Angelina & Zahara’s Matching Bags
Like mother, like daughter!
Angelina Jolie takes two of her children — Pax, 3, and Zahara, 2 — to a New York City park on Friday morning.
Angelina wore matching handbags with Princess Zee — mommy and daughter’s versions of the white Valentino braided leather shoulder bag.

I was with my friend Cathy and our kids at the Carl Schulz Park (on the Upper East Side of Manhattan). At around 10 AM we moved over to a different playing area, where my friend showed some recognition like she knew someone.
As I looked closer I saw a woman who looked a lot like Angelina Jolie — but she was so inconspicuous, standing on the climbing frame with Zahara. They also didn’t really have a crowd around them. Angelina was there with Zahara and Pax and a bodyguard.
They moved over to the monkey bars and slides and at that point, she had a rather large crowd of people — at a slight distance, snapping pictures with their phones. Angelina was playing with the kids, really hands on. She went down the slide with Z on her knee and Pax next to her, and was helping Pax go down the ladder and across the monkey bars.
The kids were running around (not really noticing the crowds!) wanting to go again and again on the slide etc. Angelina didn’t really react to the crowds either — but she didn’t ignore them. She was busy with playing with her kids. It was nice to see her kids playing side by side with all the park go-ers, going down the slide with them etc.
As they were leaving the park they walked right by us and smiled. At this hour of the morning there are a lot of babies with nannies and moms. I heard people calling their friends/family and telling them (I guess just like I did)!

V is not out yet where I live or I would have already bought it. I think they look adorable with their matching purses.
I was very feminine like as child and had a bag at 2 ! I have pictures with them. My parents used to say that I was like a little lady adn people ussually call me a little doll or a little princess, imitating my mum, crossing my little legs when sitting on a chair, just like her, spying her when she was dressing ip dreaming to dress like her and grown quickly, to put all the enhancement like clothes, high heels, make-up like mama was doing.
That’s typical of girls Zahara age. they imitate and empathy to their mother wanting to emulate mummy as well as being the biggest attention of daddy.
She his discovering and perceiving her gender and diffrence or reaction as boys versus girls. She will definitely ask to have a dress like mommy, a bag like mommy and I am pretty sure that her demands will be adressed to Brad first and foremost. Hell, i can picture her wearing a nice little dress and going to her father to ask him if she is pretty (LOL). Typical of a 2-4 years little girl

Did you see all those celebs at the New York fashion shows on JJ’s blog? You think they actually buy the clothing? They are given to them for free or are loaners to wear for one event then given back to the designer.

Oh here we go again another playdate for Zahara. AND where is Shiloh, I’ll ask again. We all know she favors this child probably even more than Maddox. I think she needs to adopt a teenager next to help out with holding the kids since she can only handle 2 children at a time (these days it’s pax and z). How can they handle one more when she only has 2 arms and insists on carrying them everywhere. AND does a 3 year old really need a designer bag, knock off or otherwise? Give it a break. It seems as if these sites are trying to generate hits by pissing off many, many Angie and Brad fans. So, one way of ensuring less negative coverage of Angie and Brad is not to post on these sites. Did anyone see Se7en last night? It was still, more than ten years later, very scary and very good. I noticed for the first time that Brad has quite the lips in this film. Hi, all JP fans, you got to read this interview. I have never seen it before. It is so good. The part I like most:

WOW! I was thinking about it today.
I go to Carl Schurlz park every weekend morning with my puppy. I was daydreaming we would meet them there tomorrow since they’ve been to different parks in the City.

I’ve come to the conclusion that most of the slags whining about them being out and about with their children and travelling are probably the ones who have, or will in the future, parked their kids in front of the tv to play video games, watch cartoons and eat junk food so that they can be online bashing this lovely family.
Sane, intelligent people who know anything about raising children properly undestand that children need fresh air, field trips to museums and zoos, books, art, music etc., and that travelling and going to excellent schools that teach several languages are only going to make them better, more productive adults. Why would you deprive your children of all that if you have the means? And if you don’t have the means, why wouldn’t you get your butt off the computer, quit b*tching, and find a way to provide that for your own children???

