Jake Gyllenhaal and co-star Reese Witherspoon (rumored to have become romantically involved since shooting this film together last year) chat up taut political thriller Rendition during the Toronto International Film Festival 2007 held at the Sutton Place Hotel on Friday in Toronto, Canada.
Reese and Jake kept it professional the whole way through, sitting with two people between them. They don’t even share a single scene together throughout the movie. Sadness!
“She is a wonderful actress and it would’ve been nice to work with her,” Jake says. Reese was also disappointed. “I found out I was doing a movie with Jake Gyllenhaal and didn’t have any scenes with him — darn it! But hopefully it opens up room for us to do a movie together.”
When asked about the possible off-screen romance, Reese told ET, “At this point it’s all just funny. It’s crazy and funny how much people can make stuff up. I’m actually interested to hear what they say next.”
Jake also says the rumors funny. “There are a lot of very interesting rumors swirling around all the time that you just have to have fun with,” he says. “The interest is flattering but funny too.”

I’m sorry, but they don’t match well.
They are not a couple. Once again it’s well known among people in the business… Regular folks let themselves fooled.
They’re not dating, it’s only PR stunt.

PR stunt. It’s good for them. They want to keep this fake romance alive to have their names in tabloids.

TMZ.com has a video of Jake coming out of a restaurant in Toronto and being picked up by a black suv and Reese is in there waiting for him.
If it’s a publicity stunt you’d think they would be flaunting their hookup in front of the paparazzi. But instead their hiding it.
Reese is not in the SUV - it’s Jake’s PA.

Sometimes Reese is very pretty and sometimes she is just so strange-looking and unattractive…sort of like here.

The woman in the car was covering her face when the paps started taking pictures. Why would his PA do that when she’s not even a celebrity?
You migth want to check out Reese’s IMDb page. A member there said that the Toronto Press is reporting that Reese and Jake are seen arriving at these events at the same time.
I really don’t care if their together. I think Reese Witherspoon is a beautiful, talented woman. And if Jake makes her happy then it’s all good.
JUST FOR THE RECORD JAKE AND REESE ARE NOT A COUPLE, VERY OBVIOUS DURING TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL.
If they are together time will only tell if it’s true why not just say so all the coy game playing. If she didn’t smile as if she had 2 pom poms and ready to do a backward flip she would look better but either way she is boring, an ok actress at best.He can do better and hopefully he’ll realize that he is cool/fun and laid back she is NOT. Who knows maybe he is anal (no pun intended) as well and bit too serious but I don’t think so.

ITS ALL A BIG COVER UP. They are on a professional business trip right now. Of course we aren’t going to see anything. They will keep everything all in private behind closed doors. You have to be smart enough to see right through all of this. They have neither agreed or denied their relationship.
