Jennifer Lopez spices things up as David LaChapelle directed the diva in the video for her new single “Do It Well”.
Jennifer has said of the video: “It’s basically me, coming into this situation where people are oppressed in a way, and kind of being a liberator, like setting everybody free but beating everybody up.”

it wasnt THAT bad…rather catchy but yes, the tune can get very boring afterwards. as for the video, i dont have much to say about that.
What the f#%K did I just watch?
I wanted to see it cause I really do like JLO, it’s a little much don’t you think… just not her style, it totally does not compliment her.
Oh well, I still really like her old stuff.
It is very bland…nothing to it. Without the video it may sound like a pre-school song.
Is David LaChapelle trying to tank her career? I admit I am not into her, but this is pure trash. She must be desperate to even agree to something like this, and where is skeletor in letting her think this is marketable?
Many people will have negative things to say no matter what kind of video she does but I think its ok to give your opion but if you don’t care for don’t watch just like you wouldn’t eat spinich if you didn’t like it. Although most people who dish on others all the time whether famous or not it is either that your bored with your life or jelous. But back to J-Lo shes rich and beatiful and talented and shes still, her thing, for quite a long time and like I don’t care for Avril, I don’t watch, I don’t listen.
Meg - how could we have known how ridiculous this video would be (the songs okay) unless we watched it first? That’s the only way to form an opinion about it. It has nothing to do with being bored with our lives or jealous. It just plain sucked.

Dis SONG IS EXCELLENT!!! But the video.. I get where she is coming from Though. She is trying to tell girls (if yu read HER latest news) that what they do during these few past years and now is just riduclious.
Like with guys nd stuff, I understand her. But the video is just not good for teenagers or other people, who IDOL her.
Her other songs HAVE BEEN GR8 HIT SONGS, LUV EM!!!
But this one has jus squashed all her work. If she worked her ass of in this clip dancing, I don’t see very much dancing.
David LaChapelle has just screwed her work up! Take him to COURT saying that he screwed your work up J.LO cuz this (sorry) but this is just NOT a #1 Hit.

OMG…doin it well is the exact opposite of what j-lo is doing. i didnt want to believe that she could put out a bad video. i actually like her. but WOW! the fat thing in bed with no pants on, the chik in the hamster wheel, ugly dood in cage??? and what is up with her HAIR! that bun thing on top of her head has got to go! CUT-IT-OUT.

Brutal!!! JLO quality!…When have you seen a almost 40 year old looking, dancing and singing in such a hot way! I just wish Madonna would copy more of JLO style, glamour and sexiness…only then, JLO would have real competition. Eat your heart out pale/tasteless/boring critics!
