#22 you’re so right! vanessa took those pictures when she was underage, and people making websites and links to her photos are basically promoting child porn, because she was a CHILD when she took the photos. it pretty sick that grown men are probably looking at her pictures, now THAT is what i call i crime.
and saying that she deserved what she got is pure bull. first of all the pictures were private, meaning that they were taken for herself and possibly her boyfriend. they were leaked, she didnt post the pictures publicly. i honestly dont think that Vanessa pretends to be all innocent. she seems pretty genuine.

i’m all for vanessa! it’s sad that people have a hard time understanding that she’s a normal person. her “image” is sugary and innocent because that’s what disney pays her to do! that doesn’t mean that’s who she is - she’s acting :P give the girl a break.

It’s kind of funny how one group of people are saying “Don’t judge her, she is a good nice girl and you don’t know her!” Well, that’s the point, isn’t it? NOONE here knows her. We don’t know if she is a sugary sweet girl, but we don’t know if she’s a sl*t either just because of these pictures.

I can’t judge her based on one stupid mistake she made when she was 15 or 16 years old. All I know is, she isn’t the person Disney tried to make her be. Who she is in her private life is probably different from who she seems to be in her public life. JMO.

I recently watched High School Musical 2. To be Honest When Vanessa was on screen I didn’t think about the nude pictures because Gabriella (Vanessa’s character) is such a sweet innocent girl. Vanessa is a talented actress and when she’s in character you forget where one stops and the other starts. When Kids watch the movie they’ll think of Gabriella as their role model, Not Vanessa.

Characters and their acters are not one in the same. Does anybody really think Zac Efron can play basketball well enough to get scouted by a college team? NO! THATS TROY BOLTON! Zac Efron is no more a basketball player then Vanessa is an innocent virgin! I’ll be Good money that Zac and vanessa has slept together by now. GO ZAC! I’ll still let my little brother and cousin see the movie. Because Troy and Gabriella are sweet and safe. Also I don’t think that Vanessa and Zac are bad people they just haven’t lived up to the (way too high) moral standards we want them to. Compared to a lot of stars they’re still very innocent.

We Have to learn to seperate characters from their actors and to make sure the characters that kids Idolize are good role models. Mos kids don’t follow celebrity gossip until they’re old enough to relize how complicated the world. But they try to model themselves after characters as soon as they see a movie.
