One man who has some explaining to do: Criss Angel. Did the magic man infuse any magic into Britney’s comeback performance at the VMAs? (If you missed it, watch Britney’s VMAs performance here).
Even the Associated Press rips into Brit’s performance:
“Somewhere, Kevin Federline is laughing.
An out-of-shape, out-of-touch Britney Spears delivered what was destined to be the most talked about performance of the MTV Video Music Awards — but for all the wrong reasons. Kicking off the show Sunday night with her new single, “Gimme More,” Spears looked bleary and unprepared — much like her recent tabloid exploits on the streets of Los Angeles.
She lazily walked through her dance moves with little enthusiasm. It appeared she had forgotten the entire art of lip-synching; and, perhaps most unforgivable given her once taut frame, she looked embarrassingly out of shape.
Even the celebrity-studded audience seemed bewildered. 50 Cent looked at Spears with a confused expression; Diddy, her new best friend, was expressionless.
Some comeback.”

Really? I did not know that. If I was Britney and I hear Sarah Silverman making jokes about my baby, I would be upset too and wouldn’t want to perform. What the hell is wrong with Sarah Silverman, seriously.

Dumbass Sarah said the kids look as cute as the “hairless ******” they came out of and then she did her lips in a way that looked like a ****** pretending to be the kids.

Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney’s babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.
Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. That big-mouthed ***** said it anyway.
Sam Lufti was overheard backstage screaming at Sarah Silverman because of her outrageous remarks saying: “Sarah Silverman is a seriously unprofessional person to make fun of infants to get a laugh. Making fun of kids is not condonable,” and that “she should have picked on someone her own size.”
Perhaps this why Britney looked upset during her performance.
While it is Silverman’s job to get a laugh, it should not be at the expense of little babies. Your career must be hurting if you have to turn to bashing infants in order to gain a laugh. You’ll get what’s yours.

Nobody was laughing when Sarah Silverman’s make those jokes about Britney’s children. They were booing her. I feel so sorry for Britney. She was looking forward to deliver an awesome performance but because of this comedian bi***tch, Britney couldn’t deliver. You can tell she was upset and very discourage.

Please Brit fans, stop making excuses for someone who failed to rehearse adequately in favor of partying for 3 days. Brit’s bad performance is Brit’s fault alone.
It was difficult to watch the performance. No enthousiam, and no pride left at all. I wonder why she set herself up for failure. I do not understand her at all. She use to have better creative judgement, and energy. If she had nailed the lip singing and had been more explosive and energetic with the dance choreography, it could have been amazing.
I found Chris Brown’s performance energetic, but he lip sang too. So I felt I was watching a very good “so you think you can dance” number. I can’t wait to watch another performance.
As for Brit…Justin perhaps was trying to ligthen the pressure by saying that he too felt he was getting old…
I will refrain from saying mean things because I feel sorry for her eventhough I am not a fan.
That said, I agree with those who can see that this is a girl whose camp let her become superfamous on lack of talent, no skinging skills and actually no dancing skills.
Now that she is older and not into the little doll image, there is nothing left. Britney was never a good singer - nor was she ever a good dancer - she just learned dance moves.
She is hurting right now and her performance is a result of it. I hope someone takes care of her and holds her and loves her. She needs that. At least for her kids, I hope she will be ok.
This must be very hard for her.

Totally agree with Team Lara Croft, Sarah Silverman IS an ugly cow. I was completely shocked and wasn’t at all laughing when those comments were being said. The crowd was quiet as well, knowing very well that Sarah has cross the line. I wish I was there so I could throw something at the comedian bit***ch.

The reason Criss Angel didn’t perform with her is because “insurance reasons” illuminated.com said that MTV turned them away @ the last minute. She also found out about the comments made about her kids from comedian Sarah Silverman right before she took the stage… they said she was PISSED.
