Haters!!!!! I can agree on the make up. The dress was nice but she was too bronze. Her Performance was wonderful. Those who say she can’t sing are unable to recognize real talent. Alicia Keys is one of the most well respected and spohisticated female artist around. Her outfit during her performance was hot and I loved the boots. As for the weight, there called CURVES. Thats what it looks like to have them.
Her performance last night was great, and she looked great.
I have to admit that if she had added a little jewelry to that dress that would have set it off!!!! Other than that she looked gorgeous, and the performance was the ****!!! i loved it!!!
Any of u who say different are crazy and need to get ur eyes checked dammit!!!!!!

alicia keys has not taste and it shows….she can’t dance..can’t walk in heels…can’t sing…not sang we all know that but this chick can’t even keep her notes on pitch…she goes flat all the time and shounds like crap…her supposed redeeming factor is that she is really a musician…she can barely play!
she was the total wreck of the vmas and she should have opened with the band she needs it along with the back-up singers to keep people from hearing how baddd, awful she really is solo….but no she gets out there and struts across the stage…again mind yu she can’t walk in heels ….it was atrocious! brit did way better than alicia and brit was counting her dance steps in her head, trying not to fall, also brit had the largest production of the night…and what the heck was justin referring to when he said watching chris brown’s perfromance reminded him that he is getting old…even on justin’s best day he has NEVER danced as well even remotely as well as chris brown….i truely believe that many of these celebs get delusional…and start believe fiction versus reality
and yes, i agree diddy and his table really kept home-girl afloat because she was about to go down big-time….they carried her…she owes them BIGGG time!

I think that a lot of you have gotten so used to average and subpar singers that you don’t know talent when you see it! To the person that said that Brits performance was better than A. Keys, you have got to be on something or just a really hard core Brit fan. That was a mess! She knows it and everyone that saw it at the show knows it. You can tell by their faces after the performance. Alicia’s voice was great, and kind of a different vocal performance from her. Freedom was Miss Keys doing her thang and rockin the crowd. This is true musical talent. She gets respect from everyone and anyone that knows anything about good music. So for all the haters, go watch what you like….Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Rhianna….whoever floats your boat, but this lady here, Alicia Keys will still be in the biz 10 years from down doing her thang when you get around to recognizing true singing and performing talent!

For the one’s who are so quick to speak the negatives, it’s easy to talk s***, but for the person who said alicia can’t sing nor play …PLEASE, I’d like to see you play a piano and dance..Don’t judge what you probably CAN’T DO yourself.
Granted, Alicia sounded ‘different’, for lack of a better word, she’s still an astounding,talented, respected woman/artist. She’s got skills regardless, and the day you can match it, is the day you can truly talk..
At least these people are living their dreams, doing what they love. It’s not that celebs (even if SOME may be) are delusional, it’s ridiculous people who spend too much analyzing people they know nothing about.
I have to agree with fyi, tough i like some of the alicias song´s that performance was not good, then she say´s that stevie wonder is here role model 4 music, but the songs she made, are very far from stevies material, now singing George Michael!! i mean come on! she don´t have the voice to do a good rendition of his song, then about justin, he just lost her feet, he an timbaland, think they´re the kings nowadays, this last justin´s cd, was sheet, and he compare himself with michael, that´s not have shame! and chris brown dance far more better than him…

ok did any one other than me notice the song she sang on the vma and the same song she had a different verse in it then the one she released. also that it was a george micheal rendition. Not that it matters but she says on vma taht theres a secret she must tell us and goes on to reveal some detail about her being gay. the song she released does not have that verse.
Its because shes not photogenic. Had you all watched the VMAs you would have seen that she looked GORGEOUS!!! Her makeup was stunning!! You guys have got to remember that:
1. Stage makeup has to be more dramatic
2. When you take pictures raw and untouched it always doesnt come up as nice as you’d want.
3. Shes a NATURAL BEAUTY but just not photogenic!
4. She looked STUNNING in that dress…but it didnt picture well because she doesnt know how to work it cos shes not that kinda girl, shes just focused on giving us pure talented MUSIC!
5. Ok, the makeup during her performance wasnt the best, but I’m sure that DIDNT BOTHER HER! she ROCKED it, with that honey smooth husky voice and I LOVE HER!!!

I think that Alicia is one of the most talented musicians, and it’s great that she changes and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries. And **** the critics and the haters cause no one is perfect ALL the time. Plus the messages in her songs are WAAAAY more deepeer than any other pop bubblegum ass bimbo and no one can deny that.
Alicia, keep doing ur thing and knock them out!
