I agree with Amanda and Ella. I am so proud of her for taking it the way she is and apologizing to the people that do admire and look up to her. I feel so bad for her and I hope it all blows over

i feel so bad for the girl! i mean shes obviously not a hoe, shes been with the same guy for like 2 years now! was it smart to take the pictures in the first place? no. celebs should have that figured out by now, but whatev. they were obviously taken in private, it looks like her bedroom or a dressing room so its not like she went and posed for Playboy! i just hope this doesnt hurt her career! despite the pics, i still think that she is a good role model for young girls, especially in the hollywood world that consists of the paris’ and britneys!

Why doesn’t everyone just leave her alone theres no need to bash her. She just doesnt deserve this. At least she owned up to and apoligized. I think i respect her more now then ever. She stood up accepted resbonsibility for her actions and didnt back down like so many other young starlets would have. She acted like an adult and shes more of a role model to me now for not acting like a coward but instead acting like a very sorry young woman. I’m so proud of her and I personally am 100% behind her!

I do have to admit, I recently haven’t loved Vanessa at all. The feeling I got from her wasn’t good, and after I found out about the photos a week or whatever ago, I totally disliked her.

it’s really hard. i mean i feel bad for her, she totally had her privacy violated. i’m sure that she is absolutely mortified. this is the world we live in now, young girls think this is acceptable, NORMAL behavior. I mean look at Antonella Barbara from American Idol, look at the Miss Teen USA scandal - girls now a days think that this type of behavior is perfectly acceptable, the norm - and they think nothing of taking photos of it all. I guess when I was growing up, we didn’t have all this technology that makes it so much easier nowadays.

however, on the other side of the coin - i am a mother with young children who look up to this person. i pray that they don’t hear anything in school about there being pictures of vanessa nude on the internet. how do you explain that? i realize it wasn’t her intent for these to ever get out, but whomever made these public should be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. I mean, parents have to try and sheild their kids from this because it just destroys the whole HSM magic when one of the stars of the movie has this floating around out there.

This whole thing is just sad. True, she made a stupid mistake and even though she’s got a lot of supoort from her fans, its obvious to say she would have lost a lot aswell. Its all well and honourable that she’s apologised but she’s put herself out there as a rolemodel for young girls (esp coming under the Disney franchise) and i guess thats what has everyone so freaked about this which is completely understandable. I’d like to point out that Vanessa shed very little on her personal life. We didn’t see much behind closed doors. She was very hush hush about everything. But the very first glance we ever get of what Vanessa really does when the Disney cameras aren’t rolling, is pron.

To me, that says a lot about her character. Simply apologizing won’t make up for all the damage she’s caused, the respect and dignity she’s lost. As a girl between the ages of thirteen-eighteen, I gotta say I have not once ever thought of taking pictures of myself naked. It never even occured to me that people really did that…until now.

By the one person I always considered to be above all this. All this Hollywood drama. Normal, healthy, confident, mature teens don’t do stuff like this. No..only those who are self-conscious, and have very little respect for themselves and their bodies would have the nerve to pose naked for a picture. I know there are a lot of people who say it was a mistake, and she’s only human.

Do any of you actually think that she did this on purpose? That she took the pictures because she wanted the world to see them? Absolutely not! She is an excellent role model for young girls and even girls who are 16. Like People magazine has stated in their article about her and Zac, you don’t see her coming out of clubs; you see her and Zac coming out of smoothie shops. Everyone is running around nude at home, alot of people is taking nude pictures just because its fun and they think they are pritty, its okej. she isn’t being bashed. she mabe a mistake and should accept the consequences and the consequences are harsh being in the public eye. it may be unfortunite but she not only mabe the mistake of taking the pitures in the first place but trusting the people who exposed them. she was right to accept the blame because the blame is all hers and it was smart to apologize and “act maturely” because there’s no denying it was her and she willing took the pictures. if she didn’t want pictures like that seen she shouldn’t have taken them. if this really hurts her career I think its the least she diserves for her actions. they were extremely irrisponsible. personally i don’t accecpt her apology.
