.
She sure has strong arms to carry both kids at one time!
Angie wore a black cardigan, gray pencil skirt and Michael Kors nude flats while Zahara wore a pink knit sweater and Pax wore a blazer.
Both Angelina and Brad Pitt were spotted taking their son Maddox, 6, to a French school in New York City on Tuesday morning. Mad, who’s losing missing his top front two teeth (maybe more), swung his way into school on Papa Pitt’s arms.
UPDATE: Angelina dropped Maddox off at school this morning (Thursday). Ange wore a her fave Chanel shades, a white tee, white pants and nude Christian Louboutin heels. Mad looked mighty dorky in his uniform — white buttondown and gray shorts!

New York is actually very easy place to follow people. So many straight, one-way streets, and lots of traffic. Ron Gallela made a living out of following Jacqueline Onassis and her children. She was one of the first people ever to successfully pursue a restraining order against press. At the time New Yorkers were aghast… what is that??…but over time this has become commonplace (restraining orders).
AJ seemed pretty dang smiley to me in the boat photos and at the film festival. When dressed up w/lipstick, some shots are more posed in nature, but there are a lot where the two of them are just laughing.
As for her skinny legs - sigh - some women are just thin in the limbs, and will gain and lose their weight in the core area of their bodies. She would seem to be one of those lucky people.

Whatever you see in the pictures of the parents carrying their children represent only the tiniest moment of their daily life. Therefore, you cannot draw a conclusion that the children are being carried 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unless you live with them, you dont know their life.
I carry my children every now and then, even they are 6 or 7 years old. That has no harm on them.

for so long, could mean she DOES NOT want them with

stands in regards to important issues - your
marriage/relationship is doomed because you do not
trust or will no longer trust that person to

So, Brad acted, and there you have it.
One more thing - maybe its because I find that woman
so repulsive that I have to say that staying with
someone for seven years means that he found her
appealing. Brad was a strong believer in marriage. You
guys want to cast him aside as this amoral person but
he is a stand up guy. The fact that he stayed so long
is a testament to his commitment not necessarily her
appeal. But because you Fanistons like to see things
from your Aniston-colored glasses you forget like her

Myself, I think you are right, that is was an issue of
Trust. I think (I don’t know of course), that Brad
felt that in the end he didn’t trust Jennifer. There
was an interview where he talks, half jokingly about

he told her and how it drove him crazy. I think he

I would just like to make a statement regarding X’s Vanity Fair excerpt a few posts up the board. It is very clearly stated by her that the marriage couldn’t be reconciled. She says the relationship was complicated and not just one thing but many things caused its demise.
This is true in many ended relationships if not all. With that said, that excerpt above should clearly be seen in concurrence to what Brad and Angelina have said all along. Attraction? Yes. Cheating? No. Brad and X grew apart long before Angelina came along. They both changed, wanted different things in the relationship as well as in life. X states there are many things she’d do differently if they remained a couple. Hindsight is always 20/20. I doubt if she’d change for long before reverting by to the old ways. That’s why relationships hit snags and lag on… running in place. We revert to our old ways. Again, any other interpretation is beyond my understanding. I do believe because some say Angelina stole BBT that she had to have stolen Brad too. This is why we’re still going back and forth hence the DummyDanny Bonaducci’s comments.

Both Brad and Jen consider each a FREE person the minute divorce papers were filed which was 3/25/2005.
1) According to Aniston, she considers one is free and can do whatever she/he wants when the divorce papers was filed. Judging from this VF interview which was done in June 2005.

2) If you go back and look at those pictures, during the separation period , Brad still wore the wedding ring as can be seen on Jen’s birthday party. But Jen took off her ring even during the separation period.

4) Brad also bought the house in Malibu in 4/2005, and also moved out of the house.

