That Zahara is a stone gas, I could see photos of her everyday.

Stop asking where is Shiloh. She’s at home and enjoying the peace and quiet. It seems everytime she is out, people go crazy. You trolls keep saying Angie doesn’t love Shiloh but do you see Brad taking her out by himself except for that one time in New Orleans (when they needed her for a role in daddy’s film)? They are protecting her as parents should.

She only comes out when the family is moving from one place to another…when of course she has to. Resign yourselves to not seeing much of her because the parents won’t be taking her out where there are going to be crowds gawking at her or where somebody could actually hurt her.

Their other children don’t arouse that much reaction as Shiloh so they are always out with them. Plus they’re at that age where you have to entertain them more. When Shiloh gets a little older or when the interest in her has gone down (good luck with that! don’t think so, but…) then maybe they will take her out more.

it kills me to read some of your stupid defenses for these two and their not taking shiloh out. each one of these kids are gawked at the same. there is the same number of paps following them no matter which kid or kids are out with them. and if they are “protecting” shiloh (which they’re not), then they should protect them all seeing as a rude pap is a rude pap is a rude pap.

no, what we have here (for Brad & Angelina) is simply a case of politically correct, liberal guilt…with a little hate thrown in (on AJs part). The child is old enough to be able to take things in and see and look and experience. Their home base in the US is NOLA.That’s what Brad said when he was there for his Global Green project. The difference in Angelina’s life when Maddox was a baby and now are totally different. Angelina was not hounded by the papso’s then like she is now, therefore she had peace when she took Maddox out. it kills me to read some of your stupid defenses for these two and their not taking shiloh out. each one of these kids are gawked at the same. there is the same number of paps following them no matter which kid or kids are out with them. and if they are “protecting” shiloh (which they’re not), then they should protect them all seeing as a rude pap is a rude pap is a rude pap.

no, what we have here (for Brad & Angelina) is simply a case of politically correct, liberal guilt…with a little hate thrown in (on AJs part). The child is old enough to be able to take things in and see and look and experience. With Z as a precedent, there should be no reason to leave Shiloh behind as much as they do and the only reason to explain why they do is that they are scared to leave the public and media with the impression that they love the white child any more than the others.

people should stop saying that angie is anornexic. angie was skinny b4 she met brad. i saw lara croft tomb raider few nights ago. in one of the scenes where she was talking on the phone in comboldia, her veins from her arms were poping out. you can see how skinny she was there. also, the premier for bone collector, she looked like a ghost. she was very skinny there as well. look into those photos and you will see that she is naturally skinny. she is naturally skinny to begin with her. because she breast fed shiloh, i think she got skinner. also, i think her mother’s death had contributed to as well. leave the woman alone. she wouldn’t risk her health. she loves her children and brad too much.

I am so proud of myself . I have learned to just skip over any negative comments. I feel so much better. Brad Pitt got some good news before he was paraded in front of the wolf pack of international press at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. In a bit of a surprise, Pitt won the Best Actor award at the just-concluded Venice Film Festival for his role as the legendary outlaw Jesse James in “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.” One of the best films so far this year, its praise mostly has been centered on Pitt’s co-star, Casey Affleck, who plays Ford. Nevertheless, Pitt, whose biggest win so far was a Golden Globe for 1995’s “Twelve Monkeys,” was extremely humble about the recognition.

“The nicest thing of it all is how excited my friends are for me, including these guys here,” Pitt says. “And to be a part of the lineage of people who have also [been] bestowed this honor.”

Depicting and inspired by historical events centered on the last year of James’ life, the movie paints a vivid portrait of a man who flips between paranoia and peace regarding his eventual fate — that is, of course, if anyone has the guts to kill him. Ironically for Pitt, the movie also chronicles the power of James’ fame and the pros and cons of being one of the biggest celebrities of his time. Pitt notes, “There were sensationalism and complete fabrication back then, too — not much has changed besides the quantity.”

And the 43-year-old actor would know. He’s no stranger to the paparazzi, considering he’s one of the biggest movie stars in the world and the boyfriend of Angelina Jolie. Still, he claims he “knows the deal.”