Hi Guli! Oh yes, and a big hello to A2BAMPZS!!!(that’s the abbr. I came up with ;-) ) I feel so bad about that too.
So how did the depo go? Worse than a trip to the dentist? Hope it wasn’t too horrible. Well, now it’s over, it’s Friday, and time to put your feet up and enjoy! :D I’m trying to get everyone psyched up for the TIFF and the red carpet tomorrow night!
LMFAO at some of the trolls criticizing Zee’s new purse but obsessed with 3 yr. old Pax’s hair. Leave the kid alone - so his hair is a little oily - considering that he’s no longer sitting in an orphanage in Vietnam in a room with 30 other kids, I’m sure it’s a vast improvement for him. Many asians have oily hair and if he has a bath at night his hair is probably just a bit oily the next day. Do you really think he’s concerned about??? Sheesh, my Mom couldn’t get within 5 feet of my brother with a comb in her hand when I was growing up. Get over it and STFU.

How do you know the parents spend very little alone time with Shi? Unless you live in their household, you CANNOT make that comment. So far, all the pictures which have seen are only showing 1-2 hours of Mad, Pax, and Z in the playground , the toystore, or the bookstore. NEITHER Brad nor Angie spent the WHOLE DAY outside with these kids.
Unless you can prove Brad or Angie spending the WHOLE day with the older siblings EXCLUSIVELY , your post is totally baseless.
Spending alone time does not mean one has to go to the playground or been seen alone in public . The bottom line is alone time. It can be achieved at home. The most important thing is, what is best for Shi. If giving her alone time at home is the best for her, by all means, that’s the way it should be. Why take her out just to please you !!! Brad/Angie are good parents. They will give Shi the best.
Both Angie and Brad said they give each kid alone time. Why cant you accept that? But nope !!! You hate them, therefore, you have to smear them.
There could be many reasons why we dont see Shi at the playground.
If you look at the nature of the outing, the older siblings are playing slides, swing, and running around in the park. Shi is only 15 months. She is not quite ready for these activities.
Another thing is, Shi still needs napping. Sometimes it’s hard to match her schedule with the older siblings. It’s very possible Angie waited until Shi is almost napping, then she makes use of the time to take Pax and Z out.
I can think of many instances that when Z was as young as Shi, she was ABSENT in many of the outing activities when Brad/Angie took Mad outside.

This hater faked her concern that Shi was not seen much. Let me tell you, it’s the AGE !!!! You should read any child developmental book. Children this young, makes a big difference in a lot of the motor skills, and daily schedule. It is this daily schedule which dictates how convenient it is to take them outside the house.
A child 12 months is totally different from a child 11 months or 13 months old even it is only a month apart. Also, sometimes the child may have a cold or ear infection. As any mother knows, it’s better to let the child rest at home.
1) Shiloh, only 15 months old as of today, still takes at least 2 naps a day. Sometimes, it would be very inconvenient to haul her out when it’s so close to her nap time. Ask any mother, they will tell you. But of course, those low life tab magazines which sells to tweenies wont know enough to tell the difference.
2) If you look at the following URL, you will notice that while Mad was in many of the outings , Z was not BECAUSE she was too young at that time . Note her age when she was absent on those outings and also note what kind of outing it was and decide for yourself if that was necessary to bring her along.
3) One hater mentioned that we saw a lot of Z in India. Again, think about Z’s age !!!! age !!! Z was like 21 months old while they were in Mumbai. Still, if you go to the archive, you’ll notice she was absent in the 1st rickasaw ride in India.
4) I’m sure once Shiloh takes fewer naps and has a longer awake time, she will be seen in many of the children’s outings.
5) You haters just want to smear Angie and bring her down. How pathetic !!!

