As much as I feel sorry for Brit,it is hard to believe that sarah is also to be blamed for Cris Angel not-show participation, and whether or not Sarah is to be blamed, the stage appearance wasn’t that elaborate and the choreography didn’t appear to have any glamorous, breath-taking concepts ANYWAYS! Brit an dher dancer were crammed up on stage…in the past Britney used to work evry inch of the stage..?? So Sil;ver man or not, the girl needs to go away and repair her life and career

Here’s the thing - even if the Sarah Silverman story is true… well, then she should have just gone out there and kicked azz and shown her up.
She was partying all weekend and seemed to have a falling out with Criss Angel. That is the reason for her poor performance. And there is no excuse for going out there with her hair looking like sh*t.
From what I read, the criss magic thingy was changed in the last minute. everything was changed in just a few days and then she overheard untalented Silverman rehearsing her monologue about her kids. gosh!!! the pressure!!! on britney. you know what… she might as well say “F*ck to all of you” for putting me down and trying to kill me. this dance is for all of you.

#23 Love I think you nailed it. Her problems have stemmed from blaming everyone from her manager to her family for HER choices, HER mistakes, and HER behavior. That is classic addict behavior. You don’t have to be using something to be acting like an addict. As Drew Barrymore said, it’s being a “dry drunk”. Doing all the same destructive things, blaming everyone else, hanging out with the same crowd. All you did was not put chemicals in your body, but everything else stayed the same. That’s Lindsay’s problem.
Britney might not be driving drunk, but she is behaving like an addict. The whole world is against her and everything that goes wrong has got to be someone else’s fault!!! Yeah, okay, that must be it. Couldn’t have anything to do with the choices you made, or not wanting to live with the consequences of those choices, could it? Nahhhhh…….

Okay, let’s get real, even if Britney was upset by Sarah’s attempt at comedy, a feeble attempt at that, Brit is a professional and still should have done her thing. She didn’t which at the very least means she isn’t ready for a comeback. Even if she was pissed as hell at Sarah, a professional goes and then takes issue later. It wasn’t that bad ..in fact - considering she has not done any type of live performances since her incredible live renditions between the FAMOUS “Madonna Kiss” on stage, and the “BANANA” python act, which by the way where two of the best acts over the yrs the VMS have ever had on performing….I actually thought her gig was great!!!! Also, Rememember all you Hatres out there that are too quick to blast on..she HAS been out of the spotlight (somewhat anyway) for almost 2 years with regards to performing “LIVE” acts and the pressure and hype build up to the great VMA’s as the OPENING ACT must have been torture. In fact, it was meticulously choreographed as much as one can do in short time frame. You all just like to hate on ppl… HATING on her performance that obviously in a such a short amount time took a lot to accomplish, was great!. Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney’s babies mistakes and takes jab after jab.
Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. Sam Lufti (VMA producer) was overheard backstage screaming at Sarah Silverman because of her outrageous remarks saying: “Sarah Silverman is a seriously unprofessional person to make fun of infants to get a laugh.” Perhaps this why Britney looked upset during her performance. Britney was seen backstage in Alli’s arms crying about how cruel people can be to her babies. While it is Silverman’s job to get a laugh, it should not be at the expense of little babies. Britney Spears was to perform under the magic of Chris Angel..but MTV freaked out at the last minute finding out what Britney was actually going to do. Supposedly, what Britney and Chris were planning was to do a set of mirrors and flotation. But when told to the Palms they flipped. Insurance!!, and the stage couldn’t support the performance. MTV also freaked at the last minute because of their fear of being “too controversial” Britney and Chris were infact furious with MTV’s sad excuse, they told Britney to change the performance at the last minute. Britney’s original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air… and for much mature dancing

The big deal is that she was boring. You can’t be hyped for weeks, to the exclusion of everything else on the show, and then turn in that lackluster performance.
If people paid money to go to a concert to see a performer do what she did they’d be outraged, with good cause. She’s is supposed to perform, not stand, shuffle, and then swivel in a state of dead-eyed catatonia.
She looked horrible. Her weave looked bad, she looked like she didn’t know where she was supposed to be on stage. Her eyes looked vague, her steps were tentative. After all the build up, she should have come out on that stage, balls out and gave a performance that even I, a non-fan, could admit was good.
All she did was reinforce my opinion that she is a talentless waste who needs to take her kids and get the hell out of Hollywood and live a quiet life so I never have to hear about her again.

I saw the performance. He was looking at the dancers that came down from the ceiling and performed directly over a few of the dinner tables, then glancing forward to Brittney on stage.
If you look at the re-runs of the show, you’ll see Rihanna also looking up and then glancing forward at Britney, just as 50 is doing.

Not taking up for her, but I don’t think Mr. Cent even has a clue what’s going on…he probably forgot for just a second that he wasn’t at a strip club…other than that he reminds me of at least a dozen people I know, just some half-bright yahoo who, were it not for some streak of dumb luck, wouldn’t even be in the gene pool or the envy of a generation of brain-dead adolescents. Yes, it is funny watching him breathing through his gaping maw like a tard, watching some tarted up fluzies for hire gyrate on stage, their leader apparently spent from too many night(s) before guzzling vodka or whatever. So it boils down to this kids…the chances of you surviving a drive by like 50 are low, and he was lucky, VERY LUCKY - and at the very least, the lesson is that a little sleep the night before can mean a big difference between giving a good performance, or causing a news disaster that overshadows even the anniversary of 9/11 (I’m still reeling over that).
