Disney Backs Vanessa Hudgens
Disney is speaking out on the Vanessa Hudgens nude photo scandal.
“Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment,” said Disney Channel spokeswoman Patti McTeague. “We hope she’s learned a valuable lesson.”
Vanessa apologized earlier today for the photos, which show her smiling as she posed naked and in underwear in a bedroom with a red curtain behind her.
Negotiations are ongoing for the High School Musical 3 feature film — including Vanessa and co-star boyfriend Zac Efron.
Disney may offer Miss Hudgens significantly less money because of this unfortunate scandal but my guess is Mister Efron will have none of that. Touche!

Good, Disney did the right thing for once. She made a mistake, HUGE mistake but a mistake and I would much rather she make a mistake like this than doing what many of the other “stars” are playing at like taking heroin or committing a DUI (which I hope and pray she is not doing). The girl is in her birthday suit for pete’s sake. Get over it. It isn’t like she intentionally posed for Playboy or was filmed having sex in the men’s bathroom at the high school.
I really hope I will never become a parent that would flip out over something like this because the actress was supposed to be a “role model”. She signed a contract with Disney, she did not sign on to be a nun.

I will support Vanessa Hudgens all the way..I will be behind her 10000000000000000000000000% No matter what it takes and she still is my role model. I don’t care about those stoopid pictures. All i know it that right now shes is going through a rough time. Whatever you haters might be thinking of her right now is just ridiculous!! Love out to Vanessa Hudgens. I’m really glad to hear that her close friends are still supporting her and by close friends i hope they mean the Hsm Cast. The rumours about her being removed from Disney was just a whole load of crap. Disney are backing her up and so should everyone else!

My guess is that if they say she can’t do HSM3 or over her less money (alot less) then there’ll be problems with Zac’s agreement too. Then Disney will be in alot of bother.
I hope they sort this out. I support Nesaa 100%, after all everyone is allowed to make a mistake once in a while.

I think that this was SOOOO stupid of her, and even though im a fan, i really dont know why any of you are supporting her! like she needs to realise that she is NOT normal teenager, and that she is in a posisition where lots of young girls look up to and respect her, like what did she think was going to happen, did she really think that they wuld never get leaked?!?!?! im sorry, it just frustrates me that these celebrities think that they can do whatever they want with any consequences! I really hope that disney doesnt support her because she needs to take the good with the bad and accept what she has done and accept all the negativity and bad press thatb is going to her way. it will all pass in time and career will be brighter than ever, but for now she needs to suffer, just like Paris did, and just any celebrity does when this happens

How sick is it that someone took such pleasure in victimizing an innocent 18 yr. old??? I want to know why people like this aren’t prosecuted. Vanessa is a lovely young lady and sadly had to learn the world is not always a place you can trust. She did the right thing admitting her mistake in taking the pictures. She should hold her head up, and know that she has wonderful friends, fans, family, and a guy who are supportive and love her. Shame on those self-righteous parents who don’t realize yet that experimentation is a normal part of young adults lives. How would you feel if your daughter had been victimized like this?? Explain to your children that the photos were in fun and not meant to be shown to anyone, and be done with it. Disney did the right thing….Troy and Gabriella’s story would not be the same without
Zac and Vanesssa. Their feelings for each other shine on the screen, and I venture to think these movies would never have been as good without that chemistry. Disney would have disappointed millions of fans by changing anything.
Good luck to Vanessa……this will make her stronger and wiser, and she will surely be humbled by the support she will receive!!
@ 85 and 107 I don’t think parents even have to tell their kids about this cos the kids are going to hear it at school anyhow. So I doubt parents are rushing to tell their kids, their just waiting for them to come home after hearing it from their friends or at school and ask questions as to why would she do this.
@ 95 Yes we all came into this world like that, but who takes pictures of it and posts it on the internet??? That has nothing to do with this issue and that can’t justify this issue either! I don’t think people who find this morally wrong are being prudes, I think they are concerned that Vanessa had nude pictures of herself taken at a young age, possibly 14-15 yrs old, that is not OK for children to do! No, in europe it might be a serious problem, possibly a crime, cos of the age she was at the time of the photos, not a HAHA moment.

truth be told, anyone who has seen the photos knows vanessa was underage when she took them (her makeup and hair appear to be around the time ‘thunderbirds’ was in the theaters). whether this was a publicity stunt gone awry, i’m sorry to say that vanessa has lot a huge majority of her tween fanbase in lieu of old pervs. it’s true though, this ’scandal’ is minute compared to those by other celebrity counterparts her age. i wish vanessa the best, cause i’m sure this will all be overshadowed by britney’s performance on the vma’s this sunday.