“It can be difficult, but you acclimate. And we get great perks — we get to see the world,” Pitt says. “The only thing unmanageable is when they come full-frontal at the kids. It seems there’s no line drawn for family these days — that’s the only thing that really bothers me.”

Pitt has alternated big-ticket pictures, such as this past summer’s “Ocean’s Thirteen,” with more difficult roles in “Babel,” “Jesse James” and next year’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” for director David Fincher. As he continues to challenge himself, he says he finds solace in Jolie’s opinion of his work.

You shouldn’t have to have explained that. Anyone with half a brain working and has children in their lives can pretty much figure it out on their own. It’s a sad day when you have to exlpain common freaking sense to people.

I hope Jared record all the IP adresses of those child obssessors. There is nothing healthy or innocent when adults, even in a blog are asking time and time again where this child is, especially since Pax is ignored.

So either they are obssessive maniacs and presume child molestors, either they are in to abduct that child !

Huge increase in number of Iraqi children in Syrian schools

DAMASCUS, Syria, 11 September (UNHCR) – Tens of thousands of Iraqi children who have been forced to flee their own country started classes in Syria this week as the Syrian Ministry of Education began a new school year in which it plans to raise the number of Iraqi students to 100,000.

The Syrian Ministry of Education reported a huge increase in the number of Iraqi children who have registered. When classes resumed on Sunday and Monday, a survey of 32 schools showed a significant rise, with one school’s Iraqi enrolment increasing from five students last year to over 100 this year. A full count will be available in October.

The UN refugee agency (UNHCR) and the Ministry of Education have been preparing since the beginning of 2007 to increase the number of Iraqi children in Syrian public schools to 100,000 during the 2007-2008 school year. Syrian schools, which have accepted children from neighboring Arab countries for decades, last year enrolled over 33,000 Iraqi children. UNHCR estimates that at least 1.4 million Iraqis are currently living in Syria, some 250,000 of school age.

“The Iraqi refugee children living in Syria are the future of Iraq,” said Laurens Jolles, UNHCR representative in Syria. “Many have already missed out on a considerable amount of their education, both in Iraq and as refugees in Syria. It is one of our top priorities to support the Ministry of Education to accommodate the tens of thousands of Iraqi children who want to enrol in schools.”

In Seida Zeinab, a neighbourhood of Damascus where over 350,000 Iraqi refugees live, all schools have seen significant increases in the number of Iraqi children attempting to enrol.

For 16-year-old Nada, this is the first time in two years she has been able to attend school. In June 2005 she graduated in the top 10 students in the Baghdad region. By September 2005, three of her uncles had been murdered and Nada’s school was no longer functioning. When a fourth uncle was held for ransom, before finally being released in 2006, Nada and her family came to Syria.

“My dream in life is to be a doctor,” said Nada. “I find it really hard to study in Syria – my whole life is disrupted. Although I wish I could return to my life in Iraq, I am grateful that I have the opportunity to study again.”

During the summer break over 70 schools have been rehabilitated and equipped in areas with high concentrations of refugees. Plans for constructing eight new schools, with a capacity for over 16,000 children, have been finalized and construction is to be completed by the beginning of the next school year in 2008.

In the meantime, UNHCR is ready with a number of solutions for schools that are overwhelmed by requests for enrollment from Iraqi refugees, including transportation to alternative schools with space, temporary classrooms and the payment of teachers’ salaries for schools that undertake a double shift system.

During the past two weeks, school uniforms were distributed to over 11,000 children with the support of Syrian Red Crescent volunteers. UNHCR aims to increase this number to 20,000 in coming months.

UNHCR and UNICEF issued a joint appeal in July for US$129 million to support Iraqi refugee education in the region. Since then, UNHCR and UNICEF have established an Emergency Education Taskforce to find solutions to the many issues preventing Iraqi refugees from accessing education. By the end of 2007 UNHCR will have given the Syrian Ministry of Education over $20 million, with increased funding expected for 2008.

UNHCR’s commitment to education will enter a new stage this month when UN High Commissioner Antonio Guterres and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie join former US President Bill Clinton at the 26-28 September meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in a call for $220 million to ensure refugee children worldwide have access to schools.