Wonderful clip, thank your for sharing. I love that people involved and reporting important world issues have so much respect for her and UN work.
I am not trying to be too judgemental. But as high profile celebrities Brad and Angie have put themselves and their children in the spotlight for crtique. That’s just how it works.
I think the children look healthy and seem normal. Brad seems to have always wanted children and his former wife was not helping his wish to have children come true. Angie helped feel that strong wish and desire for him. Now he has the family he has wanted for so many years.
I just think they need to finally settle in one place for the sake of the children - so the kids can have a sense of being grounded. The kids may want to enventually develope friendships, participate in sports and after-school activities, or have a sense of community. Most kids want those things.

Last week the Daily Telegraph released results of a very sexy scientific study claiming that Jessica Alba has the sexiest walk in the world. Alba’s 25-inch waist and 36-inch hips, said the study, produced the sexiest strut, ranking her higher than Angelina Jolie, Kate Moss and even historical hottie Marilyn Monroe.
But according to Cambridge University Professor Richard Weber, who worked on the mathematical equation, Alba wasn’t the winner. Weber was commissioned to determine the sexiest swagger by Clarion Communications, a PR firm that reps a hair removal product. He says the reported results are bogus — Angelina Jolie is actually the sexiest strutter.
Adds scientist Ben Goldacre, writer for the Guardian, Clarion already had a winner in mind when it commissioned the study. Goldacre was told by a Clarion rep that in order to highlight the product, they wanted “Beyonce to come out on top followed by other celebrities with curvy legs such as J-Lo and Kylie, and celebrities like Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse to be at the bottom — e.g., skinny and pale unshapely legs are not as sexy.”

I don’t understand why Jennifer Aniston is even in the conversation anymore? They have been divorced for over 2 years.

Then the dolt replied that they were still friends. Basically Brad claims that life with Jennifer was not enough to fill his ego and his new found sense of importance. He didn’t want to “sit on the couch” anymore. He would need a serial orphan adopter to make him feel better about himself. They can travel the world, get good press for what they believe is good deeds and live the life of luxury while lecturing others on how to live.
Sadly the Pitt-Jolie plan fell hard somewhere along that last adoption of Pax-Thien Jolie. Once they snagged that little kid out of the orphanage, many people seemed to turn on the couple. “Who’s gonna watch these kids,” people asked. That was the start of the Jolie-Pitt backlash. Now their films flop, and they are ridiculed.

But last I read, it’s going to be so bad at the box office that he had to put the inevitable “limited release” on it so it wouldn’t be compared to the last flop “A Mighty Heart.” Maybe Pitt set his goals too high, maybe he belongs on the couch.

I used to be a BAMPZS fan ages ago, especially when all the Hateration against them was at its peak with the x’s VF bit of bitchery, but I have gone off them of late. The fans here, whose handles that I used to love seeing, are also losing their appeal
I used to think they were very much in love with common goals and ambitions and with a really sound, grounded outlook on life. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have enrolled son Maddox in an $18,000-a-year New York private school.
The couple’s eldest son, who Angelina adopted from Cambodia, began classes at the Lycee Francais de New York on the Upper East Side on Tuesday.
Angelina and Brad both accompanied Maddox, 6, for his first day to the Manhattan campus, where lessons are all taught in French and based on France’s curriculum.
A source said, “They were just like normal parents.”
Brad had a special treat for Maddox after he finished his first day - he took him to see the New York Yankees’ baseball game later that evening.

Well, I can think of a few things really wrong: narcissistic, controlling, needy, clingy, ignorant, and no interests outside her own narrow little sphere. One gets monumentally bored with somebody like that in a very short time. I’m just surprised Brad stuck it out for five years.

