She looked so uncomfortable….it wasn’t very good. She didn’t even look like she was trying to sing along, it was very bad…..She should have rehearsed more or something…..granted she wasn’t really singing….but still, she could have tried more….the whole thing seemed really slow and almost boring.

Question: Based upon all the recent horrible photos of Britney and now the bad reviews on her performance, the same as her pre-performances at HOB. Did she fire her publicist, sylist, agent and choreographer? Or is she trying to do everything on her own because she think she can run her own career. Based on the reviews if it is the later I hope she hire some top notch staff, if she intends to have any chance of reviving her music career.

britney did terrible to say the least. for having two kids and living the life style she does her body wasn’t bad but not fit for the two piece outfit she wore…she lipped everything. she looked extremely nervous and it showed when she kept playing with her hair. her dancing was horrible, it’s like she froze every once in a while and lastly what about criss angel!? she is going to get so slammed for that performance, she definitely didn’t make the comeback she was hoping to. oh and one more thing…she’s a mother so she shouldn’t be **** grabbing and humping men on stage. she’s disgusting.

…i think it would have been better for her to lay low and really hone her skills and THEN come out. sad. i would have rather seen one of her more energetic backup dancers lip synch the song.

She was beyond awful. I don’t know if she even knew which song she was supposed to be singing, a..lip syncing. Sad, sad, sad. What a waste of airtime given all of the talented artists at that award show. She needs to get medicated or go back to rehab.

I just put myself thru more torture and rewatched the tape Jared has up. I cannot believe that MTV allowed this to happen. I can’t believe during the rehearsals they didn’t do something. Spice up camera angles to get the camera off of her. Whether you like Madonna or say Christina Aguilara or Jennifer Lopez–they all work very hard at their craft and you rarely if ever catch them unprepared. I don’t know what happened that Britney feels she can just show up and have everyone kiss her butt and proclaim how great she is–when she is unprepared, undisciplined and gives a performance like this. The audience also looked totally aghast. Even worse than all of us not liking it - are her peers (her fellow musicians) just looking totally and completing stunned and not in a good way.

One of the tricks of the trade is to hire back-up dancers who weigh MORE than the star to make the star look better and thinner…well…notice how HUGE some of those back-up dancers were!?!? They had to get some THICK CHICKS to stand next to Brit. She needs a wake up call…and reality check….what will it take!?!?!

I’m not going to lie. It was the most awkward thing I’ve seen in a long time. I was truly sad and embarrassed to watch. It was painful. But this is the reality. Britney has been going down this road since the Justin fiasco. She needs to face a lot of her demons and come to grips with the fact that everything in her life is based solely on her choices and decisions. She’s no longer a teenager, people can’t hold her hands forever, if she wants her life back, career included she’s going to have to start acting like a grown up and take some damn responsibility.

oh dear, that was PAINFUL to watch! I don’t like/dislike her, but I did feel really bad for her. Something is wrong with her if a performer (note i did not say artist!) of her caliber cannot pull at least a “decent” show. She looked nervous and like she froze…so sad to see. I think ppl are right and she should just not have done it if that is the best she can do. She needs a lot more tweaking to pull a “come-back.”

That was unreal. I can’t believe that MTV let that go on. They must have seen in coming… And Sarah Silverman? It looked like they both skipped rehearsals and just kinda winged it on the night. Looked unprofessional and just sapped the life out of the show.

Poor Brit… She needs to go back in shape or at least should’ve had worn a better outfit. That’s too revealing and what we see, it doesn’t even remind of her golden years.
