I don’t feel bad because this picure was released, I feel bad because, like so many other girls today, she has bad judgment. If you’re an up-and-comer in Hollywood and you’re currently earning a living by projecting a wholesome image and someone wants to take naughty photos of you? Just say NO.

When will celebs learn that unless you’re comfortable with the possibility/probability of everyone one day seeing your nakedness then DO NOT take naked pictures. EVER. Seriously, not even if they are just for you yourself to look at & admire in your own home, someone, someday will find those pictures & post them in papers & across the internet, it’s inevitable these days, sad but inevitable. I must admit that I’m extremely disappointed about this because I honestly thought that this was a false rumor. The reality is that Vanessa is a young adult who made a foolish mistake. I’m not going to berate her, chastise her or judge her because I don’t believe I have a right to do that because I’m not perfect either. I still have the utmost respect for her because she took the high road and is admitting to the world that made a terrible mistake instead of trying to deny it or cover it up. An adult accepts responsibility for their actions and deals with the consequences as she is doing right now. I’m sure she is already suffering intense scrutiny and backlash because of this unfortunate incident and it’s shameful that so many people are treating her so badly. I know not a single person can honestly say that they don’t have any skeletons in their closet. We are all human and we are prone to making bad choices and decisions in our lives. Unfortunately, celebrities have theirs broadcast in front of the world. I’m still a loyal fan of Vanessa’s and will continue to support her career. I believe she’s a great girl with a good heart and an immense amount of talent. This is a hard lesson in life that she has to overcome and hopefully the most drastic she’ll ever have to face in the public spotlight or in her private life. My thoughts, prayers and best wishes go out to her in this difficult time.

Whoever says Zac’s going to leave her for his own career is not thinking clearly. If they break up during a scandal the tabloids will read “Zac leaves Hudgens in her hour of need.” and acticles will say “The picture was taken to interest Zac, Vanessa was so madly in love with the boy she’d do anything to make him happy. I really feel genuinely sad for Vanessa. I think she is a great actress, an amazing singer & a wonderful person. This story & picture has definately not changed my view of her at all. She’s still a very sweet girl, and this picture should not reflect her as a person. There are so many people who take such images of themselves & it doesn’t make them trashy. If she was trashy, she would have taken raunchy photos & sold them for money. This is extremely private, and whoever leaked these photos is a very disrespectful, rude person. I really hate this for her, and I hope Disney does not harm their relationship with Vanessa because of this. I know I would be devistated if private photos of myself were leaked. Look, first of all, Jared: whilst I know this blog is for celebrity gossip and whatnot, you (and every other site like yours) should respect Vanessa’s privacy. Vanessa is only 18, and right now at the height of her career, is the worst possible time for something like this to happen. As a big fan of Vanessa, I would’ve thought your post would’ve shown more support. Remember, Vanessa did say that she wanted you to “say nice things” about her on jj. I know you’re only reporting the truth, but does she really need more bad publicity? However, you did not extend to posting the pics, or a link to them, so for that I applaud you.

As for the pics themselves, they do not look recent at all. They were most probably taken even before HSM1. So, maybe around 14,15. As a 18 year old girl myself, and having been a 15 year old once, I know the experimental stage that V seems to be going through in these pics. In this stage I would also resort by taking underwear pics, for self esteem issues etc. This kind of thing is just for personal reassurance, and something I would never dream of doing now. Plus, it would make more sense for V as a 15 yr old to take them without the intent of them ever resurfacing. All in all, she did not film a porn movie, or snort cocaine, and I’m sure V is not the only celebrity (let alone teenager) to have taken private photos like this.

I doubt there is any way she would have taken these photos after she has acheived celebrity status and after she is adored by billions of children and teenagers around the world, knowing that her reputation and career would be at risk.

I know this does not excuse for the pics, and she will understandably lose some of her fans, and perhaps support from Disney. Regardless, her fans must show support. She is only very young, and has the rest of her life and career ahead of her. Remember how difficult it must be for her at this time, to have to deal with the mistakes she made in the past. Imagine having to face her parents, friends and her fans after this. Had she not been a celebrity, she would not have to deal with this issue. Her fans must show the support that she truly needs right now, and this includes positive messages (including from you, Jared).

Since her camp has already comfirmed that these are real photos of her, I doubt Vanessa will make a statement to the press. The only chance to hear from Vanessa would be if she were on a talk show i.e. Jay Leno, David Letterman, etc and was asked about it. It’s better she not address it herself, if she does, it will just make it a bigger deal than it already is. If she’s quiet, eventually it will fade away….

It is a real shame that this had to happen. I am a father of an 11 yr old girl who worships her. We both saw the 1st and 2nd HSM movies and truly loved them.