Giving “tell-all” back to back interviews talking ONLY about you divorce and invite the whole world in it and making snarky remarks about your marriage in every T.V show is all great and cool. But Brad just ANSWERS two simple questions in an interview and all hell breaks loose.
He has the right to talk about his past. He lived it. It his f*cking life. Who the hell are you people to tell him what to do?? Why are you all so upset?? Of course he wanted to answer them. Why not?? Why to avoid it?? He is so over all this. He has no problem to talk about it. He is not effected in anyway shape or form by it to refuse to talk.
Brad could very easily use the victim card and play it all emotional devastated and a “poor me guy” that his wife was a career b*tch and that she lied to him. Or that she didn’t want to give him children and all that. He could took all of this to his own benefit and blame it on her. But he is not like his X. He doesn’t play games. He is a decent guy. He has no ill feelings about her and he said that he and his X had many problems to solve before he and Angelina became what they are now. Does ‘Jesse James’ Compare to ‘Yuma’?

Yesterday many of you read my article asking whether or not 3:10 to Yuma could spur on a comeback of the Western, and in the comments ‘Director866′ mentioned that I forgot to note the upcoming release of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (by the way D866, if you have seen it shoot me a user review to post). As a matter of fact I did, and I didn’t, forget to include Jesse James, but there was a reason for it, and since it was brought up and reviews are coming in as the film debuted at the Venice Film Festival, I figured we may as well start a little conversation.
First off, the reason I didn’t mention it in my Yuma article was because I don’t think it will affect the Western genre at all and that was the subject of that article. Good film or not, it seems like Jesse James is not going to be widely released as it is getting a limited release on September 21st in New York, Los Angeles, Austin and Toronto. It will then slowly be rolled out in other cities and the rate of its expansion I am sure depends on not only critical reviews, but audience reaction and word of mouth. Yuma, on the other hand, is expected to hit 2,500+ theaters this weekend as a major roll out, a bit different than the 10 or so theaters Jesse James will be seeing in its first frame. That said, there is some good word of mouth spreading already for the seemingly little/big film that could.
So far the only negative review for The Assassination of Jesse James, out of the six I will be referencing, comes from the never reliable Kirk Honeycutt at The Hollywood Reporter who uses words such as “self-indulgence”, “meandering”, “unstable” and “imbalance”. For the most part Honeycutt’s review makes me believe he really didn’t understand the picture, or at least didn’t understand the motivation of making it. He says, “It’s never clear to either man whether Robert [Ford] wants to be like Jesse or destroy Jesse or, somehow, become him.” He uses this as a negative, when I actually see this as a major positive.
Since I have not seen the film I have no idea whether one character is painted as a villain and the other a hero, or if this is simply the telling of a tale. However, mystery behind a character’s motivations, especially a character that even Honeycutt alludes to as a well drawn out one such as Robert Ford, I think is very interesting. Nothing is scarier or more intriguing than a character whose motivations can never quite be explained even though we feel we know so much about him/her. Here is how European-Films.net sees the exact same issue:
The ever lurking sense of danger between men carries an erotic charge that eventually spills over into the Talented Mr. Ripley school of attraction in which a hero (Greenleaf, or in this case James) is so admired by a young hanger-on (Ripley, Ford) that it is never clear whether he is in love with his hero or just in love with the idea of becoming this hero himself. (Like in Minghella’s take on Ripley, this crucial information comes to the fore in a scene involving the hero in a bathtub.)
Make of it what you will, but I am intrigued by this.
