Heath Ledger Wears Waldo’s Socks

Heath Ledger put on quite the show at the Leone d’Oro del 75th closing ceremony at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday.

The Aussie actor intention of grabbing attention sure did work! Heath topped off his camouflage Ray-Ban Wayfarers (he also wore them on Tuesday) with a fedora, a pair of red-and-white “Where’s Waldo” striped socks and scuffed up shoes.

Heath’s an actor. And he’s weird and narcissistic! How can that be?

Haven’t we learned to separate the artist from the art, yet? He’s something of a wacko, true, but he remains among the two or three greatest actors of his generation.

I think he looks fantastic….for a tourist.
MAYBE thats what he was doing before he got a call saying the films won an award we need someone pronto. In one photo he looks like he’s being rushed inside.
JUST maybe he wasn’t expecting to be at the ceremony. Richard Gere & Todd Haynes were not there.
Come on guys. Give him a break.
