Vanessa Hudgens Keeps Covered Up
A camera shy Vanessa Hudgens keeps covered up while taking her little sister Stella, 11, and mom, Gina Guangco, to the movies in west LA on Monday.
Accompanied by a couple of burly bodyguards, Hudgens, 18, kept hidden beneath her baseball cap as she walked arm-in-arm with lil’ sis Stella.
The High School Musical star recently came under fire when nude photos of the actress surfaces last Thursday. Since then, she has apologized to fans and Disney has backed her.
Vanessa is expected to make an appearance on Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Be sure to tune in — the issue is bound to come up!

If you guys seriously think it’s fine/”normal”/okay for a 15-16 year old to take fully naked photos of herself and then SEND them to someone, full frontal and all as her stuffed animals look on in the background, then I SERIOUSLY hope it’s all people OVER the age of 18 who are NEVER planning on raising kids who think this is “no big deal.” Should/will it ruin her career? Absolutely not. But should it be considered okay/normal/”everybody does it” behavior? Absolutely not.
Let’s say she wasn’t famous and somehow these pictures STILL got on the net somehow and on to God knows what website… a young girl, full frontal nudity, stuffed animals in a girl’s bedroom setting… um, hello, anyone seen “To Catch a Predator” on Dateline, LOL?
I don’t think Vanessa’s a ho or ruined for life for these pictures, but please, especially any tweens out there, LEARN from her mistakes and KNOW this is NOT okay or “normal” or without possible consequences.
I’m going to guess that most of the people who post on here were not born prior to 1982, when another beautiful and talented woman named Vanessa shared a similar fate to Vanessa Hudgens. That Vanessa was Vanessa L. Williams, first African-American Miss America and co-star of today’s “Ugly Betty.”
She took some suggestive photos also, which went on to be published by Penthouse Magazine.
Here is a piece on Vanessa L. Williams:
“The genesis of the photos dated back to 1982, when she worked as an assistant and makeup artist for Mount Kisco, N.Y. photographer Tom Chiapel. According to Williams, Chiapel advised her that he wanted to try a “new concept of silhouettes with two models.” He photographed Williams and another woman in several nude poses. The photographs depicted mild overtones of simulated lesbian sex, which was quite controversial for its time.”
Vanessa L. Williams went on to say that she “believed the photographs were private and had been destroyed.”

76 I agree. What Vanessa did was kinda wrong. But she shouldn’t be put through all this trouble.
She doesn’t do drugs. she doesn’t go on super insane shopping sprees, she doesn’t spend time in clubs. She hasn’t even had a driving accident yet and this happens to normal people in LA all the time. I say that of all the young stars teenage and tween girls actually care about Vanessa is still one of the best role models.
Also I think that Vanessa is a babe, but i wasn’t too excited about seeing her naked. The nude picture was not gross or way to sexy, in fact my ownly thought was “yep shes a woman.” it wasn’t as bad as everyone’s acting like it was.

gosh i feel so bad for her. If paparazzis have been following her because of her good career, because she is dating Zac…now they won’t let her alone any minute because of the photos.. and i say and repeat… WHAT IS THE BAD THING OF HER PICTURES? I mean, just a few pictures, c’mon…Most of the ones who posted something about those pics, probably have worse things than these photos. So shut up ¬¬. I feel like she’s embarrased. And who wouldnt be like her if THE ENTIRE WORLD probably saw pictures of yourself with no clothes, even underwears..?¿ I hate those paparazzis…she can’t even go to the cinema with her fam? Gosh..this world is so crazy. But this fact shows EVERYONE that vanessa hudgens is so important…But NOBODY will let her down…You won’t can because she is SO amazing and the pictures were PRIVATE. I hope vanessa starts legal things to the ones who have her pictures on their site because when she took them she was no legal yet, SO it’s ILLEGAL to popst them. Everyone does has a right to voice their opinion. I will agree to that much. No one has the right to pass judgment on Vanessa the way many of you have been doing though. Unless you can stand there in front of the whole world and prove that you’re free from doing any wrongdoing whatsoever in your entire life then you cannot judge her. That’s my opinion.

even though i was sad about the nude pics of vanessa…im still proud of her, and i will continue to be a fan. It is true that everybody makes mistakes, and at that time, she was probably just stressed over having a perfect body and someone to like her…All those stresses during your teenage years…and take note she lives in California (in proximity of Hollywood, where people are obsessed with their appearances.)
We should all move on and quit making fun of her calling her pathetic…because it’s IMMATURE to call her all those vicious names.
We’ve seen in the news Paris sex tape and Lindsays drug issue..yet we forget about it and move on…
so let’s forget about her scandal, and actually admire her acting/singing skill.
She’s not leting this incident get to her. She’s trying to get her life back. I’m not saying that what she did was right. It was her decission. She TRUSTED someone and they betrayed her. How do you think she feels? To have someone you trust betray is a big thing. She probably is really hurt from that alone. She doesn’t need people critisizing. I’m 13 and I know I would never do something like that in a couple of years. Can you people just let her explain it.

It’s great to see Vanessa out with her family!! The last week had to have been painful for her and those who love her. I’m sure she had tons of encouraging phone calls from friends, and lots of hugs from Zac to help her through. He was just what she needed. But they have to move on with their committments and appearances, and her fans’ support will help Vanessa get past this!!
I agree with Ashley (#96) please Jared don’t rewrite old stories, I know you’re a fan of Vanessa too so please stop writing that, it will help people move on…