Just as every review, Honeycutt does admit that Casey Affleck turns in a great performance. On a side note, PopSyndicate’s reviewer does say that while “Affleck brings Ford to life commendably… there are times when he doesn’t seem fully connected to the part.”
Todd McCarthy at Variety (another reviewer that is frequently not to be trusted) says, “Affleck makes an indelible impression as the insecure, physically unprepossessing weakling who endures no end of humiliation, and eventually embodies the sort of nobody who has bloodied American history from time to time to insure his own immortality.”
Finally, ScreenDaily’s reviewer echoes the sentiments on Brad Pitt’s performance as Jesse James virtually the same as all the others compared to Affleck, “Pitt is good, Affleck revelatory, suggesting depths of yearning behind Ford’s impotent, craven exterior and growing in strength and confidence as James moves in the opposite direction, from genial power to haunted desperation.”
Outside of Honeycutt’s unstable meanderings of which he seems to flip-flop more than a Presidential candidate, there seems to be a consensus on the acting as well as the film itself. European-Films.net refers to the picture as a “captivating film that envelops the viewer for 155 minutes in a version of 1880s USA that recalls the serials and novels from the same era.” Yup, 155 minutes, and as the newly launched official site would lead us to believe they also say there “is a clear influence of director Terence Malick (The Thin Red Line, The New World) at work here.”
The Malick influence doesn’t surprise me one bit, I saw this coming after the first still (pictured above) was released of Pitt as Jesse James standing tall amidst a golden field. Just bouncing around the official site for a couple of minutes you almost feel like you are experiencing a Malick film; to me, this is a good thing. Jeffrey Wells at Hollywood-Elsewhere says, “As I watched Jesse James the closest atmospheric analogies among westerns I could think of were Terrence Malick’s Days of Heaven and Philip Borsos’ The Grey Fox.” Stunning visuals seemed to be something all six reviews agreed upon.
In an attempt not to accentuate all of the positives, there is one other noticeable negative mentioned among the five positive reviews and it comes from PopSyndicate who says:
The only real flaw of the film comes near the end. In the climactic scene, as Ford is about to shoot James in the back… the script and direction make it seem as if Jesse anticipates, and even encourages, the shooting. Whether this was done to cast James more clearly in the Christ role - as willing victim - and Ford as his Judas - who merely did what he had to do - or whether it was a choice made simply to soften the violent and vicious action of a cowardly man who ultimately betrayed his friend, is unclear, but it rings false… and it seems like a PC cheat to suggest otherwise. The fact is, by all accounts, Howard was a sniveling little coward who did what he did for his own benefit. Why not present the facts fairly?
I can’t combat this comment in the slightest since I am not a Jesse James historian. It does sound like something, however, that will be up to a viewer’s interpretation. Another way to look at it is to compare it once again to Honeycutt’s question of Ford’s motivations. Is it possible this is just another critic’s take on the vagaries of Affleck’s performance of Ford? Even ScreenDaily, when referring to the assassination scene wonders if Ford is “the fan who turns nasty - or the conflicted Judas figure compelled to shop the hero he worships.” I can’t wait to find out for myself and see if I have the same questions. Lord knows it at least makes for good conversation.
Finally, there are a couple of good things said about the score by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, who both put in work on last year’s great western The Proposition (iTunes link).
For the most part The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford sounds like a film vying for a few Oscar bids, while 3:10 to Yuma would be the Western to reinvigorate a genre that has stumbled since the late ’70s into virtual non-existence aside from a few hits here and there.
Jesse James (more here) hits theaters on September 21 in limited release, and you can check out 3:10 to Yuma (more here) this weekend as it goes wide September 7th.

