Vanessa Hudgens’ Apology to Fans
In light of the nude photo scandal, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has issued an apology to fans.
In a statement to JustJared.com, Vanessa, 18, said: “I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos . I am thankful for the support of my family and friends.”
Earlier this week, another statement was issued by Vanessa’s rep: “This was a photo which was taken privately It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that it has become public.”
We still love you, Vanessa! Be good –

im soo proud of her if it was me i think i would just curl up in a ball and cry my eyes out i mean every single one ofu’s who are diss’n her areacting like your perfect you’ve prob all done somthing you regreat at least shes admitting she was wrong and sayinf sorry to her fans the only thing i fear is disney is a famly channel and will not stand for this it all depends how fast this blows over is she’l do hsm3 or not b/c disney will not stand for rudeness of any sort

it’s really hard. i mean i feel bad for her, she totally had her privacy violated. i’m sure that she is absolutely mortified. this is the world we live in now, young girls think this is acceptable, NORMAL behavior. I mean look at Antonella Barbara from American Idol, look at the Miss Teen USA scandal - girls now a days think that this type of behavior is perfectly acceptable, the norm - and they think nothing of taking photos of it all. I guess when I was growing up, we didn’t have all this technology that makes it so much easier nowadays.
however, on the other side of the coin - i am a mother with young children who look up to this person. i pray that they don’t hear anything in school about there being pictures of vanessa nude on the internet. how do you explain that? i realize it wasn’t her intent for these to ever get out, but whomever made these public should be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. I mean, parents have to try and sheild their kids from this because it just destroys the whole HSM magic when one of the stars of the movie has this floating around out there.
I don’t think that she’s a bad person for doing this and I’m sure this is the last thing that she wanted to have happen at this point in her career. If they were taken by an ex-boyfriend, I just wonder why he waited until NOW to do it. I hope they weren’t taken recently for ZAC and somehow they were intercepted or something from cell phone services or a camera digital card. Maybe someone stole her camera from her bag at the airport and put them out there. Who knows, but either way - I know she will recover from it.
I guess just admitting it and moving on is the best way for this to go away quickly which is the best scenario at this point.
I am a MOM of kids that look up the the whole HSM gang. I have to say that I am so PROUD of the way that Vanessa has handled this. She came out and made a statement admitting a mistake. She is handling this better than most adults (especially those in politics). I am behind Baby V.

Vanessa did the right thing and admitted the truth. She doesn’t deny it like some other celebrities. I still support her 150% now and always!!
i dont agree with what she did because i would never do such a thing at any age but thats just how i was brought up. anybody that respects themselves wouldnt take such pictures. im disappointed in her behaviour cos at 16,17,18 naked pictures for the boyfriend never crossed my mind its so tacky not what i expect from anybody that age no matter who they are. id support her if she was family or a friend but as a fan she wont get it as she hasn’t earned it all i know is what she projects on screen which isnt 100%. when shes on screen we see a persona shes projecting but those private moments are glimpses into her private life and the first glimpse we see is those photos.what it basically shows is shes FAKE from the get go what she says and does are different. anyone remember ryan seacrest radio interview she went on about being a positive role model for kids and then he said how old are you she said 18 and he said we’ll give you time as in its too early to call. she must have had selective amnesia about naked pics for boyfriend and she didnt even need the time neway cos she was soiled from the begining. this case is worse than britney and lindsay because the fame hasnt seduced her and warped her sense of values but her values were already lacking in the first place. in the begining were these pics before she was famous while im sure britney and lindsay didnt have anything like this before they were famous. shes morally bankrupt and that wont stop her having a career but it should stop her doing kidstuff because shes not so innocent!!!!!

Yes, people make mistakes. However, anyone who is so stupid these days to a) make a video of themselves having sex and b) having nude pictures taken of themselves is suicide.

I feel bad for her too… cause her ex who leaked the pictures probably made money thanks to them, and disney is gonna make money thanks to them for sure lol, but she ain’t gonna make money off of them! I mean, now she basically has to whatever disney offers her salary wise for hsm3, lol! sucks that everyone else is gonna profit from this but her.
and i dont think it will ever officially come out when the pictures were taken. while it is more of an excuse she was so stupid to do it because she wasn’t famous or 18 when she did it, it’s also child pornography and makes her look even worse/look like more of a ho/un-Disney lol if she actually did this when she was only 15. so, there is NO good reason for her or her people to ever really clarify when these pictures were taken exactly.
i agree admitting to them right off the bat and going on the offensive now was a very smart PR move. Damage control will keep her in the press while she tries to work on her acting perhaps lol.
by the way, ohnoytheydidn’t seems to think they found the scumbag who leaked the pictures myspace page.
she makes lindsay look like an angel!! lindsay never took nude pictures, slutnessa’s way worse! horrible role model! boycott hsm (highly sexual material)!
