Britney Spears opened up the 2007 Video Music Awards in a bejeweled bra and panties, performing her single “Gimme More.”

If I was Britney I would be embarassed and just leave Sin City. I can’t believe there was actually a time I love watching Britney perform and thought she was the best performer out there. I don’t know even know if anyone can consider that a performance. She was slow and lost, and was looking at her dancers for the next move.
ok…the song is alright. first time i heard it. the performance, however, SUCKED! she had no energy. it was just blah. she was obviously lip singing and she didn’t even dance that much or that hard so she could have really sang. just not a good performance overall.

i kinda beleieve she probably was drinking before the show. i kept watching her face and she seemed so nervous like she couldn’t wait til the performance was done. it would be something if that was a joke performance.
it looked like britney, but them moves were nothing like her heyday. thank god i had tivo. the performance looked better fast forward. *yawn* what a disappointment!

OMG that was terrible!!! I was really hoping she was going to put the crack pipe down long enough to bring it—I really like the song but I wouldn’t spend a dollar to go see her doing THAT. I could also feel how uncomfortable she was being up there performing on stage. It felt like I was watching an out of sync movie—sometimes her lips didn’t match up with the words. Poor Brit…
WOW…no one in the audience was able to fake a smile or any other positive emotion. The brakes on the train have offically failed and we are watching it start down the mountain.
i think she was nerveouse but it wasnt good but it wasnt bad apart from that the vmas are really boring i think the lasta one that were really good were in 2003 this is small slow and boring

britney did terrible to say the least. for having two kids and living the life style she does her body wasn’t bad but not fit for the two piece outfit she wore…she lipped everything. she looked extremely nervous and it showed when she kept playing with her hair. her dancing was horrible, it’s like she froze every once in a while and lastly what about criss angel!? she is going to get so slammed for that performance, she definitely didn’t make the comeback she was hoping to. oh and one more thing…she’s a mother so she shouldn’t be **** grabbing and humping men on stage. she’s disgusting.
Wow, that was soooo….bad. Not a lot changed from the real show to rehearsing, I thought she would come out with a BAM performance this was like, I cannot fill this space with the words I am feeling now. It was bad let’s put it this way. This song is a hit?! Not by a long shot…whoever said that she was back must have been paid a lot of money.

So very sad. She looked terrified, tentative and wobbly. Was she drunk? Who let her wear those clothes and weave? That was worse than anticlimatic. We saw the end of Britney as a viable artist.
i was totally excited and hoping shed come out with a great comeback but it was pretty much awful. i was expecting a ton of dancing and energy and there was NOTHING. props to her for wearing the outfit, many still say shes chubby, but hey, shes still lot a LOT of weight and has had 2 kids. good for her on that, but i think her career is over.