While I am sure most of you have good intentions, I must say I am somewhat alarmed at the verocity of the “good will” posts on this thread. This thread bothers me to the extent that I cannot help but compare it to a “cult” mentality, bordering on “stalking” and a “worship” that is elevating myself and my family to a stratosphere that I am by no means comfortable with. I was very feminine like as child and had a bag at 2 ! I have pictures with them. My parents used to say that I was like a little lady adn people ussually call me a little doll or a little princess, imitating my mum, crossing my little legs when sitting on a chair, just like her, spying her when she was dressing ip dreaming to dress like her and grown quickly, to put all the enhancement like clothes, high heels, make-up like mama was doing.
That’s typical of girls Zahara age. they imitate and empathy to their mother wanting to emulate mummy as well as being the biggest attention of daddy.
She his discovering and perceiving her gender and diffrence or reaction as boys versus girls. She will definitely ask to have a dress like mommy, a bag like mommy and I am pretty sure that her demands will be adressed to Brad first and foremost. Hell, i can picture her wearing a nice little dress and going to her father to ask him if she is pretty (LOL). Typical of a 2-4 years little girl

Does anyone kmow whether Angie is getting a degree in Internatonal Law.
Agggrrrhhhh! I can’t stand to see babies in designer labels (and yes, I’m talking to you too Tomkat)! As if they need to be wearing expensive clothing. They’re kids people! Their clothes wear and tear and they grow out of them before you know it. Looks like a bit of conspicuous consumption to me. I’m sure the cost of those bags could have fed a hundred orphans for a week in Africa. Sorry, but I’ve lost some respect.

I never thought that I would end up being a fan of Angelina Jolie, but after these scarity cat interviews of Brad Pitt (my old idol), I am more and more fond of her,and honestly I just don’t know how I feel about him or what he is all about any more. Sorry Brad fans.

After Jane’s visit when brad’s brother said that Jen and Brad were still friends so why shouldn’t they be her fans rejoiced. It was great, Brad didn’t hate JA like the B/A fans were saying, the family still loved her. Now all of a sudden Brad repeats the same thing and their is a problem. Which makes me think it isn’t the friends line that is a problem it is everything else he said. That his marriage wasn’t working, that he and JA talked about it so it wasn’t a surprise, that Angie wasn’t the cause of the split, that Angie is his great love etc…… Had he said none of those things and just said he and jen shared a friendship it would be none of this hate going on. It is his calling the marriage what it was (thus calling JA on her ****) for everyone to read that is the problem on top of his comments about Angie.

I dunno why the haters are so concerned on Angelina’s weight. We fans acknowledge she’s slim but we do not scream about her weight becuase we’ve known that she always be on smaller frame.

Did people ever think , it has been 2 years since the judge signed the divorce decree (divorce decree was signed 8/19/05) , may be he felt 2 years is enough time to give respect to this marriage. Now, 2 years later, or may be 3 years from the time separation was announced, it’s time to straighten the facts.
Whatever it is, I am glad he did the interview. I’ve come to RESPECT him even more.

I don’t know if Angie is officially pursuing a degree in International Law, but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit. She is definitely studying it in relation to her appointment to the Council on Foreign Relations. Go Angie!!

Angelina hardly ever keeps the gifts given to them especially from people she doesn’t know but if she accepted this one because little Zee might be pleased with it then I have an even greater respect for her. Desgner or not, anything that you think your daughter might enjoy is worth it if you can get it.

Will someone please explain why celebs often carry children capable of walking.
Is it to protect them from the pests and loonies? Is it to bring them more or less to the same height as the adult in order to provide a better photo op?
Iris - if you’ve been reading this thread at all you would see that Valentino made this especially for Zee and I doubt Angie paid for it - it was most likely a gift to her. Talk about great advertising!
As for their clothing - most of it is very classic, well made pieces that are not ‘trendy’. And it is no secret to her fans that the kids wear their older siblings hand me downs. That is about as close to normal as any Hollywood couple is going to get and I admire them for that. Nevermind that we see Angie wear the same shoes and everyday clothes over and over, and so does Brad. They are not wasteful in that regard whatsoever.
When they pull out all the stops for the red carpet I enjoy it even more because of their sensibility in their daily wear.
