I would like to point out that before V was famous she was aspiring to become a Victora’s Secret model. None of her photographs that are popping up right now (not even the full nude frontal) was the least bit racy. IMO anyway. But my point is that if she had become a model for VS then she would not have been placed on this pedestal that apparently goes along with being a “Disney Sweetheart.” She is HUMAN–she makes mistakes just like the rest of us but because she is “a rolemodel” she gets berated for it?! I hardly think that’s fair. She has apologized and I am sure that we will get a little bit more from Thursday nite. V needs her family and friends and especially her fans more than ever right. I’m glad to see Vanessa out and about in the states again and with her family too. I’m really proud of the way she’s handled herself in this entire situation. Vanessa has shown much more maturity than other young female celebrities we tend to always hear about. I’m sure this entire incident has been a painful experience for her, but I know that she has already come out of this a better and stronger young woman. I believe that expecting Vanessa to be a “perfect and ideal” role model was something the public had no right to ask of her and in no way did she ever say she was. I’ve heard “V” refer to herself as “a good kid” and she is. Even “good kids” make mistakes. Those pictures were taken in the past and that’s over and done with already. Vanessa cannot take back what she did, but she has admitted her mistake, accepted responsibility for her past actions and apologized to her fans for disappointing them. I think that shows true character and I admire her that. I know Vanessa isn’t a “perfect” role model and I’m glad that she’s isn’t because I had forgotten that she is a human being who is capable of making mistakes. I was sucked into that “fantasy” of a “perfect role model” which the media tends to label “Disney stars”. I had put an unrealistic expectation on a young woman I don’t even know personally. Vanessa, I apologize for that and I want you to know that I will continue to support you for as long as you want to remain in the entertainment business. My positive thoughts, heartfelt prayers and best wishes are with you always.

If you guys seriously think it’s fine/”normal”/okay for a 15-16 year old to take fully naked photos of herself and then SEND them to someone, full frontal and all as her stuffed animals look on in the background, then I SERIOUSLY hope it’s all people OVER the age of 18 who are NEVER planning on raising kids who think this is “no big deal.” Should/will it ruin her career? It’s great to see Vanessa out with her family!! The last week had to have been painful for her and those who love her. I’m sure she had tons of encouraging phone calls from friends, and lots of hugs from Zac to help her through. He was just what she needed. But they have to move on with their committments and appearances, and her fans’ support will help Vanessa get past this!!

Really, all we can say about Vanessa is that she was foolish and used poor judgement in taking and sending the photos at a young age, but the person who tried to ruin her by publically posting them is the worst kind of person. I think that is what I hate the most about this whole thing.