“She’s really nice and generally liked by George’s friends,” a source close to the actor tells PEOPLE.
Clooney, 46, “couldn’t keep his hands off her” at Venice’s Hotel Cipriani, site of the afterparty for Clooney’s Michael Clayton, according to an observer.

Is Brad Pitt really as dumb as he sounds? The one-time golden boy of Hollywood is following the lead of what he seems to suggest is his mentor and life guide Angelina Jolie and with each interview sounds more foolish. One can only wonder how bad his NBC interview in New Orleans would have gone if he hadn’t have been interviewed by Pitt-Jolie groupie Ann Curry.

Her idea of a tough statement - “He’s so cute.” Now Pitt has made his own statement that life is way too short to stay with his wife of five years Jennifer Aniston when he was getting come hither looks from Angelina Jolie.

Then the dolt replied that they were still friends. Basically Brad claims that life with Jennifer was not enough to fill his ego and his new found sense of importance. He didn’t want to “sit on the couch” anymore. He would need a serial orphan adopter to make him feel better about himself. They can travel the world, get good press for what they believe is good deeds and live the life of luxury while lecturing others on how to live.
Sadly the Pitt-Jolie plan fell hard somewhere along that last adoption of Pax-Thien Jolie. Once they snagged that little kid out of the orphanage, many people seemed to turn on the couple. “Who’s gonna watch these kids,” people asked. That was the start of the Jolie-Pitt backlash. Now their films flop, and they are ridiculed.

Jolie tried to squash the criticism by saying that she would be a stay at home mom. That worked for about fifteen minutes as she hasn’t stopped working since. Now Pitt and Jolie are criticized for using the kids as props as they take them out whenever they have a movie to promote. And Pitt, well he’s still pimping that long awaited Jesse James western he believes is so important. So he and Maddox are at the game and he takes Zahara to the park.
But last I read, it’s going to be so bad at the box office that he had to put the inevitable “limited release” on it so it wouldn’t be compared to the last flop “A Mighty Heart.” Maybe Pitt set his goals too high, maybe he belongs on the couch.

Angie’s movies will do the same. AMH is starting to open overseas and the numbers will rise. Brad has had his say and hopefully has closure. Closure is good. Unfortunately I don’t think x has achieved that yet. One day hopefully she will. Moving on doesn’t necessarily mean closure. Being honest with oneself is the only way to achieve that. And I don’t think she has been honest with herself and others. There is just so much bitterness over these two people. Did Brad said in his interview that he and his X speak with each other daily?? NO! Did he said that she visits him or he visits her?? NO! Did he said that he still loves her?? NO!
All he did was letting the world know that by his position there is no animosity. He has left everything behind to where they belong and he moved forward.
Still maintain a deep friendship means still have no ill feeling towards each other. At least on his part.
Note to the fans: To the ones who believe that if Brad had the opportunity to talk about his past he would stand as low as his X did and start badmouthing her, think again!! Of course he wanted to answer them. Why not?? Why to avoid it?? He is so over all this. He has no problem to talk about it. He is not effected in anyway shape or form by it to refuse to talk.
Brad could very easily use the victim card and play it all emotional devastated and a “poor me guy” that his wife was a career b*tch and that she lied to him. Or that she didn’t want to give him children and all that. He could took all of this to his own benefit and blame it on her. But he is not like his X. He doesn’t play games. He is a decent guy. He acknowledges that they were the ones responsible for what happened. Not Angelina. Some people will just prefer to commit a suicide that to accept that simple fact. Hens all this anger and bitterness.
There was no reason for him not to answer. He holds no regrets or pettiness inside him and he looks forward to the future.
Now as for the X none can be sure. We haven’t heard any good or decent word from her mouth since the divorce. I hope she has moved on but something tells me that she hasn’t.

Wow I can’t believe all the ranting and raving over a grown woman worth 110 million dollars. I guess a few hens did not like the interview BP gave. I think JA is a big girl and can stand up for herself. BP and JA were married, not her fans and bystanders who want to put in their 2 cents. I think he knows his marriage better than the bitter hens harping all day on a blog. The marriage is over. BP speaks fondly of his ex and still regard their time together favorably and one of friendship. What is the problem? Would it have been better if he aired all the dirty laundry in the marriage? He took the high role and for that a few posters are upset. Whatever, you cannot please everybody. You can only live your life and be true to yourself. You can call it what you want, damage control, PR, etc. However, at the end of the day he goes home to AJ and their 4 adorable children. If the price to pay for such a loving family is a few fickle fans, then BP came out ahead in the bargain. Maybe what is bothering some bitter hens is that BP did not suffer enough in their eyes. It makes me wonder want evil and nasty thoughts they are throwing Vince Vaughn and the boytoy way. BP and AJ keep rising to the top despite smear tactics, lies and angry hens. Thanks Poi for the links. Beautiful pictures, I think the book is too expensive for me. It’s around $600.00 dollars. A collectives pictures of all
