Disney Backs Vanessa Hudgens
Disney is speaking out on the Vanessa Hudgens nude photo scandal.
“Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment,” said Disney Channel spokeswoman Patti McTeague. “We hope she’s learned a valuable lesson.”
Vanessa apologized earlier today for the photos, which show her smiling as she posed naked and in underwear in a bedroom with a red curtain behind her.
Negotiations are ongoing for the High School Musical 3 feature film — including Vanessa and co-star boyfriend Zac Efron.
Disney may offer Miss Hudgens significantly less money because of this unfortunate scandal but my guess is Mister Efron will have none of that. Touche!

I agree! I share the same thoughts. I too have experienced things I regretted doing in my past teen years and hurt people I loved, which made them stray away from me. But, That was short lived as I grew up, realized I wanted to better myself. I forgave myself and moved on and live the life I am happy and proud of today. I now have a better relationship with those people who turned away from back then. They’ve forgiven me and saw the changes for better in me.
Don’t ever give up Vanessa! I wish you well.

I hate what this beautiful young lady is going through right now.
I think that it is pretty safe to say that she was under 18 when these photos were taken but no matter what her age was it is just wrong that they are all over the internet.
I honestly cannot blame her for going to Oz with Zac rather than JKL. Hopefully, this scandal will fade once Ms. Spears pulls whatever crazy stunt she plans to pull at the VMAs tomorrow nite. Until then I just wish that people would stop calling her a *****/*****/**** etcetcetc. She made a mistake. It is as simple as that! Everyone makes mistakes. Some are worse than others and I think that this in NO way even begins to compare to some of the other Hollywood “role models” that there are out there now and some of the crazy **** that they have done!!
Vanessa is VERY lucky to have some very loyal fans out there and she should not lose any sleep over the ones that she may have lost.
Her apology over this incident was a VERY mature and appropriate reaction. She and her camp could have very easily denied that the photos were authentic as there were plenty of people disputing it when they were released Thursday but they owned up to it and she apologized. It is time to move on!!
Disney apparently has more sense than I thought they would in deciding to back her on this and still consider her for HSM3- as a poster above said w/ out V they will lose fans and more than likely lose Zac as he is mostly doing this for her. And definitely if they lose Zac the HSM franchise will greatly suffer.
I really, truly hope that the buzz about this will have died down by the time that Vanessa comes home bc right now all I can think is that this sucks terribly for her and her family (especially Stella)

Everybody who keeps saying how Zac should break up with Vanessa should wrap their head around this fact: Celebrities don’t take advice from message boards. If celebrities actually cared about what message boards said about them and acted upon that: John Cena would’ve learned a new finishing move, Lindsay lohan would stop drinking, and David Beckham would go back to England. Do you Know why these things haven’t happened? Because Celebrities don’t take advice from message boards.
So Stop saying how Celebrities should run their lives, and start suggesting to Jared (you da man) on what stories to follow, what sources sound reliable and what you think about this in terms of celebrities image and career. Oh Wait you guys won’t do that, because nobody who post on celebrity message boards takes advice from them.

Soo glad to hear Disney stick with her! I was sad when I saw the story about the pictures. I can’t believe someone could do that. Hopefully, they find out who it was and make them pay. They need to take those pictures down and stop spreading them!!

Of course I support her. What she does in her bedroom is her business, no one else’s. If they’re a fan with a fansite, they wouldn’t post the picture of her like that. They seriously need to take down those pictures though and stop the spread. Punish the one who leaked it in the first place!!
