I’m going to be disappointed if those are the choice quotes from V interview. It sucks that everyone’s focused on the “friendship” quote even though he says nice thing about shooting Jesse James because of Angie’s pregancy, it just gets buried. Even in that People article. I think we as fans are trying to cheer up ourselves with the “Great love” comment but it is off putting how in the important interviews(the ones that will get media play not some random Italian news show), Brad talks about Angie only in relation to children and charity.

I think Jen and Brad were right for each other at the time they were initally together. I think they were madly in love. Had he done MAMS when he and Jen first got together, or at the beginning of the marriage, he and Angie would have never been a couple. Apparently, Brad and Jen evolved into something that neither of them wanted to work hard enough to deal with. Best of luck to all-

Some in the USA tabloid media have their own agenda. That “blob” comment was not done in the US, but everyone in the US tabloid media quoted it.

The US tablies are even quoting Angie’s fake interviews (tabloid stuff) in the foreign press, but unfortunate they would not quote “GREAT LOVE” quote of Brad.

Nothing that Brad says will satisfy some people. He can scream “I love you Angie” 1000 times a day and they will not stop their whining. They will complain about the tone of his voice or something else. They are substituting what they want for what Angelina wants from Brad. They are basically unhappy that Angelina appears perfectly happy with Brad. They are unhappy with today’s Angelina, and want the version of Angeina they have in their minds to return.

Brad is notorious for saying little or nothing. When is the last time he has gone on a talk show? How often does he sit down for any type of interview unless he has a movie to promote? How often has he actually described anything of his personal life at all?

Now in a major departure from his customary behavior he does two magazine interviews and reveals more of his personal life that ever before. He does an interview in Italy and says Angelina is my great love, my best friend. Note he said his best friend. This demonstrates to me that he really truly loves Angelina and that they are extremely close to one another. That he wants people to know that. That he wants all to know that no triange ever existed. That he has stepped up to the plate and let all know that his happy golden marriage was a facade, that he and the ex mutually decided that the marriage had failed and was over, that Angelina was not a homewrecker in any way shape or form, that he chased after Angelina, that Angelina was hesitant to get involved with him. The tabs and blogs will spin and twist what Brad has said and that is the way it is. But what is important is that this intensely private man has publicly declared his love for his lady in words as well as in his actions.

If Brad was all about PR for AOJJ he would not have revealed what he did. He had to know that just the mention of the ex would bring out the miserable with their knives to cut him into tiny pieces. But it appears that he thought that it was time for him to speak, to get his viewpoint and thoughts out in public, and that is what he did. He spoke of the ex in a respectful way, he acknowledged their time together and shared past. He was way more respectful of her than she has been toward him. The deep friendship refers to that shared past.

What has set the bees off is his description of his life with the ex, the unhappiness, the dissatisfaction, the lack of focus, the lack of any shared goals. This is to them a gross violation of their image of this perfect marriage.

Now those that wordsmith all he says are the same that wordsmith all Angelina says and they will continue to do so. But it was time for Brad to speak and he has done so. The ex has been firmly put in her place in his life, in his past.

Brad said he handled his personal life concerning the divorce the best way he knew how to. That’s all any of us are able to do.

Americans reports ASK him about angelina but he chooses to say things that are not relevant like angelina does. When he has the open chance to say something, he takes time to protect Jen, himself and his mom.. and angelina can still get trashed for all he cares.

Angelina didn’t create the circus. The Vietnamese adoption agency spokesperson and the press created the circus. Poor Angie gets blamed for every damn thing. Feel for her. Peace.

The American media is all about the benjamins, in other words money. Look at how they treat troubled people Britney Spears and now Owen Wilson. No sympathy or understanding, just pursuit. This is why they screamed trouble with Brad and Angelina when none existed. They print whatever they think will drive up their sales. It does not matter whether it is the truth or not, it is all abut money.
