Vanessa Hudgens’ Apology to Fans
In light of the nude photo scandal, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has issued an apology to fans.
In a statement to JustJared.com, Vanessa, 18, said: “I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos . I am thankful for the support of my family and friends.”
Earlier this week, another statement was issued by Vanessa’s rep: “This was a photo which was taken privately It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that it has become public.”

#170: That’s what I say! They’re acting as if she took them this year. Some of these were supposedly taken for her ex-boyfriend (there’s only one nude shot, but the other are of her in her underwear). These pictures are most likely from when she was 16 or 17–a minor in the US.

For those nasty mean people who seem to be so quick at judging Vanessa and calling her names need to back off and realize that none of us are perfect by any means. We’ve all done things at times that we regret and wish we could go back and change them. Everyone has! Some might say that atleast they haven’t taken pictures like this before but as far as I am concerned being cruel, hateful and down right nasty like many have been, that to me is so much more horrible over a nude picture(meant to be private) any day. Keep your head up Vanessa and ignore the haters. You’ll get through this kiddo.

Vanessa, My heart goes out to you and your family and friends during this difficult time. I respect and appreciate the way you have handled the situation. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone deserves a second chance. It is sad that someone who brings such joy to people of all ages both through music and acting was subjected to this media frenzy. Everyone has a right to their privacy and I hope that despite this situation we will continue to see you in movies. You are a talented young lady and I wish you all the best in life. Sometimes dark clouds may hide the sunshine but there will always be a rainbow breaking its way through.

V if you are reading this, i just want you to know that my daughter who is ten years old cried reading those bad things other people says about you. So i told her the truth, do you know what she said? Did she say sorry? I said yes she did. So what is the problem? You told me admitting your mistakes takes a lot of courage. I think shes brave mummy, dont you think so? To tell you the truth that was all in german, my daughter can read and write english but shes still stumbling when she try to speak english. I want you to know that your still a great person not from outside also inside. Your courage to admit the truth in public put you up way better than Britney, Lindsay and Paris in pedestal. i get that the loyal fans of her is still with her side but let’s presume she’s not a big star today…she is just 18 yrs old and when i saw the picture looks like she was 16 or 17…she knew she was being photographed and still she posted naked at that young age..disney is a network that established teens to become a morally upright stars with values that they have learned with their parents…and community having her in disney will ruin it’s mission and vision….go on attack me if i’m wrong…but lets just put it this way..it’s the same thing when a crowned miss teen usa also have a pictured nude like that in the internet what would the management do? then give the crown to the 1at runner-up…!!!of course die-hard and loyal fans would still care and support her..but you’ve got to realize there are principles,morals and obligations that disney should consider after all many kids at the young age look up to her..what would their parents do? they would refrain them from seeing her….
