Vanessa Hudgens’ Apology to Fans

In light of the nude photo scandal, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has issued an apology to fans.

In a statement to JustJared.com, Vanessa, 18, said: “I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos . I am thankful for the support of my family and friends.”

Earlier this week, another statement was issued by Vanessa’s rep: “This was a photo which was taken privately It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that it has become public.”

We still love you, Vanessa! Be good –

why is everybody making such a big deal of this!!the pictures are old!!they were taken a year ago and unfotunately got in hands of the wrong people!!but i don’t understand why everybody is so shocked!!i meen just look at lindsay lohan or paris hilton!!they hace done things far worse than a few picture (like the porn movie with paris).everybody makes mistakes!!she is not perfect..nobody is!!in a few weeks people will forget about this scandal with V because another star will make a mistake!!just stop judging her!!she has demonstrated in many ocasions that she is a role model for all the young girls and that she is very responsable!!she is demonstrating that now too by asuming the mistakes that she did and beeing honest with all her fans!!just leave her alone!!

I’ll always love Vanessa, this isn’t going to change that. This statement just proves how mature she is and how well she is in handling this whole unfortunate situation. I am very proud of her and honored to say I am a fan.

Vanessa is still a role model since she handled her actions by saying it out in public in stead of hiding for several weeks. I’m proud of her, I love her and hope this will be forgotten soon.

Her personal life is her own and she’s entitled to that, and it was nobody’s business leaking these photos into the media, which absolutely disgusts me that someone would go to all the trouble to exploit a person like that. But as another young female who’s Vanessa’s age, I don’t think your body is anything to be ashamed of.

She shouldn’t be apologizing for this AT ALL, but the fact that she stood up and took responsibility for her actions is truly admirable. I’m still as much of a fan as I ever was and that’s not going to change anytime soon. I’d hope everyone can look past this, and that we still see her in the 3rd installment for High School Musical, though I wouldn’t mind seeing her broaden her horizons a bit more. And after all of this publicity? I’m sure we won’t be seeing the last of Vanessa. She was destined for greatness.

She’s human and nobody’s perfect. A lot of you oughta consider that before you’re so quick to pass judgement on someone you don’t even know.

Stay up, Vanessa. You have a lot of fans, whom still support you more than ever.

I do have to admit, I recently haven’t loved Vanessa at all. The feeling I got from her wasn’t good, and after I found out about the photos a week or whatever ago, I totally disliked her.

She has gained some respect back from me. She has to turn this out, get away from Disney, and make a huge comeback from the scandal.
